society.Take the Wenchuan Earthquake as an example.Hundreds of thousands of

volunteers play an active role in Wenchuan quake-hit areas.And they contribute

daily necessaries,offer medical help and psychological help to the disaster

relief work.

Besides,volunteering would be beneficial to the volunteers

themselves~Getting involved in volunteering,volunteers will be exposed to a new

environment,and they can learn how to work well in a team,how to improve their

interpersonal skills and organizational skills，all of which are critical for

their professional growth。As a college student,I sincerely hope that everyone

现在请看看你身边的人吧!看看他们现在已经有多少人顺利和眼镜成为了密不可分的“好朋友”，难道他们是因为学问太深导致的近视?不，这都是因为过度用眼，没有节制的使用眼睛所导致的，眼睛在他们的想法中，似乎只是用来看电视、玩游戏、提供娱乐的道具!而那些渴望光明的人呢?他们只能用自己仅有的嗅觉、听觉和触觉来感受自然，他们是那样的渴望光明，因为他们知道：拥有光明是快乐的!如果他们有了一双明亮的双眼，他们一定会把它当做上帝赐予的最珍贵的礼物，而一些正常人认为眼睛安在脸上是理所应当的，他们根本就没有想过没有光的日子是有多么的难过。

所以，大家一定要保护好自己的“心灵之窗”，做到以下几点：

(1)读书写字姿势端正。做到：眼与书本一尺远;胸与桌子距一拳;笔尖与手一寸远。

(2)学习环境光线正常。在光线太强或太弱的环境下学习，会加重眼睛的负担。

(3)每天睡眠时间充足。熬夜学习会使眼睛过度疲劳。

(4)少使用有辐射的电器。随着科学技术的发展， 人们过长时间使用电脑、手机，眼睛受到过多的辐射，从而形成近视眼，这是导致发病升高的又一重要原因。

(5)每天坚持做眼保健操。使眼部得到充分的休息。

calendar, it is a folk festival having a history of more than two thousand

years. Also, it is one of the most important festivals in China.

As for the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, there are many beautiful

legends, of which the story about Qu Yuan is most widely accepted. Qu Yuan, a

Chinese poet who loved his country deeply, drowned himself in the Miluo River

after his country’s being defeated. To honor him, people in China hold various

activities every year, including eating zongzi and dragon boat racing.
