第一个问题：北海的菊花在全文中起什么作用?

文章中出现了三次北海的花。其中包括两次“北海的菊花”。所以，如果只提“北海的菊花”的话，就不包括第一段中的“北海的花”。因为第一段不是秋天，那是什么季节呢?你们再认真读读，想一想。因此，这个问题，老师更正为“北海的花”。这是对问题的修正。请大家注意，发现问题并表述清楚是非常关键的，这是对我们阅读能力和概述能力的综合考验。目前，大家已经能发现一些有意义的话题，但概述能力还不够，还需要加强。这里的“不够”是指你们的语言还不够简练，逻辑还不够严密，表述还不够清晰。

如果说在全文中有什么作用，我的理解是“一条写作线索”或者是“一条红线”。我们通常用“红线”来形容线索，这主要是突出它的重要性。但我们千万不要过分重视“红线”的作用，而忽略作者是用什么方式把不同的材料用这条线索串联起来的。在我看来，作者是用季节的变化来穿起“看花”的话题的。如春季母亲让看花，作者是一种暴怒无常的状态，经历了夏天之后的秋天，母亲又让他看花，作者已经慢慢接受母亲的建议，其实，这也是对自己瘫痪这一事实的接受。但遗憾的是母亲突然离世，让母亲这个心愿没有实现。这也是史铁生终身的遗憾，愧疚，甚至是对母亲的一种罪过。于是，在最后一段中，作者对菊花的描写就格外有生命力。选用了淡雅、高洁、热烈而深沉、泼泼洒洒、烂漫等修饰性词语。这表明在萧杀的秋季，在作者眼中，菊花成为一种生命的象征，成了自己精神获得重生的象征，同时，也透过菊花，作者似乎看到了母亲那种高洁与坚贞的样子，她给自己和妹妹如何面对生活的困境做出了榜样。所以，这段文章非常动人，你们如果有时间，可以好好读读，如果再把母亲的几句话好好揣摩一下，应该有更深的感受的。谢谢这位同学的提问。

第二个问题：第六段环境描写的作用。

这个问题我在第一问题的回答中已经涉及到了，但我还是想从另外一个角度试着回答一下。

首先，我无法确定这段文字就是所谓的“环境描写”。就这篇回忆性散文来说，鉴于目前你们还未真正接触这种文体，如果只用目前的语文知识去“框”它的话，或许不太利于对文章的整体把握和深度理解。所以，这个问题我更愿意修订为“文章最后一段文字对全文表达的特殊意义。”

不知道你们是否还记得老师关注的第一个问题。它是“这篇文章写了几次季节?猜测一下他为什么布局?”文中写了几次季节呢?显然是三次，一次春天，两次秋天。他为什么这样布局呢?因为在我看来，作者要凸显一个“变化”。什么变化呢?就是他瘫痪后，由一个健康人到残疾人的艰难痛苦的变化，再由一个残疾人到一个精神健康人的伟大人格的变化。这种变化，作者用了区区一千多字就表达清楚了。这需要极高的写作驾驭能力才能实现。即便实现了，如果我们的阅读能力和生活积淀不够，也能以理解。这也是老师让你们反复朗读的目的之一。如果你们朗读不过关，老师无论如何讲解，你们的理解只能是一知半解而已。

所以，作者从一个暴怒无常的春天写起，用母子对话把他们当时境地交代清楚。然后经过一个夏季，儿子已经可以看着窗外落叶飘零而不再暴怒无常，且能够愿意与母亲一起看花了。这个变化经历了三个季节，春、夏、秋。这是作者为什么写季节的一个重要原因——要凸显自己接受现实之艰难。但就在这个时候，母亲突然离世。于是，儿子为自己的固执和麻木而懊悔，愧疚，自责。直到几年后，他才鼓足勇气，含着热泪写下了这篇饱含愧意的文章。

这些愧意从哪里看出呢?“我没想到”。作者多次提及这句话，每写一次，就是一次痛苦的回忆和愧疚。但对逝者最好的纪念就是对现有生命的珍视。于是，作者用最饱满、鲜活且富有生命的文字把“又是秋天”写得烂漫异常。好好活，才是对母亲的最好怀念。

第三个问题： “文章中出现了两次“好好活”，它们分别包含什么样的含义?”

我的思考是，一次是母亲对儿子希望，同时也是自己的一种生活态度，毕竟她自知时间不多了。而最后的“好好活”则是作者对母亲劝慰的理解和当下对待人生的一种姿态。

第四个问题：文中出现了几次“没想到”，它们的出现对文章的整体表达有什么作用?

我认为，主要是作者一种愧疚的表露。“没有想”不等于“不知道”。母亲有病，儿子肯定是知道的。只是没有想到母亲会这么快的离开他们，离开这个已经苦难异常的家：一个瘫痪的儿子，一个未成年的女儿。作者在刚刚要走出挫折境地的时候，母亲却突然离去了，这个现实让史铁生多年来一直耿耿于怀，他始终无法原谅自己当时的麻木和“自私”。这里的自私有一个引号，是强调当时的史铁生出现那种状态也是自然的，正常的，他能度过那个艰难的时刻，除去母亲之外，还有医生和他的朋友，这一点，《我二十一岁那年》一文已经写清楚了。因此，“没想到”的反复出现就是为整篇文章的愧疚情绪一再加重，让人感到。

再次说明一下，对上述话题的应答只是我个人阅读的感受，未必正确，因为，很多作家写文章的时候并未想到被拿来做考试题用，所以也没有什么正确答案。但没有答案，也不能成为我们胡乱猜测的理由。毕竟作者写文章时还是有自己清楚的写作意图的，作为读者，我们唯一能做的，就是通过大量文章的阅读与相关作者背景的分析，力争把我们的理解与作者的表达意思去接近，完全接近是不可能的，毕竟人是思维不能替代，但我们可以尽量地接近，努力使我们成为这些优秀作家的阅读知音。这时，我们的语文能力就会达到了一个很高的程度。

我们即将结束小学生活，对全班每个人都有很多不舍，但全班每个人中给予我最大上进力的是你。因此，再将要毕业之际，我写封信给你，邀你一起回忆小学的点点滴滴。

一年级我刚刚来到这个班时，你和林嘉怡总喜欢捉弄我。记得有好几次下课，你和林嘉怡将我的书本拿在手中，举得高高的，再突然放手，只听见“嘭”地一声，我的书就落到了地上。也就因此，我便认识了你和林嘉怡这两个捣蛋鬼。你除了是个捣蛋鬼，你也是班上的学习尖子。不管语文还是英语，你的分数都会比我高。也就是这样，我便把你当成了最大的劲敌。因为就在比赛时，我一直都在想着：一定要打败林嘉怡!

Dear Mom and Dad,

The time has come: I’m graduating, and I thank you both for all your help

during these 15 years. I still remember when you guys used to say, “You can be

whatever you want.” I’m so glad you are my parents, especially when I hear kids

say they don’t get along with theirs. I’m glad we do, and that you support me in

my decisions. You always try to help, and that’s important to me.

Dad, I remember when you first took me fishing. I loved going even though I

never caught anything. I also remember when you would get mad at me. I realize

you were only trying to show me the right way. When I would cry, you would

always be there to try to cheer me up. That’s what I call a good, loving, caring

dad. Sometimes you and Mom don’t agree with the decisions I make, but you are

there by my side in whatever I do, and that’s why I love you both so much.

Mom, we have our girls night out every Friday and I hope that never

changes, even when I am in college. I love telling you everything; the best part

about you is that you listen. Not only do you have great style, but you love to

have fun, and Dad does, too. You always give me your opinion and I listen. And

when I don’t, you are usually right!

I thank God every day that you are my parents and that you guys brought me

up right. I’m very fortunate having the two of you by me side when some kids

don’t have this kind of relationship with their parents. It makes me know how

lucky I am that you two are still together and get along so well. That’s what

makes you both so special to me and I take in every moment that I get with you
