吃过午饭，就急冲冲地奔向大海。在海中像鱼儿一样欢乐的嬉戏，一会又到这里，一会又到那里，有时停下来随着海浪一起跌宕，即使烈火般的阳光照在皮肤上也毫不在乎。偶尔被海水呛住，只觉得海水好咸，似乎停留在喉咙里，咳不出咽不下，就像吃了几勺盐那样难受。曾经听别人说过海水是咸的，可是没想到海会这么咸，咸到有些苦涩。

我家有一只活泼可爱的小比熊，它是我的好朋友。

小比熊狗非常可爱，它全身长着白色的绒毛，摸在手上特别舒服，一尘不染的毛，看上去就像白色的绒球。小小的比熊狗有一双大大的眼睛，就像一对黑宝石，嵌在闪闪发光的蓝玉石上。小比熊狗，还有一只锋利的爪子。它的叫声很特别，不像别人家的狗汪汪叫，而是阿呜阿呜的叫，我为它起了一个好听的名字叫球球，因为它已经胖得像一个球了，它特别能吃，一口气可以吃五个大梨呢!而且它什么都吃，就是不吃狗粮!

它的性格十分古怪，说它老实吧，的确是呀要不怎么三天都不出声呢?说它贪吃吧一点也没说错，我们吃饭的时候它就会飞快地跑出来。

球球可淘气了。我们每天早上起床不是发现少了一只鞋，就是发现鞋子里有股臭味，这一定是球球干的，可是每当这时候我都找不到它，它好像自己已经知道犯了错误，看它可怜巴巴的样子，让人不免又有一种怜爱，轻轻地抚摸着它柔软的绒毛，我的怒气早已抛到九霄云外去了。

每天我放学回家时，它总是围着我转悠，我写作业时，球球就趴在我脚下，静静地看着我。这就是我的小狗球球，也就是我的宝贝。

我老家有一只可爱的小狗，名叫雪球，它是我最忠诚的“小伙伴”。在我很小的时候，它来到我家，天天陪伴着我长大，渐渐地我和它有了深厚的感情。但因为我从上幼儿园开始就不在老家了，所以不能天天陪它玩，只有过节时才能陪它。平时，我就非常地想念它，它也很想念我，直到暑假、寒假才能和它玩。

我自从认识了汉字后，不喜欢看书，只喜欢看一些漫画书和动画片。一天，妈妈从外面回来，手中竟捧着一本学校宣布的必读书，并且这个星期必须读完。我心想：“这么厚的一本书还不把我给看死。”妈妈一转身，我就想出了一个办法，在必读书中放一本漫画书，用必读书的皮挡住了漫画书，这样妈妈就以为我正在津津有味地看必读书呢。

“我又因为下面一件事变成了一有时间就看书了”。最近，妈妈又买了一本《淘气包马小跳系列之四个调皮蛋》让我在学校看完，我就一直塞在书包里，从没有拿出来看过。没想有一个自习课，刘老师说这段时间只能看书，不能干别的事。我只好从书包中拿出《四个调皮蛋》无精打采地看了起来。故事的情节，马小跳和他的三个伙伴的正直、善良把我打动了，使我喜欢上了看书。

“有一次自习课，我竟然……”。这节课老师让我们干自己的事，就是不能说话，听见这句话，我立即就从书包里拿出了《城南旧事》，我被书中惠安馆的疯子、英子和妞儿感动了，英子糊糊涂涂在帮惠安馆的疯子秀贞找到了女儿妞儿，最后惨死在火车轮下，读到这儿我仿佛就感觉自己也在书中，“张艺文”一声叫声把我从书中拉了出来，原来大家都把《补充习题》交了，而我却还在看书，我的脸顿时红的像苹果一样，赶紧把《补充习题》给交了，心里想：这次可糗大了。

“我终于成为了一个小书虫”。一写完作业，我就捧着一本书直朝着厕所奔去，刚坐上马桶就听见妈妈叫道：“艺文，不要坐在马桶上看书。”我朝妈妈做了一个鬼脸，笑着说：“没关系，我一会就OK了。”虽说是一会儿，可这一两分钟就可以搞定的事，我坐在马桶上津津有味地看着书，竞长达了二十分钟。为了我不再发生这种事情，妈妈下达了一个家规：凡再看到艺文上厕所时看书，见一次没收一本书。果然效果很好，我上厕所时看书的次数少了，但不代表我不会去偷偷看书。

我的这么多故事终于告一段落了，不过还有一些我私家的读书故事，等待下次再说，我现在可以说学富五车，因为书的影响，使我更加聪明，我的这一生不能没有书，不然我会后悔的。

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

When the summer comes, the weather is so hot, it is rarely to see the rain.

Today, when I wake up, I find the weather is chilly, it is going to rain. I am

so happy, I miss the rain so much. Suddenly, the rain drops from the sky, I ran

out of the house, looking at the sky, dancing with the rain. I feel so cool,

then all my weariness has gone.

“旺旺，是不是你将我的鞋子藏起来了？”

一大清早的，我就气呼呼的双手叉腰瞪着眼前大眼睛咕溜转的小狗。尽管它摇头晃尾，一脸无辜，不过我可不会被它的外表给迷惑了，这事它可做过很多次了。

“怎么了？”从厨房里出来的妈妈朝着我问道，我将事情给妈妈讲了一遍。最终，妈妈和我一样，将疑惑的目光看向了蹲坐在地上的小狗。“汪汪~”小狗弱弱的叫唤了两声，像是心虚，也像是在为自己辩解。我家的小狗就像是长不大的小孩子，可顽皮了。日常生活里，就喜欢和我们玩捉迷藏。

这时候，爸爸也走了来，“昨天，我将你的鞋子洗了，放在阳台上。这次，你们就可都错怪汪汪了。”爸爸一边说着，一边就朝着阳台的方向走了去。之后，我看着提在爸爸手上的鞋子，然后瞧着正在用脑袋亲昵的蹭着我裤腿的小狗，顿时也就明白是我错怪小狗了。

于是我蹲下身，然后一手揉着小狗的脑袋，表达歉意道：“好啦，是我错怪了你，我向你道歉，我的朋友。”小狗又亲昵的靠着我，显然一点都没怪我呢。

在我的心里我家的小狗一直都是我的朋友，虽然这个朋友很淘气，并且还经常捣蛋，但是我还是很喜欢这个朋友。当我在家里看电视或者做作业的时候，我的这位朋友就一直陪伴在我身边，它会靠在我的脚边陪伴着我，时不时的甩甩尾巴想引起我的注意。我的朋友也是很可爱的。

我的动物朋友，尽管身上有不少的缺点，但是也有很多的优点呢。小狗耍赖卖萌的模样常能给家里带来很多的欢乐，并且小狗还是家里的守护神，当我们都不在家的时候，小狗就静静的守着屋子等待着我们回来。

我的植物朋友是多肉，我给多肉起名叫“肉肉”，因为肉肉的叶子鼓鼓的，胖胖的，摸上去肉乎乎的。

远看，肉肉像一个绿绒大伞，大伞下面有一些石凳，人们还坐在石凳上乘凉呢!近看，肉肉像一个绿色的莲花宝座，莲花宝座上面就像坐着一位大神仙。

肉肉的叶子是绿色的，叶子胖鼓鼓的。那些叶子聚拢在一起，就像一家人。我用鼻子闻了闻肉肉，一种清淡的香味扑鼻而来，香极了!

今天，肉肉又多长了两片胖鼓鼓的小叶子，就像妈妈又生了两个可爱的小宝宝一样，我高兴极了!

我喜欢我的肉肉，它就是我的植物朋友。

“哥，交钱。”他仍然笑着，缓缓地说着。“什么?”我用双手塞了塞耳朵怀疑自己听错了，哪有上自家厕所还要交钱的道理。“你给我让开。”我不由得火冒三丈。“就不，谁让你不交钱。”弟弟一副置之不理的样子。天啊，我急得如热锅上的蚂蚁，眼看就要“山洪瀑发”了。我不知哪来的力气一下子推开弟弟立马冲进厕所。“哗”一个字——爽!

“哗”又发出一声，奇怪我尿完了怎么还有声音，出来一看。天啊，老弟正坐在地上，踹着两条腿，手舞足蹈，眼睛里不断地冒出小“豆豆”。这么大的动静早把老妈老爸引出来了。老妈一边跑一边问：“怎么了，怎么了。”弟弟带着哭腔说：“哥哥……他……他……不让……我……上厕所。”“什么?”我又一次怀疑自己的耳朵听错了。我刚想反驳，却被妈妈顶回去了：“还不快去写作业!”我就只好回房了，真是哑吧吃黄连有苦说不出。

晚饭时，老弟屁颠屁颠地跟着我，嘴里还念叨着：“我是哥哥的‘跟屁虫’。吃饭时，爸爸端上一只煎鱼，我一看心生一计。我用筷子翻开鱼肚，夹出鱼卵，对老弟说：“来给你吃，这是很好吃的。”说完硬要塞给他，他似乎想起了什么，大喊：“我不吃，爷爷说吃鱼卵会变笨的。”他刚说完便逃跑了，我穷追不舍，而老爸老妈早笑开了。

Like every young girl, I pay attention to make myself look pretty, because

if I get more attention from others, I will be very happy. So I start to follow

the models and the movies stars dressing style, then I find that compare to

their skinny bodies, I look like a fat girl. So I have made up my mind to lose

weight. As my body is in the growth period, my parents always ask me to eat

more. When they find me start to eat less, they think I am sick. I tell them

that I want to look beautiful, then my mother says that I am beautiful in her

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.
