握着放学前老师发给我们的《抵制秸秆焚烧，共创文明家园》这封信，我着急起来：我能为环保做什么?深吸一口气，蓦然发现，空气中没有呛人的烟味，倒是呼吸到桂花以外的秸秆的清香，怎么回事?看看空旷的稻田，几台大型机器正在紧张地吞吐，那一只只“小铁牛”依次向前把摊在地上的秸秆吃到肚里，几秒钟后尾部就吐出了捆得结结实实的秸秆包，真神奇。一打听才知道，这些小铁牛是先进的“打包机”，港区政府为了解决群众的后顾之忧，联系了一台台“打包机”，然后把这些成捆的秸秆运到造纸厂。这样，既减少了环境污染又增加了废物的利用率，真是一举多得呀!怪不得今年秋收以来，家乡的天空依旧那么澄碧，空气依旧那么清新。

There are several reasons accounting for this problem. Apart from the polluted environment and natural disasters, illegal killing is an important reason. “啊，真累!”晚上，我躺在床上，懒洋洋的，累得不想动了。不过回想起今天所做的一切，就觉得所有累都值了。

我继续巡逻，忽然，一颗小石头在我头上“降落”了。我拾起小石头，看到几个用石头打小鸟的小伙子。我走上前对他们说：“公园里不能打小鸟!”小伙子们轻篾地看了我一眼，说：“关你什么事，丫头。”“当然关我事，我是公园的监督员。小鸟是人类的好朋友，它们虽然弱小，但它们能为大自然增添一道亮丽的风景，不能捕捉小鸟。保护环境，应该从我做起!”小伙子们脸一红，放下手中的石头，扭头走了。

In order to protect the environment, governments have done a lot of work.
