America, they always choose New York as their destination. New York has many

Today, the meaning of this statue is admitted by the world and when people see

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

Spring Festival was my favorite Chinese festival when I was a child. At

that time, I had a great time. Every year at that time I could dress new

clothes, get lucky money from relatives and seldom receive criticism from my

mother. Everything seems such wonderful. However, as I grow up, I find Spring

Festival is less and less interesting. I just feel that as usual. What’s worse,

with the fireworks, I find Spring Festival is a noisy festival. So I don’t like

it any more.

Today is the annual national holiday, is a happy day.

她像一个软妹子的一大特点就是，她的声音永远都是柔柔细细的，而且还特别喜欢撒娇，还是那种趴在你身上就会很久的版本，虽然这也不是什么坏习惯，但是对于我这种女汉子来说，这是大忌!就像上次那样，她的同桌杨皓楠一不小心把她的东西给碰掉在地板上，她就开始发起了脾气，还是用那种撒娇的方式：“杨皓楠~~你到底在干什么呢啊~~真是讨厌的!你赶紧给我捡起来了啦~~讨厌死了~~”我看见我们这一大组和隔壁大组的鸡皮疙瘩都掉了一地，我差点没把牛奶给吐出来你们知道吗?还有啊，如果你干了什么好事情，也会惹来她那如潮的热情，再比如，杨皓楠……他那天把一道题目告诉了吴天天，吴天天呢?她的举动一定会让你思想扭曲的，吴天天把两只手架在杨皓楠的脖子上，嘴里肉麻地说着：“谢谢你啦~~”顿时，我们两大组的人全部“吐血”。我在想，杨皓楠是练过的吗?他居然反应几乎是没有的，后来我想了一下，如果再这么做，吴天天一定会再恶心他一次的，不就死的更惨了吗?

吴天天模仿神偷奶爸里艾格尼丝，也就是我的女神Cindy的声音特别惟妙惟肖。虽然她这种撒娇的方式让我很不舒服，但是，我觉得是一种对我表示友好的一种方式，我还是很喜欢她的。

朋友对于每一个人来说都是很重要的，它对于每一个人来说是一种财富，除了亲情是不可磨灭的，能与亲情媲美的就属友情了，我们可以没有爱情，但是绝对不能没有友情。我们应该珍惜身边的每一个朋友，你有时候会觉得，明明好像不是很在乎他，但是等他跟你说再见的时候，你会有一种莫名的难过，所以，要珍惜现在所拥有的一切感情，当他离你远去的时候才知道挽留就晚了，好好和你身边的朋友们相处吧!

原来如此，怪不得买这么多呢!我恍然大悟。

很快开始看春晚了，电视给了我一大惊喜---没费了。只好上爱奇艺搜同步直播，看的也不错。今年的春晚没有特别多的新歌，倒把“老歌”翻出来唱了许多，也邀请很多新人来。比方说，一开场把电视剧放了上去，杨导在思维上又跨了一小步。

在大年三十这个晚上，每个群中总会有红包。我的微信响个不停，一看，七大姑八大姨、男同学、女同学都发了红包，也抢了几个，没抢上的，只好在群里“投诉”发的人太小气，抢的人太快了。

爸爸才是“丰收”了，他公司的群里，老板发了每人8.88元的红包50份，妈妈就没有这么幸运了。

次日，我醒来了，丁酉年的第一抹阳光洒在我的身上。我对过去的一年做了个总结，学习要往高提，期末的分数令我有些失望，心理素质不太好，太爱电子设备，眼睛视力下降了……

但全新的一年来了，一切从零开始，我要把自己进行一次提升。

I’m a regular reader of your newspaper. I like it so much that I hardly miss any copy.

There are many advantages of Global Mirror. Firstly, Global Mirror covers both national and international news. By simply turning the pages, I can know all important things that have happened both home and abroad. Besides, the success stories of world-famous people are also attractive to me, which help me learn a lot from them. In a word, thanks to Global Mirror, we are well-informed and keep up with the changing world.

As a young student, I wish that I can be a master of English language. Therefore, I suggest that Global Mirror provide articles about English learning for us.

他，只是一个普通人，但和每一位父亲一样，拥有平凡的伟大。 He is just an ordinary person, but like every father, he has ordinary greatness.

我们之间有过分歧，有过误会，但在那看似不善言辞的面孔下，却是一颗对我满溢着浓浓的爱的心。

这两年，妈妈工作越发忙碌，他担心妈妈的身体，主动承担了家里的一日三餐，即使他也是整日在外奔波忙碌。起初，他做的饭实在是让人难以下咽，但我还是硬着头皮，每每夸赞一声“好吃”。慢慢地，他的手艺越来越精湛，而我的夸奖却反而越来越少，取而代之的是一声声不耐烦的催促“快点，我上学要迟到了……算了，不吃了!”

爱，在无形中，也被当作理所当然了吧?

“乖女儿，快来尝尝我新研制的营养大餐!”“哦!”我没好气地应了一声。我正在解一道复杂的数学题，刚有些头绪，却被硬拉去试吃菜式，心中难免有些不悦。

“最近，我看你学习压力挺大的，脸色好像有些不好，快来尝一尝我的营养大餐!”他一边说着，一边神秘地端上一盘样子奇怪的东西，黄的，绿的，红的……

“这是什么呀!”显然，我突如其来的一句话，让他有些惊讶，有些难堪。

望着他满是期盼的目光，再看看那样子奇怪的营养大餐。我一心只想快些去写作业，用筷子夹了一块，匆匆塞进嘴里，连味道都没尝出来，就吞进肚子里。本只想应付的说声“挺好吃的!”可他听后，却像中了大奖一般，高兴得合不拢嘴。“好久都没听你说句‘好吃’了，看样子，是真的不错!”

电击一般，我像被人掴了一巴掌，脸火辣辣地疼。

我不觉低下头，看着那被我轻视的营养大餐。呆呆地，又夹起一块，放进嘴里，慢慢品味，早已记不清是甜的，酸的，还是咸的，只记得空气中弥漫着一种苦涩的味道。

他，我的父亲，只是一个普通人，但在我心里，他永远是高大的。每一位父亲，都拥有平凡的伟大。
