The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。

As part of the same planet， it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment。 Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment。

Sharing bike can be seen in every corner of the street, which is very

popular by the public. The foreigners speak highly of sharing bike, because they

Dogs have been domesticated for most of human history and have thus endeared themselves to many over the years. Perhaps few of the millions of dogs in the world may be so heroic, but they are still a source of genuine delight to their owners.

A dog fits easily into family life. It thrives on praise and affection. When a master tells a dog that it is good, the animal happily wags its tail. But when a master scolds a dog, it skulks away with a sheepish look and with its tail tucked between its legs.

People in the city as well as those in other areas can enjoy a dog. Medium-size or small dogs are best suited for the confines of the city. Large dogs need considerable exercise over a large area.

Dogs are not always well thought of, however. In recent years dogs in the city have been in the center of controversy. Some people have criticized dog owners for allowing their pets to soil sidewalks and lawns, although in some cities laws oblige owners to walk their dogs along street curbs. When a person decides to own a dog, he should be prepared to care for it properly. For a dog to stay healthy it must be correctly fed and adequately groomed, and its medical needs must be met. Dogs have been with humans since prehistoric times. Over the years they have performed various services. They have pulled sleds over snowy tracts. They have delivered messages, herded sheep and cattle, and even rescued persons trapped in the snow. Dogs have served as a source of food, too. The ancient Romans are said to have prized certain kinds of dog stew. The Aztecs of ancient Mexico raised tiny dogs, thought to be the forebears of the chihuahua, to feed the large carnivores in the private zoos of the Aztec rulers. In the past dogs have even been worshiped as gods. Recently, they have been used in drug research, medical experimentation, and space science. Soviet scientists launched dogs into space to test the ability of mammals to survive the rigors of space travel before people were sent up.

Dogs are trained as guard dogs in peacetime by the United States Army and other military services. Because of their keen sense of smell, dogs are used by police at times to track down escaped prisoners. Law enforcement agencies also rely on the dogs acute sense of smell to uncover illegal drugs. fashionable or politically correct. A life of principle, of not succumbing to

我们人类有一个共同的家——地球。我喜欢碧水蓝天、茂盛的森林、鸟儿自由的唱歌、飞翔、多种动物快活自在的生活着，鸟语花香，空气清新，鱼儿在河里欢快地游着，处处百花盛开、繁花似锦，人与自然和谐相处，没有那么多自然灾害。

可是现实是这样吗?比如森林的沙漠化问题，因为大量的树木被砍伐，当出现沙尘暴、龙卷风时，再也没有树木挡风遮雨，没有了树木，没有了森林，空气也变得不再清新，原本蔚蓝的天空像蒙上了灰面纱。清澈的湖水变得浑浊不堪，城市中的沟渠散发出浓浓的臭气。人们为了自己的利益，把工厂里的废气排放到空中，废水不经过处理排放到河流湖泊中。比如我们的滇池就是受到污染，所以国家这几年来大力治理滇池，改善其水质。许多动植物也毁在了人类的手里。人为生态的恶化是以一种什么样的可怕的速度导致了自然生态的恶化呢?如果有一天所有的水不能再喝了，空气不能再自由地呼吸了，如果动物全被人类杀害了，植物全被人类毁光了，那人类又能独自存活吗?想想将是多么可怕!我们的地球母亲将多么伤心，我们失去了地球家园，我们将去向哪里。

我只是一名小学生，我现在懂的知识不多。但是，我不会随地吐痰，乱扔果皮，出去买东西带上环保袋，不去踩踏草坪，选择绿色出行，文明出行。尽量不使用一次性筷子，一次洗餐盒，随手关水关灯，节约用水用电，平时生活中使用过的废旧物品比如旧书回收再利用，不能随手丢弃。爱护花草树木，家里面养宠物的带出去要清理它的粪便，环境保护无小事，保护环境从小事做起，从身边做起，从我做起，我们每个人对可以做到。

保护地球，保护环境，人人有责，我们行动起来，让天更蓝、水更清、树更绿、花更红、人更好。

As the Christmas Day is coming, our class decided to send some gifts to our

teachers, because we wanted to show our gratitude to them. At first, we had no

idea what to buy, because we wanted to do something special. So at last an idea

came to my mind. I advised to write a card, pasting some pictures of classmates

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

and everybody wrote down their names on the card. When we sent this gift to the

teachers, they loved it so much. They were so impressed by this precious

surprise and would keep it forever.

I am a student from Xinhua Middle School in Chongqing，China. Informed that

you have a vacancy for a student to serve as the spokesman for animals, I cannot

resist my inner excitement,hoping to seize the opportunity to do something for

animals .

In my mind，nothing can delight me so much as caring for animals. Wherever I

go and whatever I do, I usually keep in mind that animals are angels from the

heaven, which bring us endless comfort and pleasure. I have been a panda lover

since my childhood. Panda is so lovely that brings fun to people and they are

regarded as the treasure of our country. Unfortunately，such a rare species is

now faced with the danger of being extinct。What I am eager to do is to raise

people’s awareness of animal protection and appeal to more people to care for

our earth companies.

It is my belief that all human beings can make a difference together. I

would appreciate it if my application could get your approval.

Its our duty to protect ourenvironment. Where do we live? The earth. The earth is the only one place we live in. So you know how important the environment is.

But now, some people are harming the environment, like cutting down trees, drawing pictures on public walls,litteringonto the ground. Its terrible if we still do it.

但是现在，很多人都在破坏环境，比如砍伐树木，在公共墙壁上乱涂乱画，随地扔垃圾。如果我们继续这样下去是非常可怕的。

Now, its time for all the people in the society to protect the environment. Its our duty. It needs each of us to make a contribution to improving the environment. We should make our environment more and more beautiful.

现在，是人们保护环境的时候了，这是我们的义务，我们都要为改善环境做贡献，我们应该努力让我们的环境变得更好。

1.进一步加强理论学习，更新教学理念，抽出时间学习新理论，以先进的教育理念指导自己的教育教学实践，本学期要学习有关有效教学资料以及改进评价内容和评价方法的资料，努力做到关注学生学业成就的同时，还要关注学生情感态度、行为方式的发展，注重培养学生综合实践的能力，全面提高学生的素质。

2.进一步落实与深化教学常规，聚焦常态课堂，打造高效课堂。按计划上好公开课，要求集体备课，及时评课，找出不足，共同学习，共同促进，以学生的主体作用为重点来实现高效课堂。同时，带领大家力求做到有效备课、有效上课、有效作业、有效培优补差，鼓励成员充分发挥教学特长，有效提高教学效率。

3.加强集体备课仍是本学期教研组工作的重点，因此要做到有计划、有目标、有实效，不走形式，各备课组本学期至少活动五次以上，时间固定，围绕主题，并有活动记录。以集体力量、集体智慧来提高全组成员的业务水平和教育教学能力。

4.初三备考是重中之重，加强初三毕业班工作的研究，提高毕业班教学效率，组织全组成员认真学习《中考说明》、《导引》和中考试卷分析材料，加强对中考动向的信息收集和试题研究。抓好听、说、读、写综合技能的培养，特别注重学生阅读、写作和应试能力的训练，力争顺利打响中考第一仗，争创中考英语成绩新辉煌。

5.加强科研文化建设，让研究成为习惯。研究能改变教师的生存状态，努力创设研究文化。本学期积极响应学校的科教研活动，开展一系列有关有效备课专题的活动：听说课的有效备课、阅读课的有效备课、复习课的有效备课。

6.继续建设本学科的资源库。建立学科的资源库，确实是一个利人利己的好举措。不断地添入新的资源，不断优化和建设资源库。

7.继续开展多样的学生活动，吸引学生的眼球,使学生更关注英语学习，营造有利于学生健康成长的学习环境。

总之，在校长室、教研室的带领下，我们英语组全体组员会开拓进取，不断完善自己，将教学质量放首位，为学校的教育事业贡献力量。
