So, what we should do is to bring down the problems caused by chimneys. For one thing, factories with chimneys should be moved out of the center of the city and it should be made sure that the waste gases are at least not poisonous. For another, other means of heating should be developed to stop using coal. In a word, in the city there should be no coal, no chimney, and no smoke to pollute the air.

In my opinion, two of the most critical causes of this waste material problem are the increased consumption and a shortage of space for landfill.

To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. In other words, we have turned into a materialistic and mass-consumption society where we use more and throw away more than ever before. Moreover, countries are running out of space to store garbage and waste material. In fact, securing land for waste disposal raises controversies in many countries.

To solve this intractable problem, every citizen needs to participate in producing less garbage. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products arestill put into rivers. We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems? If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept. Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them. The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control. Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

今天，森林面积锐减，土地沙漠化，大地母亲失去了她往日美丽的容颜，山清水秀、鸟语花香，都成为了美好的回忆。

今天，小动物们失去了原本幸福快乐的家园，气候慢慢变暖，水资源正面临枯竭。

夏天吃烧烤是很多人的最爱。吹着自然风，喝着啤酒，吃着各种烤串，的确是挺美的一件事，但是这店老板也太会就地取材了！

我家小区门口有一家烧烤店，每到夏天生意就特别红火。店面不大，店内也就能摆下五六张桌子，满足不了顾客的需求，店老板当然也不会放着生意不做。店门前就是民心河，大片的绿地就成了他们的用武之地，草坪上、小路上全被摆上了桌子、凳子和整筐的啤酒。到了晚上七点以后吃烧烤的人是最多的时候。店员上菜的吆喝声，喝酒人的吹嘘谈笑声，好一片热闹的场面。这时候店老板心里肯定美极了，他肯定没有想过被践踏的一片狼藉的草地，满地的垃圾污染着环境，被桌子挡住了的小路，过路的人们各个都得绕道而行，最让人受不了的是在这里吃饭的人，在河边随地小便竟然成了正常事。

有几次相关部门查处不规范烧烤摊位，奇怪的是，怎么这家店从来没有被查处过呢？看看这光秃秃的草坪、看看这满地的垃圾、再看看我们头上被污染的天空！真希望有关部门能加大查处力度，同时也希望来吃烧烤的人多想一想“小草青青踏之何忍”！

一个阳光明媚的下午，我和朋友在小区里一起玩耍。玩着玩着，我感觉我有点渴，便回家喝水了。下楼后，我去小卖部给我和我的朋友一人买了一个冰棒，然后我们便吃了起来。

当我要咬一口时，我发现他们撕的包装都随地乱扔，会把环境造成污染，我便提醒他们：“别随地乱扔垃圾，把垃圾扔到垃圾桶里。”他们连听都不听，直接吃完，跑走了。我很生气，决定要教训一下他们才行。我又再一次提醒他们，可他们却说：“一个垃圾算什么，我们爱怎么干就怎么干，你管得着吗？反正我们就是不扔。”他们说着，还对我做了个鬼脸，便玩去了。

我想：“我一定要让他们爱护环境。”于是，我对他们说：“保护环境，人人有责，你们如果不把垃圾扔到垃圾桶，环境就会被污染，而且你们难道要生活在垃圾堆里吗？如果有外国人来我们这里，会笑话我们不讲卫生，你们想让外国人怎么想，是让他们怀疑我们中国是垃圾场吗？”

说完，我把垃圾一点一点的扔进垃圾箱，虽然忙得满头大汗，但是我的心了乐滋滋的。朋友回来了。我又严肃的对他们说：“你们不收拾垃圾就跑，真影响市容，要是有老人或小孩踩在上面摔倒了怎么办？我们应该当好东道主，我应该这样做，你们也应该这样做。”小伙伴听了，都个个惭愧的低下了头，红着脸说：“我们做得不对，下次保证注意。”

今天，我学习了《绿色记事本》这一课。这节课主要讲述小奥茨和他的同学们的环保节能行为，通过学习这节课让我认识到了环保节能对我们生活的重要性，使我受益匪浅。回想一周自己的做法，内心深感惭愧，不由得涨红了脸。

星期一晚上我因为害怕而开了一夜灯，白白浪费了两度电，真不应该。

星期二我感冒了，不停地流鼻涕，一大张手帕纸只用了一次，其实完全可以分两次用的，我很后悔。

星期三我只因写错了一个字而将整张纸撕去，要知道造纸不仅需要大量的木材，还需要水呀，电呀，真是浪费！

星期四我的本子用完了，我毫不犹豫地将它扔进了垃圾桶。其实它的背面还可以当数学练习本呀！我没有做到物尽其用，心里很是懊恼。

今天是星期五，我从楼上看到门口的垃圾堆成了“小山”，空气也受到了污染，十分难闻。我为了节约用电，清除臭味，从14层高楼的步梯跑了下去，将它们扔进了垃圾桶，做了件环保的事。妈妈表扬了我，我真高兴。

保护环境，从我做起！环保节能，无处不在，以前的我不懂得这些事的重要性，现在我知道了，我会严格的要求自己增强环保节能意识，也希望大家都能够自觉地严于律已，从自己做起，从小事做起，为环保出一份力，我相信地球一定会更加美好！

我们生活在一个美丽的行星上，这里的一草一木都十分宝贵。但有些人却为了自己的利益而随便破坏着这美丽的环境，因此而导致现在全世界雾霾严重，森林大量被砍伐，全国气温上升等严重事件，而这些事件的元凶就是人类。

我们应该怎样来弥补人们犯下的过错呢？我建议：第一，我们得尽量少开私家车，因为汽车行驶后，排出的尾气对空气的污染十分严重，而中国人又是十分爱面子的，往往看见新出什么汽车都会买，最后搞的满街都是汽车，而导致巨多有毒气体汇聚，形成雾霾。汽车太多是形成雾霾的重要原因之一。也正是因为这样北京的雾霾十分严重，因为北京是中国的首都，肯定会有很多游客去观光，这样一来人多车肯定多，那有毒气体也会增多，再加上首都那儿的工厂也会很多，这样北京的污染绝对会十分严重；第二、我们得多种植些花草树木，因为树木可以吸收二氧化碳和一些有毒物体，再释放出清新的空气。所以，如果我们能把树木在全世界种满，那所谓的雾霾就不存在了。但如今已经很少会有人做这些事了，也只有到了植树节时人们才会种一两棵树木。但这如果是在阿拉伯的话，他们一定会十分努力、非常用心地种树，因为，他们那是沙漠，根本没有一棵树，可是，正是因为这样，他们那才会意识到树木的重要性，所以他们才会花费很大的代价来种一颗树，因此我们也要像阿拉伯人民学习，多种树来美化我们的环境。

通过上面的种种发现，我只想说一点，那就是我们要保护环境，保护我们美丽的地球！

I want to be a famous reporter when I grow up,because reporter is really

funny and can travel around world.

I feel like traveling to Hawaii,but it will need a lot of money,and if I

become a famous reporter I dont need a lot of money!
