离升旗坛不远处，有一片嫩绿的草坪。每一片草叶好像是一个精灵，正在展示着它们旺盛的生命力。看看绿毯一样的草坪，真想在上面打一个滚儿。草坪的周围有许多盛开的鲜花，像是给绿色的草坪镶上一个金边。花香引来了许多蝴蝶，有的蝴蝶飞累了，就停在草坪上休息，扇动着它那美丽的翅膀。

I have many friends, but Jim is one of my best friends. He is not handsome,

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

We had a small debate yesterday in politics class, which made everybody laugh. Wang Yongbin in our class is funny. He said with a crooked neck, "please state your opinion in opposition." It looks very serious! The opposite students grabbed the handle of our classmates, so Liu Yang, our mathematics class, said immediately: "the student said that dreams and dreams are opposite to reality." 水资源是供我们利用的，不是供我们浪费的。现在有多少人因缺少水资源而死的，只有现在去珍惜水、爱护水才能保证不发生这些事情。所以从今天起，大家要做到不浪费水，并监视身边的人做到节约用水。

大家生活中一定有很多可回收垃圾吧，如：电池、纸张……不都属于以上一类吗?所以，大家在生活中一定要做大垃圾分类啊!因为这样，才能保证回收站的人把该回收的垃圾给回收。

大家买东西时都喜欢用塑料袋吧?是啊，塑料袋既方便又美观，谁不爱用啊!可是，你知道塑料袋到底多么不环保吗?它自然分解需要二百年以上，还污染水源和土壤塑料袋不容易分解，一百年都不会腐烂;如果埋在土里，就会破坏土壤的质量;如果把它丢在大海里，鱼儿们一不小心吃了，消化不良，就会死亡……现在知道它的危害了吧?所以希望大家少用塑料袋。

环保听起来是件大事，但是他就在我们身边。需要我们仔细观察，进行修改。说它离我们进，触手可及。说它离我们远，它又不会来靠近我们，需要我们去接近它。

身体残缺并不可怕，可怕的是自己残缺对生活的信心;苦难残缺并不可怕，可怕的是社会残缺温暖的援助;腐败残缺并不可怕，可怕的是国家残缺睿智的判断……其实，这个世界最可怕的还是人性的残缺，有眼辨不出美丑，有耳辨不出真假，有心辨不出善恶。

在人的一生中，一帆风顺、事事顺心未必是幸运，未经风浪的心灵无法承受失败的打击;同样，九死一生、历经坎坷未必就是不幸，因为磨难砥砺能铸就坚韧和百折不饶的信念。这样，残缺成为一种美丽，甚至成为一种生活的动力……

我家有一只小狗，名叫金毛，它是我过生日时妈妈送我的礼物，我可喜欢它啦!

金毛浑身长满了金色的毛，像披了一件毛大衣，威风凛凛。伸手摸摸那毛，感觉非常光滑，像是在摸妈妈的长头发，舒服极了!一双乌黑发亮的眼睛嵌在眼窝里，像两颗黑宝石。两只三角形的耳朵，有时竖在脑袋上，像两个小雷达在接收信号;有时耷拉着，像在脑袋上打了两块补丁。它的鼻子湿漉漉的，像是喝水的时候把鼻子弄湿了，又像是伸着舌头故意把鼻子舔湿的。

金毛平时一动不动趴在门口，像是一个非常尽职的卫士。有人来了，它就走过来闻气味，如果是认识的，就不停地摇着尾巴，不认识的呢?就把尾巴竖得很高，还“汪汪”地叫着。每次出去散步，它跑得可欢了，脚底像抹了油一样，我都追不上它。

我家的小狗很有趣。有一次，我跟它去玩球，我假装将球扔了出去，它便竖着耳朵飞快地跑出去寻找。东找找、西看看，结果没有找到球，便气喘吁吁地跑到了我的身边，看到球还在我的手上，我正哈哈大笑，它知道自己上当了，对着我“汪汪”叫，仿佛在说：“讨厌你，欺负我。”从那以后，它就再也不上我的当了。

这就是我家的金毛，非常有趣的小狗，只要一有空，我就逗它玩!

The Lunar New Year occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first

four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on

duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill

pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses

are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at

the gate.

On the eve of the new year, each family has its members gatherd together

and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock

strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers

and other fireworks to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year,

almost everyone is dressed in his or her best. When

people meet on the way, they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends

and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children

indulge themselves in games.

我爱涓涓流淌的小溪、美丽恬静的湖泊、奔流不息的江河，但我更爱浩瀚无比的大海。我曾看过许多描写海的文章，也看过许多关于海的图片，但我完全没有感受过真正的海，海对我来说，是陌生的、是虚无缥缈的。终于，我来到了著名的海滨城市秦皇岛，领略了海的平静与雄壮。 I love the trickle flowing stream, beautiful and quiet lakes, and endless rivers, but I love the vast sea.I have read many articles describing the sea, and I have read many pictures about the sea, but I have never felt the real sea at all. 眼前就是我神往已久的大海，午后的天空，白云朵朵，空气中充满了海的气息，有一种雾蒙蒙的感觉。我独自站在海边，眺望远方，欣赏着海，海很平静，一眼望去不见尽头。灰蒙蒙的天、湿漉漉的雾和湛蓝蓝的海混在了一起，海天一色，若隐若现，仿佛那遥远的海市蜃楼。

白色的光轻盈地斜射入海面，乍看上去海是那么蓝，像一颗蓝宝石，不，应该是一块绸缎才对，又平又滑。海风微微吹来，海面上浮起了点点涟漪，在阳光的照耀下闪出刺眼的光芒。眨眼间大海又换了一身装束，它的颜色又成了绿的，像一块翡翠呈现在我眼前。

夜幕渐渐降临，眺望海天交接的一线，西边的彩霞隐没了太阳，东边的月亮已隐约出现了。

“海是什么颜色的?”妈妈不知什么时候来到了我的身边，“碧绿的呀!”我不假思索地说。

“应该是金黄色的吧。”当我诧异地回过头再看大海时，海水被夕阳的余晖染成了金黄色，闪闪发光，简直是美到了极点。噢，我明白了，原来海面随着时间的推移和光线的变化而变幻出不同的色彩。

有时候海是静的，像睡美人一样不言不语也不动，等待着白马王子的到来。忽然它不再是那亭亭玉立的少女，而变成强壮的庄稼汉，浑身有使不尽的气力，海浪层层迎风而起，扑向岸边的岩石，溅起阵阵白沫。你相信吗?大海还会笑呢，波浪是它的笑纹，漩涡是它的酒窝。那斑斑的光点，随着海浪晃动闪烁着，像一串串流动的珍珠。

当然海也会发怒，狂滚咆哮，汹涌澎湃，仿佛要吞吐日月，显现出特别的壮美。

晚饭过后，我独自一人出来散步，晚风清新而又凉爽。经过了一天的喧闹，人们都乏了，大海似乎也累了，不再作声，夜更静谧了，皎洁的月光异常美丽，我坐下来，一动不动。海开始涨潮了，浪花有二三点溅到了我的嘴唇上，涩涩的、咸咸的，可我心里像吃了蜜一样甜，又说不出的兴奋与喜悦。

因为我来到了我向往已久的地方，圆了我那蓝蓝的梦。
