And Catherine, daughter of the house, found in him the perfect companion: wild, rude, and as proud and cruel as she. But although Catherine loves him, even recognizes him as her soulmate, she cannot lower herself to marry so far below her social station. She instead marries another, and in so doing sets in motion an obsession that will destroy them all.

He went for walks with them or Rose read to him and he worked hard at his lessons. He felt as if he had left behind forever the world of crime and hardship and poverty. How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens-he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I don’t think goodness is omnipotent yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded. For me the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodness is to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. On the contrary as the famous saying goes ‘The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose’ he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

首先，我很喜欢路遥的出发点：平凡的世界。他的世界是平凡的，这只是黄土高原上几千几万座村落中的一座。从小处着眼，作者刻画出一个个普通人物平凡的人生旅程，衬托日新月异的时代变迁，反映人们的思想，给人以亲近，给人以启迪。但路遥却在平凡中看到了他的主人公的不平凡。比如说孙少平，我认为孙少平这个人物是全篇文字的主线，通过他的成长和成熟的经历，展现给大家面前的是那个时代整整一代人对生活的憧憬与无奈。他受过了高中教育，他经过自学达到可与大学生进行思想探讨的程度。战胜困难，摆脱束缚，让人们对美好生活的向往，如何的体会生活中间的亲情、友情、爱情，学会生活，懂得珍惜，对于我们这一代人，也是一种警醒。在路遥的世界中出现的都是平凡的人物，正是在这些平凡的人物里他描写着人性中的善与美，丑与恶。在他的世界里，人的最大的优点就是认识到自己是平凡的。这点从孙少平身上得到最突出的体现。他认识到了平凡，也选择了平凡。

平凡的人生，从平凡中而来地繁衍生息，你能看到的，就是苦难中的信心，不能夺走的盼望，永不止息的爱，平凡中的苦涩，以及今生的骄傲。

第一次捧起那本散发着淡淡墨香的《红楼梦》时，有种前所未有的满足感，想把它彻底看明白。

故事讲的是一个家族的兴衰，一个家族的大小故事。主人公为贾宝玉，他应该说来是一个柔中稍稍带刚的男子，他的柔有部分是因为环境所致，他们家上上下下几乎都是女性，掌管全家的也全是女子，自然而然地就应了一句话“近朱者赤，近墨者黑”。他们的家族是因为家中一女子进宫当了皇帝的宠妃而盛起，于是他们天天吟诗作乐，而其中又有两女子非提不可，那便是薛宝钗和林黛玉。林黛玉生性猜忌，多愁善感，可贾宝玉偏偏就是喜欢她，她身子弱，老祖宗看不上她，便骗贾宝玉与薛宝钗成亲，林黛玉闻讯气死，而当贾宝玉揭开喜帕发现并非林黛玉，而林黛玉又身亡，悲痛欲绝，出家当了和尚。

尽管看过了，但是书中有的描述还是演员不能及的，还是被书中所描述的传奇故事所吸引。居然描写的那么好，其中的一些经典场景当然让我难忘。如，黛玉葬花、湘云醉卧、晴雯撕扇、宝钗扑蝶、宝玉挨打等等。

我最喜欢黛玉葬花这个场景了。这个场景不仅把林黛玉的性情描绘得栩栩如生，而且也为读者刻画了一个自爱自怜喜爱花的一个林黛玉。林黛玉是很爱惜花的，觉得花落以后埋在土里最干净，也可以看出林黛玉对于美与他人有不同的独特见解，她也写了葬花吟，以花喻自己，把贾府及整个封建的社会比做污浊，她不甘沉灭，又无力摆脱封建恶势力。怜花就是怜自己，她看到鲜花的凋零就仿佛看到了自己的将来。这首葬花吟也是其中最凄美的诗歌之一。

林黛玉在贾府中，虽有宝玉的照顾，贾母的疼爱，但按照当时的礼教观念，毕竟是外孙，寄人篱下的滋味还是有的，父母双亡，无人做主，孤苦一人，又兼其性格的悲观，总觉风刀霜剑严相逼，自怜之心常在，见落花而感身世，不觉满目凄凉。

贾宝玉与林黛玉的爱情看了很让人心疼，但是事实就是如此，他们最后并没有在一起。但是，我相信他们一定会更幸福的，他们会彼此记得对方，记住他们凄美动人的故事。其实爱情就是很短暂的，至少这横刀截断的爱情给了我们很多美好的幻想和期待，，他是她生命中最美的回忆，是唯一。

总之，这本书给我带来了很多，不仅仅是阅读上的满足，也使我进一步了解了当时的封建社会，还是比较有收获的。

最近在网上有幸拜读了雷夫。艾斯奎斯的《第56号教室的奇迹》这部作品，一个普通的最基层的教师，竟然获得了总统颁发的“国家艺术奖章”，感动了整个美国社会，我充满了好奇。因此我用心的品读着《第56号教室的奇迹》，自己的内心不时的被感动、共鸣充斥着：雷夫的教育历程和教育信念是那样熟悉而新颖;雷夫的教育观点和信念是那样独特与执着。他的成长经历，对于我们每一个教师都非常有借鉴意义。他的独特的教育方式和班级管理形式，值得我们实践和探讨。它就像一面镜子，告诉我们在我们的教育实践生活中，在什么地方做的不对，哪里需要改进，哪里可以做得更好。读的过程中，我发现雷夫老师对孩子的爱，在书中随处可见，充分体现了“爱是教育的根本”，没有爱，便没有教育。

雷夫。艾斯奎斯在自序中写着：“像所有真正的老师一样，我经常失败。我睡眠不足，我在凌晨时分躺在床上睡不着，为着一个我无力教育的孩子而感到极度痛苦。当一个老师，真的会很痛苦。”我读到这句话的时候，我十分好奇。因为他已经是个非常优秀的教师了，身上已经被照上了许多美丽的光环，但他依然能把自己心底里的话真实地表达出来，这让我既好奇又崇拜，一下子我的内心就产生了强烈的阅读愿望，有一种很想要去阅读它的心理需求，

是因为我从这本来自大洋彼岸的、以前从未知晓的教师的书中，竟然读到那么多熟悉的东西。一直以为，中美两国的教育差异巨大，以为我们在教育中的种.种现实问题人家不存在，甚至以为人家的教育价值观、思维方式都和我们不一样。这本书却让我第一次知道，那个教师在校园中遇到的种.种，和我遇到过的差不多;那个教师在教学和学生相处中产生的困惑，在我们的校园中也正困扰着一些教师;而那个教师对教育的理解，对教育价值观的剖析，其实都可以来我们这里进行一番验证;读完这本书，我最大的感受，也是自己最想说的一句话就是：这真的是一本好书!

阅读中我总是不由自主地发出轻轻叹息：“教师原来可以这样来当，原来可以做得这样好!”他在洛杉矶市中心一间会漏水的小教室年复一年地教同一个年龄段的学生长达20多年，这间教室被称之为56号教室。他创新的教育方式，把孩子变成热爱学习的天使;他热情的教育态度，把教室变成温暖的家。第56号教室的孩子大多贫困，来自移民家庭，英语也不是他们的母语，这些似乎注定平凡的学生却在一个充满爱心与智慧的老师的培养下，成绩优异，长大后纷纷就读于哈佛、斯坦福等顶尖大学并取得不凡成就。正因为一些孩子，他们有幸从这间教室走过，他们的人生，因此改变了走向，改变了高度……从他的身上我学到了很多，读《第56号教室的奇迹》使我精神上受到了洗礼。“第56号教室”为孩子们打造了一座躲避暴风雨的天堂，第一章中“给我一些真相”里面讲述的故事，在我的教育生活中也曾遇到，但我比艾里克斯的老师幸运，孩子的家长并没有找到学校来找我算账。其实，现在看来我和那位老师犯了同一个错误，就是错失了一个绝佳的教育机会，对这个孩子造成了伤害。如果当时，我像雷夫对待丽莎一样，那事情会有另外一种结局，也许这个男孩自己就会不好意思的来向我承认他撒谎了，也可能以后都会完成作业，或许……

随着教学年龄的增长，我已不再那么冲动，学会用积极的态度与耐心来面对问题，处理事情时能够经常站在学生的立场去想，建立了与学生的信任，平和、友善、诚实、公正而又通情达理的对待每个人、每件事，尽力为学生营造一个像家一样的避风港。我学会了为学生的良好学习习惯多做加法，以此激励学生，带动其他的学生来竞争，而不是处处针对他们的缺点做减法，努力成为一个令人喜爱的老师。通过对《第56号教室的奇迹》的研读，我还明白了，不管是教导学生还是子女，一定要时时从孩子的角度看事情，不要把害怕当作教育的捷径。第56号教室之所以特别，不是因为它拥有什么，而是因为它缺乏了这样的东西——害怕。雷夫老师用信任取代恐惧，做孩子可以依赖的依靠，讲求纪律、公平，并且成为孩子的榜样。正如他所说的：“孩子们以你为榜样。你要他们做到的，自己要先做到。我要我的学生和气待人、认真勤勉，那么我最好就是他们所认识的人之中最和气待人、最认真勤勉的一个。”

这本书让我深深的感动，书，还在品读;收获，却很多很多。我一定要向雷夫老师学习，做一个有爱心的老师。我真诚的祝愿所有的老师都能够开心、快乐地工作，所有的孩子都能够快乐的学习、茁壮的成长，成为社会的栋梁!

今年寒假，我读了美国著名作家海明威的小说《老人与海》。我十分佩服小说中老渔夫的意志，他让我懂得了一个人定要有坚持不懈的精神才有可能成功。

“一艘船越过世界的尽头，驶向未知的大海，船头上悬挂着一面虽然饱经风雨侵蚀却依旧艳丽无比的旗帜，旗帜上舞动的云龙一般的四个字闪闪发光——超越极限。”作者海明威是这样评价他的作品《老人与海》的。

小说塑造了一个经典硬汉形象，古巴的一个名叫桑地亚哥的年近六旬的老渔夫，这是一次单身出海打鱼时，在一无所获的84天之后，钓到了第一条大鱼，老渔夫同鱼周旋了两天后才发现这是一条超过自己渔船数倍的大马林鱼，虽然明知很难取胜，但绝不放弃，与拖着小船游了整整两天两夜，老人经历了前所未有的艰难考验，终于把大马林鱼刺死在船头，而大马林鱼伤口上的鱼腥味却引来了好多群鲨鱼抢食，老人又与鲨鱼进行了殊死搏斗，在遇到鲨鱼的第五次袭击后，大马林鱼还是被鲨鱼吃光了，让他驾驶小船回到港口时，只剩下了一副大白骨架。

刚开始我不明白为什么如此坚强的人却会面临失败的结局，当我再阅读时，我恍然大悟，用小说中的话来说：一个人并不是生来就要被打败的，人可以被毁灭，但绝不能被打败，这表明了海明威的人生观和价值观。人生在世，每个人都会有缺点，每个人都可能面临失败，让一个认真尝试着去做好一件事情去战胜对手，重要的并不在于结果，也不在于成功和失败。只要他曾经奋斗过，努力过，那么它就是一个强者，就是一个胜利者 。

从表面看，老渔夫他是可悲的，并且不是最后的胜利者，因为尽管他捕获了大马林鱼，但是最终大马林鱼还是让鲨鱼吃了，只是带着大马林鱼的白骨架子回到了岸上，也就是说鲨鱼才是胜利者，可是老渔夫并不可怜，并不可悲。在海明威的世界里，只有这拥有真正向艰难困境挑战的人，才配拥有胜利的荣誉称号，而老渔夫正拥有了这些。

同时我也很喜欢那里面的那个孩子，在老人困难时给予帮助，在受伤时给予医药，在伤心时给予安慰……他是一个真正善良的人。

掩卷沉思，《老人与海》给的启示真的太多了!

爷爷给我买了一本《成语故事》书，才看了几页，我就被它精彩的内容深深吸引了。

成语是中华人民特有的语言表达方式，成语故事以通俗易懂的小故事说明了许多做人做事的道理，体现了古人的聪明才智。

《成语故事》这本书主要分为历史成语故事、神话成语故事和寓言成语故事三类。如：《破釜沉舟》、《画龙点睛》、《守株待兔》。其中我非常喜欢《守株待兔》这个成语故事。它讲的是古时候，有个农民因为天气太热，干完了农活在大树下休息。突然一只兔子从远处奔过来，一头撞死在树干上。农夫见到，高兴地把兔子拎回家，美美吃了一顿。从此，他再也不干农活，天天坐在树下等兔子，结果不但没等到兔子，庄稼却死光了。

从这个成语故事中，我懂得了学习和做事都要脚踏实地，不能总守着以前的一点点经验，世上没有不劳而获的事，只有通不断的努力才能有所收获。

《成语故事》这本书不仅让我开阔了视野，增加了不少历史知识，更让我懂得了许多道理，从中得到启示。

轻轻地合上书，闭上眼睛，脑海里便浮现出两个影子……

一个叫祥子，生活在社会的底层，做一个毫不起眼的洋车夫。虽是如此，但他却不同于别的车夫，他老实，健壮，肯吃苦，肯出力，他拥有梦想一一拥有一辆自己的车!

另一个也叫祥子，但他迷失了善良和梦想，他的爱，他的希望，都被残酷的社会磨灭了。变得麻木，贪财，潦倒，他，彻底堕落了。

祥子的改变，也许是众多的车夫，下层人民所经历过的。他们生活在一片黑暗之中，阳光无法照进他们的心灵，即便拥有一盏灯，拥有善良，又能改变什么?又能逃脱什么?灯总会燃尽，善良也会被无情的黑暗所吞没。

祥子生在乡间，十八岁的他，独自来到了北京，他选择做一个洋车夫，因为挣钱多，而且他有的是力气，身体也很健壮，拉起车来不仅快，跑法也很漂亮。他有自己的计划，自己的梦想，他要有一辆自己的车，一辆崭新的车!

三年的努力后，这个梦想实现了，他有了一辆属于自己的车，他梦想着还要再买很多辆，开一个车厂子!可是这个梦想又破灭了：他的车在兵荒马乱中丢了!一切归零!

每一个人都被命运掌控着，祥子当然也不例外。三年辛勤换来的车，眨眼间便没有了，等待他的，还会有什么?

祥子丢了车，但没有丢掉他的梦想，他要重新再来，他相信，只要付出辛劳，付出力气，就会有回报，他依然早出晚归地拉车。但是命运却偏偏捉弄祥子，他的积蓄被孙侦探敲诈一空。而他又不得以娶了虎妞。此时的祥子走到了悬崖。虎妞难产，小福子自杀，这一连串的打击使他再也攀不住，坠入深渊。他的希望没有了，梦想也早已随之而去，他失去了一切，只剩下一具空洞的身体。他和众多人一样苟活在这世上。黑暗使祥子迷失了自己，忘记了自己的追求。

“雨下给富人，也下给穷人;下给义人，也下给不义的人。其实，雨并不公道，因为下落在一个没有公道的世界上。”我可怜祥子，生活在黑暗社会中，我又庆幸自己，拥有美好的生活。

被阳光照耀的我们，应该不忘自己的追求，带着一颗善良的心，去实现自己的梦想!让我们永远记住那个勤奋，善良，老实的祥子吧!
