正所谓“百里同风不同俗”“各处乡村各处例”，根据我的调查，在中国各个地方的人都有不同的文化习俗。北方人爱吃腊八粥，粉条，冻梨，粘豆包，而南方人多吃汤圆，年糕，红烧鱼，扣肉。不同的食物就连吃的不同的日子也有不同。

通过我的调查得到，中国人普遍会过小年。在这一天，各个家庭的妇女都会带着孩子们一起拜神这预兆着新的一年，即将开始，人们都会过上更美好幸福的生活。年二十五，就是家家大扫除的日子。再往后，到了除夕，全家人坐在一起吃年夜饭，必须有鱼，象征年年有余，再者，要有鸡，象征着吉祥如意。大年初一，第一件事是要“开门炮仗”，接着要拜年、占岁、吃斋等。而大年初二是回门的日子，各个家庭里又添了几分喜庆。

在以往中国的春节里，大家都要贴春联，放鞭炮。大年除夕的晚上，一家人坐在一起吃团圆饭，看春晚。大街上还有各种舞龙，舞狮，人们都喜欢去逛庙会，猜灯谜，年味儿十足，城市里，农村里，所有人激情四射，一片热闹声，一片欢笑声，一片红。

而在这几年里，老一辈的人们评价道：“现在的年过得不像年，春晚依然那么精彩，可是有一些祖上传下来的风俗，早已被工作和忙碌冲刷的一干二净。大街上的吆喝声，欢闹声都也慢慢褪去了，一家人坐在自己的房子里玩手机，看电视，还是一样的贴春联，放鞭炮，但是已经没有往年的味道了。过年呢还是要回到农村里，即使大家蹲在地里，拔拔萝卜，耕耕田，种种地，大家一起流汗，也挺幸福，这年过的就舒心!”

是啊，我们是不是应该反思，中国文化博大精深，但是，我们炎黄子孙，却没有将那些传承下来的习俗发扬光大。春节，是于中国人而言最重要的节，所以我们更应当重视它。虽然，现在科技发达。但是，我们一家人坐在一起也应该放下手中的电子产品，和家人一起享受这最美好的时光。

eating sweet Tang Yuan, and hanging out with the people we love, thinking of the

虽说放鞭炮是个不错的活动，可孩子们追捧的，还是压岁钱。在新年倒计时的时候，长辈们将钱放在红包里送给晚辈，寓意着能辟邪驱鬼，保佑平安。

春节最热闹的自然是年夜饭。这时，在外的游子们都会赶回来，一家人开开心心地吃一顿饭。北方人过年习惯吃饺子，取的是“更岁交子”的意思。有时候，还会在饺子里放几枚硬币，如果谁先吃着了，就能多挣钱。

端午节最不可少的，自然是粽子，每年端午节外婆和大家都会包上几百个大粽子呢!包粽子虽然有很多种，比如芦苇叶、竹笋叶、菰叶、藕叶等。但我们的家乡是芦苇比较多，所以大多都用芦苇叶包了。首先，外婆“率兵”去采芦苇叶。采芦苇叶时，一大家子听着外婆的劳动号子：“加油!一个粽子三片叶子!上百个粽子几千片，嘿哟，加油!”听了“将军”的鼓劲，“小兵”们更加卖力了!采完芦苇叶，现在只要将它们暴晒就行了。但准备材料可没有这么简单哟，还得去集市上买来上好的红豆、猪肉、花生、板粟、蜜枣与糯米，还要买红线呢!

当然，最好玩的时候还是包粽子的时候。包粽子时，男人负责把肉切成不大不小的块儿;女人负责洗红豆、糯米之类的;小孩负责把大盆洗干净，再把大人加工好的东西装在大盆里;而老人们则负责指挥。一切准备好之后，就开始包粽子了。大人们干得格外卖力，而小孩们呢?却在一旁玩着，总是在大人们不注意时，偷一两颗蜜枣往嘴里塞，表面上似乎一点儿事都没做，可心里却暗暗自喜——因为蜜枣太好吃了!

最后一步就是煮粽子，烧火的外公总是把火候把握的很好，味道很香、很浓，如果在第一时间内吃粽子，你看到的肉粽子总是嫩地流油，看到的蜜枣粽子总是金黄柔嫩;看到的八宝粽子总是很可口，我们可爱吃了。

去年，要不是为了去盐城替舅舅、舅妈照顾表哥，外公外婆可能在包粽子哩。我突然有些“厌恶”舅舅、舅妈，他们家的经济条件不错，为什么不找个保姆?把我的欢乐端午节和粽子都“夺走了”，我好生气呀!也好怀念那味香色美的粽子呀!

英语念起来干枯无聊，我偶尔往前面望去，有一排同学没事可做，竟然搞起敢死队的工作——在英语老师的眼皮子底下看漫画书，晕。更为巧合的是――竟然都是坐在一排的人！怀疑是不是串通好了的呢。

敢死队员1号：小心翼翼型

这位队员一边看着书，一边虎视耽耽地望着老师。瞧，他刚翻一页，就抬头看看老师，接着又翻一页，然后有抬头望望老师，这样重复循环，真不知道他把内容看进去没有。看见老师的目光没有扫向他，他赶紧抓住机会连翻几页，然后突然抬头，盯着老师。

敢死队员2号：动作怪怪型

这位队员可有点怪了，看着书，一会儿掏掏鼻子，一会儿打打哈欠，一会儿摸摸耳朵，一副惟恐天下不乱的样子，好像不让老师发现他的举动就不甘心似的，真是个怪人。

敢死队员3、4号：谈天说地型

这两位同学有些不把老师放在眼里了，边看书边聊天。我隐隐约约听见他们说冒险岛OL，说漫画内容，说小说，说娱乐咨询，就连老师和同学的目光扫向他们，也无济于事。

敢死队员5号：边学边看型

这位同学好像有些明白学习的重要性，看了几分钟的书，马上立起来听老师的讲课。课上一半时，老师为了扫查班上的敢死队，把同学们一个叫起一个问问题。这下可让这群敢死队员们开始惶恐不安了，他们连书都顾不着看呢。而这位队员呢，看一会儿就学学，这一招算是对他的MISS了。

敢死队员6号：理直气壮型

这位同学可是班上的霸王级分子了（注：别乱想，不是我啊），他可是一人之下，几十人之上，谁敢对他不敬，他的落雷马上就落在你头上了，（注：我已经欠了他3顿打了，要不是我能帮他弄电脑作业，我早就魂飞天了）因此每人敢告发他。不知是她的好运还是老师放水，他这样看了一堂课，竟然都没半点被批评，真太不公平了！！

谁知道，老师从天而降，为了抓住敢死分子，居然来个背后突袭，到所有座位后边地毯式搜索。5名敢死队员唰地一声，在同一时间内放下书，装起乖乖。只有敢死队员6号稳如泰山，而老师的目光明明瞄准了他，可老师却好像在放水一样，竟纵容他在自己眼皮子底下活动，真气死人了！而其他5位的敢死队员便无机可乘，只好乖乖停课，唯独6号占了便宜。

在我们的身边就有很多污染环境的污染物，比如说：大量的生活废弃品、废塑袋、一次性饭盒、果皮纸屑等等。污染物对环境来说，毫无疑问，肯定有很大的危害。

春节大扫除

Tomorrow is New Years Day, my family have had a completely cleaning for

two days. Then my father and I decorated our flat and my mother cooked delicious

food for our meal. After supper we watched TV program. How happy we were!

明天是春节，我家里以近在两天前做了彻底的大扫除。然后我和爸爸一起装饰家里，妈妈则在烧好吃的东西。晚饭以后，我们一起看电视节目，我们多高兴呀!

说到小仓鼠，大家一定都不陌生。它毛茸茸的，特别可爱，不少同学家都养了小仓鼠。

我家小仓鼠可真谓人见人爱，花见花开，你看一眼就会喜欢上它。它的皮毛油亮亮的，底色是黄的，在它背上还有两道白色的印记，看起来像被别人画了两笔又细又长的白色颜料。小仓鼠因此而的名为南瓜子。它有两只里白外黄的小耳朵，真像两片小花瓣安在头上。小耳朵下方嵌着一双小小的黑眼睛。可爱的小鼻子和嘴巴也被端端正正地安在了它的小脸上。

南瓜子的吃相太萌萌哒了。哦，午餐时间到了，南瓜子趴在铁栏杆上，两只小眼睛乌溜溜地转，好像一个一天没吃东西的流浪汉。我用力拿起那一大袋的仓鼠食物，南瓜子马上高兴地上窜下跳，可兴奋了。我用小勺子弄了一点食物到那粉色的爱心食盆里，南瓜子马上转过小脸来盯着我，好像在问：今天的食物怎么这么少?我会吃不饱的。它先捧起一小颗瓜子，小心翼翼地舔了舔，好像在尝一尝味道怎么样。嗯，味道鲜美，好吃!它的眼神告诉我。之后，南瓜子放开大肚皮，狼吞虎咽地开始大快朵颐，转眼之间食盆里的食物被一扫而光了。

我有一位可爱的朋友，她的名字叫小宁，多好听!因为我们的关系不错，所以她叫我“鱼”，我叫她“宁”。

宁长得不高，而且还有点点肥，但她很可爱。宁的皮肤是白白嫩嫩的，宁有一张可爱的脸蛋，眼睛大大的，嘴巴却不大也不小，鼻子也恰到好处，一切都是那么的可爱。宁留着平刘海，刚好触到眉毛，头发乌黑乌黑的，可惜因为拉过发的缘故，手摸起来有些硬。宁是一个很开朗、很聪明的女孩，但是，她也是一个很调皮的女孩哦!常常逗大家哈哈大笑，大家都说宁是“傻”的。

宁很贪玩。有一次，宁的爸爸妈妈出差了，然后不久，我打电话过去找她，结果没在学习，在玩电脑。宁的爸妈只要不会来，她就会趴在电脑前，少的话至少3个小时，多的话有7、8个小时。那几天，我去找她，基本上是吃了玩，玩了吃。还说要努力学习呢，自己买的练习过了一个月，我的快写完了，宁的却只有几页，而且还零零散散。哎!都不知道怎么说宁好了!

宁很会照相。宁喜欢照相，更喜欢摆POSS。从小就照艺术照的宁，造型花样百出，都很可爱呢!宁的照片有一大打，都很可爱。我也被感染了，以前在镜头前都是木木的，现在会摆POSS了。有一次，我和宁打算一起去照大头贴，结果，宁要我带上我所有穿起来不错的衣服，我拉了满满一带，连羽毛球拍也带去了!我们拍了很多，造型一大堆，多半都是一些可爱的表情和动作，可衣服没用上几件!很夸张吧!更夸张的是，我们两个人拍照，每个人都很久，少至半个小时，多至1个小时。做这生意的叔叔阿姨们都会催我们快点，呵呵!

宁很有人缘。宁的朋友很多，生活中的，网上的，差不多遍布在中国的每个城市。这也是我最羡慕宁的一点了。宁的语言交际很好，特别会说话，所以大家都很喜欢她。而且，宁有她的独特的说话方式，别人是怎么学也学不会的。我觉得宁有一定的文学才能，不然，QQ的个性签名她怎么会编的那么好看，那么可爱呢?

Last week, my cousin was back at home from his trip. He had been away for

more than a month and he was a backpacker. I felt so envious, because he could

live the life he wanted. I listened to him and was so attractive by the scenery

he saw. The people he met also caught my attention. I made up my mind. When I

earned money in the future, I would do the things as my cousin do now. So the

first thing for me was to be more independent. I should learn to do the things

by myself, such as cleaned my own stuff instead of asking my mother to wash.

Secondly, I needed to study hard, so as to find a good job. I needed money to

support my dream. I believe that I can realize my dream and live my own

life.

父亲是个地地道道的北方人，他拥有北方男人那高大魁梧的身形，线条明晰的轮廓和那股特有的硬朗之气。在我心中父亲就像是一棵青松，无论是骄阳如火，还是雨雪纷纷，都是那么高大挺拔，坚忍不屈。他那宽宽的肩膀和有力的大手永远是我最可靠的最坚强的后盾。

I’m so excited about my trip to xining. Now i am writing to ask you for

help. Can you answer my questions? Thanks!

First, what is the weather like in your city? Does it snow a lot in winter?

I need to have the right kinds of clothes and shoes. Next, what kind of food do

you ususally have in your family? Finally, what festival do you have during my

stay in xining? I will arrive on dec. 28 and leave on feb. 26. I hope there are

more interesting things to do together with your family.

I have many friends, and one of them is Lily. She is one of my best

friends. She lives in the same area with me. We become friends for three

years.Every school day, we go to school together. We have many things in common.

For example, we both like listening to the music, reading books and playing

badminton. We both study hard and do well in studies. We help each in study,

because we want to make progress together. I am happy to have such a good

friend.

照我家的规矩，春节差不多在腊月初旬就开始了。俗话说：“腊七腊八，冻死寒鸦”，但今年是个例外，天并不是很冷，是暖冬。在腊八这天，我家还会熬腊八粥，粥是用各种米，各种豆，与一些葡萄干、枸杞和山药等干果熬成的。 According to the rules of my family, the Spring Festival starts at the beginning of the month.As the saying goes: "Laba Qi Laba, frozen cold crow", but this year is an exception. The sky is not very cold, it is a warm winter.On the day of Laba, my family will still boil Laba porridge. The porridge uses various rice, various beans, and some raisins, wolfberry and yam.

为了准备过年，我也会买很多的鞭炮和烟花(放炮不一定是男孩子们的专利);我还会给自己买一个心仪的玩具。

我欢喜，大人们也忙乱。他们得预备过年吃的、喝的、穿的、用的，好在新年时显出万象更新的气象。

腊月二十三过小年，差不多是春节的“彩排”。天一擦黑，我也会忍不住到楼下放一些小炮和烟花，为我家添些喜庆。晚饭饺子醮醋，醋中必有一些捣碎的蒜末儿，轻轻咬上一口，那味道真是让人回味无穷，流连忘返，因此我的肚子也是圆鼓鼓的。

过了二十三，我家还会进行一次彻底的大扫除。妈妈也会准备一些鸡鸭鱼肉、海鲜和青菜。

除夕真热闹。我们是在奶奶家过的，大人们在厨房忙着赶做年夜饭，因此屋子里到处都飘着鱼肉的香味儿。全家人都穿上了新衣服，门外贴上了红红的对联，窗户上也贴好了红红的剪纸。到了晚上，全家一起围坐在桌子四周吃团圆饭。晚饭过后，八点钟大家会准时坐在电视旁，一边吃着各式各样的零食，喝着美味饮料;一边观看着精彩的春节晚会。外面的鞭炮声也是接连不断，震耳欲聋。从窗户向外看去，只见一簇簇的烟花直冲云霄，五彩缤纷的焰火把夜空照得五彩斑斓，把大地照射得如同白天一样明亮。

大年初一，我和妈妈给爷爷奶奶拜完年，就一起去街上溜达，只见地面上到处都是燃放的炮竹纸屑，街上也是人声鼎沸，热闹非凡。

初二，我和好朋友一起看了电影，还一起吃了美食，玩得不亦乐乎，在家长的催促下才依依不舍地告别。

初三，我和妈妈一起去给姥爷姥姥拜年。

一眨眼，春节已慢慢接近了尾声，大人们已经开始上班，我也快开学了，这就是我家的春节，它是幸福的，快乐的，难忘的。

Your letter and package reached me yesterday. You really give me a great surprise. I was wondering what was in such a nice package until I carefully opened it and found that you sent me an attractive present for my birthday. Thank you very much for your kindness, and I like the present, which will give me pleasure for a long time to come.

Again it is thoughtful of you to send me the present on my birthday. Yesterday evening my colleagues held a birthday party for me, including John Liu---I think you can remember---a nice tall boy, who invited you and I to his birthday last October. We enjoyed ourselves, and all of us mentioned your stay with us. We hope that you will come to China soon, if possible.

which can support them both in mind and in life. Friendship is one of the most

vital emotions.

It is not easy to deal with friendship. As for friendship, sometimes you
