There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. In Tianjin,there are many buildings of bygone times.Some of them are

imposing and have great artistic and historic value.However,these buildings do

mot fit in well with each other,because most of them were built by foreigners in

different times.The traffic in the city is not very convenient.The street are

usually narrow and twisted.If the government wanted to have them widened,a large

number of buildings would have to be pulled down.Some buildings are too old and

are nothing more than cottages,and in place of them,some new high buildings have

been set up.However,the new ones are still few and in many places they seem

quite out of place.

Yet those Western-style buildings give Tianjin a different characteristic

from other cities and those new ones lend the city fresh vitality which will

spread rapidly with the reform going on.

Zhang Ying is my good friend. She’s in Class1, Grade4 in Tianjiao Primary

School. She’s a model student. She’s smart and she’s helpful, too. She often

helps teachers and young students at school. She is good at Chinese, math,

English, arts and crafts, music and so on. She has a lot of hobbies. She likes

painting and drawing. And she likes listening to music, having picnics with her

parents. Oh yeah, she likes fishing, too. But she doesn’t like playing

basketball, football, table tennis or volleyball. Zhang Ying is the best friend

of mine. I like playing with her. We always work together and help each

other.

“海风你轻轻地吹，海浪你轻轻地摇…”到厦门时已到晚上，走在海边，扑面而来的是清爽的、潮湿的带着淡淡的海腥味的海风，我不由自主的深深吸了一口气，张开双臂，想把大海揽在怀里，大声欢呼道：“厦门海峡我来了!” "You blow gently in the sea breeze, you shake it gently ..." 此时的海是那么安静，祥和，像一位老者，静静的睡在暮色里。无风无浪，与天默默相对。我突发奇想，在这无声的黑夜里，苍茫的天和浩瀚的海，是不是会与对方说一些家长里短，奇闻异事，是不是像一个家庭的父母一样累了一个白天，晚上终于闲下来谈谈心呢?

清晨我按捺不住自己兴奋的心情，早早起床来到海边。大海像一个婴儿刚刚醒来，精神饱满，心满意足，闪着蓝宝石色的眼睛。一阵风儿吹过，逗得它“嗝嗝嗝”地笑起来，手和脚乱踢一番，弄得海水喷吐着白沫，敲打着松软的沙滩，望着大海那可爱的样子，我也忍不住笑出声来。

中午，太阳高悬在空中，放射出万丈光芒，海水荡漾起波光粼粼的波纹，像一张灿烂的脸对着我们微笑。天空蓝的如水洗过一般纯净，海更是蓝得醉人，抬头望天，一朵朵白云构成一幅美丽的画卷，似乎伸手就能触到，在茫茫大海中，船也显得那么渺小，坐在双层的大游轮上，也感觉像一叶扁舟。海水像妈妈的怀抱，像不停摇晃的秋千，像一上一下的跷跷板，一会儿便搞得我翻江倒海，头晕目眩，直到我吓得躺在船上的长座椅上才好一些。

终于船靠岸了，踩着晃悠悠的甲板下了船。呈现在眼前是一望无际的沙滩，海浪推着前浪，浪花像一位舞蹈家，在大海中翩翩起舞，一些贝壳如浪花的崇拜者跟随着浪花来到了沙滩上，白色的、棕色的，黄色的、带有各色花纹的，真是五彩缤纷。大的，小的、圆的、扁的形态各异，像散落的小精灵。游人们在沙滩上，欢笑嬉戏，特别是孩子们，捡贝壳是她们的最爱。

傍晚，太阳快下山了，红霞满天飞。夕阳洒在海面上，像是撒入水中的金针银线，随着水波晃动着，海面上，真是似真似假，似梦似幻，日月之行，若出其中，星汉灿烂，若出其里，望着渐渐安静的大海，我的心胸也似乎开阔了很多……
