前不久，爸爸妈妈给我买了一套《红楼梦》连环画。我可高兴了!一有空我就拿来看，简直爱不释手。

《红楼梦》原名叫《石头记》，是清朝著名文学家曹雪芹写的。《红楼梦》写的是家财万贯的贾家，经过了一连串的打击，终于像薛家一样，一败不起。

在荣国府里，贾母日夜祈祷，也没能挽救贾府衰败的命运，到头来：凤姐病死，宝玉生病，黛玉病死，……最后自己也伤心地离开了人世。

早知如此，何必当初呢?

薛家因薛蟠倚财仗势打死人，案子由应天府审理。薛家花了不少钱去打发官府，使薛蟠逍遥法外。薛蟠整日花天酒地，挥霍无度，最后弄了个家破人亡，一败不起。

我要问贾府的人们，平平安安的过日子不好吗?非要把自己打扮成西施，住的屋子像皇宫，有个三妻四妾吗?

仗势欺人，看着别人痛苦，你们却哈哈大笑，这样不好!不能因为你们家财万贯而去欺负平民，不能因为要升官发财而不顾天理。

为什么不做个好官?为什么不做个好人?不就是图那几个钱么?有钱也不代表有了一切呀!像一些农民，他们在金钱上确实十分贫穷，物质上十分贫乏，但他们在精神上并不贫穷，他们的生活过得很快乐很充实。

所以，我要告诫我自己和我身边的人们：不要过于追求所谓的”奢侈“生活，那样，你在一些方面变得富裕的同时，你就会在另一方面变得很贫穷。

最近闲来无事，重看了《伊索寓言》。这是我接触的比较早的书，那时觉得挺好看的，现在也是，但多了些疑惑。我不是质疑权威，只是想表明一些自己的看法。

第一个寓言是《狐狸和荆棘》。狐狸窜上篱笆，滑了一下，快要跌下来的时候，他抓住荆棘求救，不料刺破了脚，直流血，疼得要命。他对荆棘说：“哎呀，我逃到你这里，是要你救我一把。”荆棘说：“朋友，你抓住我求救是个错误，我是习惯了看见东西就刺的。”

寓意：谁向生来作恶的人求救，谁就是傻瓜。

我的看法：荆棘生来就满身是刺，那是用来自卫的，怎么可以说是用来作恶?荆棘若没有了刺，就是柔弱的茎，那就很容易被吃掉，被伤害。何为作恶?是别人不侵犯你，你主动侵犯别人。荆棘并未主动去刺狐狸，那就构不成作恶。而且，狐狸若不抓住荆棘，那就会摔得粉身碎骨，现在至少命保住了。跟死亡相比，受伤算是幸运了。被救了一命，狐狸应该怀有感恩之心，不应有埋怨。狐狸只不过求救的方法不得当，也不至于是傻瓜。我觉得这则寓言有点奇怪，说不出寓意。难道在古希腊荆棘是被认作作恶之物么?

海伦·凯勒作家写的《假如给我三天光明》，里面的嗜书如命，看了我感到惊讶极了，我深深地被作者的学习精神感动了，而且我还看到了她的内心世界都是美好的，还看到了海伦只想给她三天光明就很感激了。

每次，我星期六写完作业的话，我就会问妈妈，能不能看电视，妈妈每次都叫我看了，可是，我从来都没有想过，要多看课外书要多学习更加的知识，也从来没想过要嗜书如命。看到像海伦·凯勒这样的看不见也听不着的都嗜书如命的，我惭愧了，于是我也慢慢地喜欢看书了。

海伦·凯勒认为世界都是美好的，我也这样认为的，小鸟叽叽喳喳的叫着，太阳普照着大地，阳光温暖的抚摸着我们的小手，微风轻轻的拂着我的脸庞……

对了，海伦·凯勒19个月大时，她失去了视力和听力，所以她想像着只要给上天给她三天光明，第一天她看到她的老师，第二天她想看日出，第三天看到某某东西。

我知道，如果我们只要有一天看不见，那觉得天要塌下来了一样，而她只想要三天三夜的光明。所以时间对每个人来说，都是很宝贵的。以后我一定要珍惜时间。

俄国作家奥斯特洛夫斯基的笔下写就一本不朽的名著《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，捧读这本书时，不禁油然而生的是对书中主人公保尔柯察金的崇敬之情，他的坚韧不拔的性格、对待革命真诚的态度、以及英勇无比的勇气都深深地折服了我。

保尔出生在一个贫苦的铁路工人家庭，从小顽皮、天真，有着强烈的抗争精神和不屈的意志，他从一个老师头疼的坏孩子，在朱赫来的引领下，走上了革命的道路。他十分勇敢，有次执行任务遇到危险时，他奋不顾身地从敌人手上将朱赫来解救了，可不幸自己却被捕了。为此，他受到了百般的折磨和严刑拷打，保尔都挺过去了。战场上的保尔更是不惧牺牲，英勇杀敌，屡次受伤，屡立战功。因为右眼失明的原因，保尔离开了心爱的战场，投身到生产建设的队伍中来。条件依然艰苦，他与共青团员们一起，边搞建设，边与寒冷、饥饿的自然环境，以及敌人不时的偷袭作斗争，即使疾病缠身，保尔也轻易不下火线，直至累倒在工地上。在病榻上，保尔想的是尽快回到工地。

奥斯特洛夫斯基作家所刻画的保尔是一位忠心耿耿，时刻忠于党和人民的人，为了革命的胜利，他愿意舍弃自己的生命。这不禁也让我联想起了中国的革命历程，也同样有毛泽东伟人领导下的红军战士，无数的革命先烈，他们不惜抛头颅、洒热血，为了革命的胜利，舍弃了自己宝贵的生命。他们和保尔一样，都是值得尊敬和感恩的英雄。

保尔的坚持不懈精神，不放弃、不服输的坚毅品质，他相信只要持续的努力，革命一定会成功。这样的精神，作为当下，依然是值得学习和推崇的。

细细品读这本书，有不少片段使我深受感动。如列图诺夫师长不幸牺牲时，保尔奋不顾身冲向敌群中拼杀，丝毫没有关注自己的安危，不幸被霰弹击中，甩到马下;在狱里，敌人对他拳打脚踢，他依然守口如铁，他用自己的实际行动来证实是一名优秀的共产主义战士……

保尔是有血有肉的人，他也有我们一样的成长阶段，小时也是一名让老师伤透心的“差学生“，做过不少调皮的事情，还被停过学。在懵懂成长的过程中，他遇到了欣赏他的朱赫来，在他的正确引导下，保尔一步步健康地发展，成长为能为国家做出贡献的人。在我们周围，也有大伙看来调皮的同学，因为不喜欢而远离他们，其实我们不应该疏远和歧视他们，应该帮助他们树立正确的观念，友好相助，关心他们，让他们也成长为受同学们欢迎的人。所以我认为，只要有一个正确的人生方向和引导，每个人都会成功的。

保尔之所以成为钢铁般的人，因为他有目标，并且能为了这个目标不懈的努力。假如你也明白了这些道理，相信你也会百炼成钢。

我读过许多名著，但《西游记》是我最喜欢读的，它是一本神话故事，也是四大名著之一。在今年这个特殊的寒假里，我怀着好奇与期盼的心情读完了西游记两本书。

这本书讲述了唐僧师徒四人去西天取经，一路降妖伏魔，经历九九八十一难，终于到达西天见到如来佛祖，取得真经的故事。正是这精彩的故事内容让广大读者都非常喜爱它，使它成为我国四大名著之一。

书里有许多人物，每个人物都被吴承恩写的活灵活现。但我最喜欢的要数“美猴王”孙悟空了，它神通广大，本领高超，一路保护唐僧成功的去西天取得了真经，是我心目中的英雄，而且它身上的这种勇敢的精神也令我十分敬佩。

书里的故事也很有趣，我最喜欢读“车迟国斗法除三妖”这一章。在这一回中唐僧师徒西行来到车迟国，见五百僧人被道众暴力驱使，鬼哭狼嚎。悟空化为道徒，打探情况。原来这里十年前遭遇大旱，国王邀请道士与和尚分别求雨，帮助百姓度过旱灾。道士与和尚求雨斗法，结果道士赢了，当了国师，和尚们却因无法求到雨水，被国王全部监禁。但孙悟空火眼金睛一眼看出，那些能呼风唤雨的道士们竟然是妖怪。道士们在国王面前否认，正好遇见百姓来求雨，为了辨别真伪，于是国王让道士与唐僧师徒斗法。孙悟空凭借智慧，让唐僧与道士们斗法，使三道士露出真面目，原来，三个道士分别是老虎，鹿和羊变的。国王知道后哭的跟泪人一样，孙悟空劝他：“有什么好难过的，他们是妖怪，想来霸占你的国家”，国王这才止住了哭声，准备了素餐感谢唐僧师徒，并放了那些做苦力的和尚。第二天，唐僧师徒告别国王，继续西行。

唐僧师徒执着，不畏艰险，坚持不懈的精神值得我们学习。再想想自己做事总是半途而废，我不禁感到惭愧。我决心以后不论做什么事都要有始有终，持之以恒。

故事中的十六回中的片段，让我记忆深刻。大概讲述了吕布邀请了纪灵和刘备前来参会，酒会刚一半吕布让他两家各自会营不再打仗。纪念和张飞的“舌斗”，使吕布决定帮助刘备。他说：“只要我一百五十步外射中小枝，你俩家各自退兵。”刘备心中暗暗希望吕布射中。便见吕布慢慢踱步到庭院中，一手拿起箭，一手拉满弓，嘴里叫一声声“着!”，之间箭就飞出弓外，眨眼间射中150步远的小枝。

假如我是刘备。第一，我兵力不足。第二，敌方入兵杀来，我不情愿，也只能硬战。第三，我希望吕布射中，这样就避免了双方的厮杀，老百姓的无畏牺牲。

假如我是纪灵。第一，我觉得吕布射不中。第二，就算他射不中，我方军力也很十足，这样很容易就灭了刘备。

假如我是吕布。第一，我希望各自两方不要战争。第二，我不想得罪两家中的任何一家。第三，我要帮助刘备且我有这个本事。

读了这本书，我的感想：儿时的我只会画出那吕布，觉得帅气。而且我只能用画笔让自己感到他的英勇。而此时的我，读了那么多真实的故事，真正地从作者文字中了解了吕布的形象。书中自有颜如玉，书中自有黄金屋啊!

Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre. But my first impression of this story was from screen.

Its long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I dont remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. Its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didnt think shes beautiful. But shes smart. However, I didnt pay much attention to the plot. I thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I havent read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find where s the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. Im a prejudiced person so I cant find wheres wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody or something,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. Im a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didnt think its wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So its individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he cant ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Individuality is different from prejudice. What is it? I need to think more.

圣母院副主教弗罗洛也爱上了美丽的爱斯梅拉达，但是他与卡西莫多的爱却有着天壤之别，弗罗洛披着神职人员的神圣光环，道貌岸然，内心却因冲突无法自拔，直至灵魂扭曲、充满了邪恶的毁灭欲，最终毁灭了爱斯梅拉达，也毁灭了自己。雨果以悲天悯人的姿态深刻剖析了这个人物阴暗扭曲的灵魂。

今天，我读了中国古代四大名著小说之一《红楼梦》，它是经典的作品，我读后，感触很深，全书102回，前八十回由曹雪芹所作，后四十回据说是高鹗续写。《红楼梦》又名《石头记》，《金玉缘》，以贾，王，史，薛四大家族的兴衰为背景，以贾宝玉和林黛玉的爱情故事为主线，围绕两个主要任务的感情纠葛，描写了大观园内外青年男女的爱情故事。通过这些爱情悲剧反映当时封建社会的法律，道德，婚姻等方面的社会问题。

我最喜欢里面的人物是凤辣子——王熙凤，她精明能干，做事认真，性格爽朗，是事业型的女强人，我崇拜她。里面描写的人物生动细腻，栩栩如生，让人觉得他们就生活在我们周围。也反映出中国深厚的文化底蕴，作为新时代的小学生，我们要努力学习，研究学习中国古典文化，让中国文化在全世界发扬光大。

真好！暑假里，我有大把时间来读好书了。

首先读《三国演义》。书中描写了一些气势磅礴的战争场景，栩栩如生的人物形象，真是令我回味无穷，爱不释手。最是刻入脑海的人物当属关羽关云长了，他是一位纯爷们，成了我的偶像。

我崇拜他威武强壮的形象。关羽，身长九尺，鬓长二尺，面如重枣，唇若涂脂，丹凤眼，卧蚕眉。手持青龙偃月刀，足跨赤兔千里马。好一个相貌堂堂，威风凛凛的“美髯公”！

现在社会，年轻一代人的审美观有些特别，总推崇面若桃花，眼似葡萄，身如拂柳的“仙气”形象，男生也要施粉绣眉，看起来很娘，缺少男子汉应有的阳刚之气。了解了关羽后，我端正了我的审美观，觉得男生就应该有纯爷们的范。身为男生，就应该锻炼好强壮的身体，能吃苦耐劳，不撒娇取宠，有担当。

我崇拜他武艺高强。温酒斩华雄，斩颜良，诛文丑，过五关，斩六将，大敌当前无所畏惧。啧啧，不愧号称“武圣”啊！

正所谓“没有精钢钻，不揽瓷器活”，关羽之所以如此从容有信心战胜强敌，都是因为他平日里苦心练习武艺，善于学习兵法。我们小学生现在正处在学习阶段，吃够学习的苦才能获得智慧和技能，将来才有机会崭露头角，兼济天下。

我最崇拜的是他多么地忠义。当他被曹操所俘获，勉强答应留下，心里想的却是大哥，当有了大哥的消息，曹操怎么也留不住他。他过五关，斩六将，追随刘备而去。

生而为人，忠字当头。我们要有忠于国家，忠于家庭的信念。想到这，我不免想起国士钟南山，二十年前非典肆虐他六十多岁一马当先，救人民于死神之手；如今新冠猖獗他八十多岁，毅然逆行以身筑起抵挡在死神与人民之间的高墙。还有疫情中、洪水中奋不顾身为了别人拼命的人，他们都是忠义当先的可敬可爱之人。

我还崇拜他有着钢铁的意志。当他中了箭毒时，请华佗刮骨疗伤。他不绑手，不蒙眼，华佗用刀割开皮肉，将骨上箭毒刮去。血呼呼往下流，而他却仍与马良谈笑风生的下棋。这是怎样的铁打的身躯钢铁的意志呀！真爷们！

关羽，就是这样一个武艺高强、义薄云天、有万夫不当之勇、顶天立地的纯爷们。他是我的偶像！

Black Beauty, who has changed his name for several times during different periods of lifetime, is a handsome horse with a life full of both happiness and suffering. He has been well trained, so he always tried to behave well. However, then he was sold from one owner to another, he began to realize how tragic his fate is. His life story has moved all the readers deeply. The author started this story by Black Beauty describing his memory about his happy childhood, when he was accompanied by his mother and taught to be a good horse. At the age of 2, Black Beauty witnessed an accident of hunting for a hare, which caused the rider falling from the horse, dead. Later that wounded horse was killed. And at the age of 4, Black Beauty was old enough to begin the use of saddle, bridle, carriage harness and shoes. Then he was sent to Birtwick Park and named of Black Beauty by Mrs. Gordon. What’s more, Jerry’s families were all kind-hearted, which made Black Beauty happy to bear the hard work of pulling a cab every day. By chance, he met Ginger. She was mistreated as a cab horse; in such a great pain that she was longing for death. And soon, it came true. At the same time, Jerry became weaker and weaker, and finally he was ill in bed after waiting for two customers on a bitter cold night. After his recovery, Jerry was told not to work as s cab driver any more, so Black Beauty was sold again.

Black Beauty’s new owner, a corn dealer, was kind to him, but the dealer’s foreman, Jakes, often overworked the horse and used the bearing rein. Once advertised by a kind lady, Jakes was easier on Black Beauty. However, the dark stables nearly made Black Beauty blind. After sold to work as a cab horse again, Beauty was too old and too weak. Once he was exhausted because of the heavy load. Saved from being put down by a doctor, Beauty found a new owner, a farmer. With full effort, he rejuvenated Beauty and sold him to Miss Ellen and Miss Blomefield. To Beauty’s surprise, he met Joe Green there. Form then on, Black Beauty began a happy life at his last home.

After reading this book, one may admire Black Beauty’s strong will, persistence, and loyalty, or feel sympathetic on him and feel happy for him to get a happy ending. However, it needs our deeper thinking, a much deeper thinking. In fact, Sewell doesn’t only focus on showing Black Beauty’s great characteristics. By telling Black Beauty’s whole life story, she aimed at revealing the hard life of animals at that time and altering us the crime of those who abuse animals.

From Beauty’s suffering during his whole life time, we can see the tragic life of animals at that time. Some people ran after the so-called fashion blindly. In order to satisfy their own vanity，they ignored animals’ great pain. For example, Sir Oliver’s shortened tail. What the so-called fashion gave animals is great pain rather than a beautiful appearance. Some people knew nothing about how to keep animals, and were always making them work all day long. They abused the animals to make as much money as possible until they died. Therefore, on the day when the animals died, their holiday was on the way. For example, the poor Ginger that died for overwork. Though some people kept animals well, their main purpose was to have fun and to show off. They were more abominable. For example, in order to hunt for a hare, the rider killed himself at last and caused the wounded horse’s death. As Beauty said, it wasn’t worthwhile, wasn’t it? Those people who abuse d animals showed no sympathy or love on the poor animals at all. When they needed animals, they kept animals; when they didn’t need animals, they killed animals ruthlessly. To them, all animals were toys, from which they could make fun, or tools, from which they could make money. And the fate of animals at that time, like horses, was being sold from one owner to another, experiencing different kinds of suffering in the whole life. From the standpoint of animals, it must be terrible to be sold again and again.

Let’s see what the result is. Sir Oliver got great annoyance and discomfort because of its shortened tail. Ginger was ill-tempered and bit others often. What’s more, numerous animals died because of over work. What a tragedy！

In fact, the abuse of animals not only happened in the past, but also today, maybe right at this moment, a civilized age. Years ago, I got to know that a few girls cut down a cat’s feet, and then threw it on the street, leaving it bleeding to death. And the year before, it was reported that a student from QingHua University, gave black bears sulfate to drink, which gave black bears a great pain. As to the facts that some old or sick animals are abandoned, it has been very common. Although some organizations aiming at protecting animals have been set up, the abuse of animals can not be prevented. Maybe nowadays the abuse of animals was caused by life pressure, but life pressure can not be an excuse to abuse animals. Those people who live under life pressure should find other ways to solve the problem, but not avoid it by hurting animals.

However, if one can treat animals kindly, the result will be different. Kind people who love animals, such as Mrs. Gordon, Joe, Jerry, get animals’ love and respect in return. As they were friendly to horses, horses are friendly to them and would like to do as much work as they can for them, even sacrifice themselves when their owners were in danger.

I am sure, animals and human can become good friends. No animals will do harm to human, if human have not frightened them first. If you would like to try to have a close and friendly touch with animals, whether tigers or dogs, you will find that they are lovely. Its true that we are much cleverer than animals, but our intelligence should not act as the tool to dominant animals. Do not put the “bearing rein” on the animals. It is cruel.

Do not always focus on our own happiness. It is selfish.

Try to open our eyes to animals that are suffering a hard life.

Try to understand The Black Beauty, and the author.

Try to give a hand in ending the abuse of animals.

At last, I want to conclude by a sentence from this book,“there is no religion without love, and people may talk as much as they like about their religion, but if it dose not teach them to be good and kind to other animals as well as humans, it is all a shame”

我想到了教科书中曾学到过的布鲁斯王子，为抵抗外国的侵略，屡败屡战，最终胜利。这正说明了“有志者事竟成”的道理。我一直坚信，有梦就要坚持去努力，持之以恒就会成功。

我喜欢画画，已经坚持画了三年，每次我都会早早地来到老师家上课。老师会教我们许多画画的技巧，我总是一笔一画认真地学着。记得有一次，老师让我们画在听音乐的大白鹅。我们照着老师的临摹。我觉的画得很像，再和老师的一比，差远啦!怎么办？只能重画了。于是我拿起画笔，先打好轮廓，然后再细心勾线。就在这时已经有同学画好了，我有些焦躁不安，不是勾弯了就是勾错了。这时，老师看出了我的心思，一边教我画，一边语重心长地对我说: “画画需要细致和耐心，别气馁，你也能画出栩栩如生的大白鹅。”老师的话给了我坚持的动力。终于，一幅惟妙惟肖的画出炉了。为了早日达到老师的要求，我坚持每天练习，画纸用去了一袋又一袋，笔用去了一支又一支，我现在仍坚持在画。

读了《不可不知的世界名人故事》这本书，我受益匪浅，为梦想努力，最终到达梦想巅峰的拿破仑，成为了我的偶像。相信坚持不懈，梦想一定会花开。

在《中外名人故事》中，讲述了很多名人的成长经历，其中，在“中国卷”中我最喜欢诸葛亮！水镜先生出了很多难题，诸葛亮都一一答对了！最后成功地出师了！

我还明白李嘉诚是如何成功的！他不断的变换工作！找到自己在行的工作！再加上不断地努力，让自己获得了今天的成功！

我还十分敬佩李时珍！在小时候大胆的给人开药单，还读了十分多的医学书，看到很多老百姓不懂得用草药，他用了41年，写了一本《本草纲目》，让老百姓也懂得如何用医、用药。

在“外国卷”中，我十分喜欢牛顿，在他的学习中，发生了很多有趣的趣事！牛顿在煮鸡蛋是把鸡蛋当成了手表，和朋友玩时，拿个东西，却去做实验了！

一个个名人在这本书上都让我认识了！我要向他们学习！做一个对社会有贡献的人。

I have recently read Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother published by The Penguin Press in 2011. This autobiography was written by the Chinese American woman Amy Chua, a tenured professor in Yale Law School. She causes a sensation because her strict but unique parenting which brings excellent performance of her two daughters.

This autobiography tells the course of Amy Chua how she raised the two daughters in Chinese parenting way. It is divided into three parts. At the first part, it gives some introductions of the two daughters, the family. And in the second and third parts, the writer tells more details in the process of raising her two different daughters and the difficulties she was confronted in the process, and most importantly the success the daughters achieved in music which brought Amy Chua pride as well as the whole family.

To some extent, I don’t like Amy’s parenting in some aspects. In my opinion, she deprived the nature of children and pushed too much pressure on their children, especially on Lulu who was under the shadow of her excellent elder daughter—Sophia. While I was reading the third part in the rebellion part, I couldn’t control my own emotion, I felt what Lulu felt and even hated against her selfish and autocratic mother. I couldn’t understand why Amy didn’t let Lulu get up from sit, for water, not even to go to the bathroom when Lulu just wanted a rest during the long hours’ practice of violin. She made Lulu practice violin all day during the family’s vacation abroad. She spoiled the vacation by letting the other family members waiting the practice. She was unreasonable.

But next what I do is to admire her.

There is an old Chinese saying “property can never last for three generations”。 But Amy Chua did change it! Her parents came to U.S and suffered a tough life at the very beginning. They taught Amy math and piano in an extreme strict way when she was a kid. Under the influence of her parents, now Amy is frugal and pretty strict with her daughters and herself. They are the valuable points of her. Although she is so extreme on her parenting, she has the advisable ideas that the parents and the parents to be to learn.

Firstly, as parents, they couldn’t ignore their children and put all focus on their job. There is no excuse for not concerning their children. Except supervising her daughters, Amy Chua has to give lessons in university, write books and handle the family chores. She is so busy, but she doesn’t ignore the daughters.

Secondly, parents should be strict with their children especially when they are kids because kids lack of self-control. They should not indulge their children in internet or sleepovers.

Thirdly, parents should master some skills in parenting. As a matter of fact, there are so many Chinese parents who are strict with their children with no avail of success. Success can’t be totally copied, because some parents ignore the skills in parenting. When their children don’t follow their will or perform well enough to satisfy them, they will lose their temper and even beat their children, yes, of course, Amy Chua will be mad but she won’t beat her daughters, in this condition, she will be sober and wait until her daughters perform well enough. She learnt some music knowledge in her children’s class and supervised them patiently. She knew where to correct the mistakes and gave the children extraordinary success.

Tiger mother aroused a big heat in parenting and threw such an important issue for us to think about. Battle Hymn of Tiger Mother gives us really some enlightenment. Anyway, that’s a really unique experience in reading this book.
