I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

is the tallest building ever built. When people get there, they will see a woman

holding a torch of fire. In her feet, people can see the chains that are broken,

which means she gets away from the restrictions and chases for freedom. There is

The complete name of this statue is Liberty Enlightening the World. It is

the present from French people to American people. The meaning of friendship and

一进公园，我就被美丽的景色吸引住了。瞧，路边那一棵棵笔直高大的杨树披着一身绿色的军装，多像一个个守卫边疆的战士啊!杨树下，那一丛丛金灿灿的小花，多像一个个披着金色衣服的小姑娘，张着小嘴倾吐芳香，让人心醉。那边碧绿的草地，碧绿的高塔……看到这么美的景色，我们情不自禁地把美景深深地记在了自己的心里。

玩的莫过于金沙滩了。那是一个人造沙滩，与正常的沙滩没什么两样，就是从一个模子里出来的嘛!脱下鞋子，走在暖暖的沙滩上，仿佛在柔软的海绵上，舒服极了!都说“春江水暖鸭先知”我看还是我们先知道啊!而且，我还与同学们共同做了一个好看的沙雕呢!可惜这儿没有那些可爱的小生灵，像小螃蟹、小虾，不然会更有趣的!

我们在这次春游踏青中，也发现了美中不足：在大湖里有一堆令人作呕的垃圾，在垃圾旁有两条可怜的死鱼，无可奈何地翻着两只大眼睛，漂在水面上，任凭苍蝇叮咬。在这里，我向大家呼吁：“赶快保护环境吧!不然，最后受到惩罚的，是人类自己!”

春游踏青真好玩，不仅让我们看到了各种大自然的美景，还让我们感受到了春天的气息。

As is known to us all, the most precious thing in the world is nothing but

“today”. Therefore, it is necessary and significant for us to manage our time

efficiently. There are some suggestions and methods to manage our time.

First, the most important thing is to know and understand how we have spent

and managed our time before. Only in this way can we know in which we have

wasted our time. We can do this by sorting out all things we do every day and

then select the necessary thing and the wasted time.

Second, after the first step, what we should do is choosing the correct

time. As the saying goes, “to choose time is to save time”. For one thing, we

have to know and understand that which period we have more efficiency and have

better quality in work or study so that we know how to make our schedule. For

another, it is better to do the most important and urgent thing first in that we

barely have enough time to finish all task within a day.

Last but not the least, it is valuable to take full advantage of our

如今，我已经成为了一名初中生，科目的增加，学习的压力在一天天增长，休息的时间却在一点点缩短，而我对于书的依恋丝毫没有消减。中午、晚饭后便是我与它相约的时间。学校图书馆设在综合楼的三楼，偏僻而宁静，但我喜欢这里，高高的书架，整齐的排列着，深入其中可以闻到淡淡的书香。在这里我才能得到真正的放松，心灵才会得到洗涤。

他时常教我折纸，一张再普通不过的纸经过他的手总能变得非常新奇，一个个小船、一个个小动物……

我的爸爸十分理解我，只要我一做完作业，他马上就让我出去玩，做自己想做的事。在我学习上遇到难题时，总有一个人在后面的黑板上教我……

秋天，又是一个农民伯伯欢喜的季节，不但大地换上了一身新装，而且桔子也结了果，“不入梅花寒彻骨，焉得梅花扑鼻香”。桔子结了一个个拳头大小的果实，为农民伯伯增加了快乐，同时也为我家乡的风景增添了一些色彩。秋天虽然非常无味但也有一些其它季节无法比的一些奇特风景，比如飘下来的落叶像一位美丽的少女的空中，翩翩起舞。各种小动物也为粮食发愁，也都出来让人们欣赏它那美丽的特点。

冬天，大地又换上了一片雪白的衣服，天空也下起了点点滴滴的雪，许多大山也穿上了他们迎接新年的新衣，向人们展示它那独有的风光，所有桔树也穿上了新衣，一个个像整装待发的士兵，最有趣的还是可以在一望无际的大海。我和朋友们堆雪人，打雪仗，是多么的开心，可还有一些风光我不会用任何句子描写出来。

我的家乡是多么美丽，大地是多么的爱美。在我记忆中家乡是，比任何地方都美，但有一些风景是被人处处破坏了，已经没有以前的光辉了。

伯伯家养了一只小狗，伯伯经常带它去奶奶家。小狗除了肚皮是粉皮的，全身都是乌黑发亮的毛。第一次看见它的时候，我还以为它没有眼睛呢，因为它的毛是黑的，的眼睛也是黑的，远远看上去像一块黑炭似的，因此姐姐给它取名叫小黑，但等我走近了才发现它那黑黑的小眼睛龙眼核一般大小，滴溜滴溜地转，可爱极了。

小黑走起路来歪歪扭扭的，妈妈说那是因为小时候缺钙引起的，叫做“o“形腿。别看它走路像喝醉洒似的摇摇摆摆，但它的鼻子可灵了。有一次，趁小黑不注意，我故意在雪里埋了一块红肠。小黑在院子里像侦察兵一样，这儿闻闻，那儿嗅嗅。不一会儿它就锁定了目标，用前爪扒开雪，找到了那块红肠，生怕我们抢它的红肠似的，一口叨进嘴里，用力地嚼着，接着吞进肚子里，然后用舌头舔舔嘴巴，摇着它的小尾巴笨拙地走来了。看它得意的样子，炫耀似的看着我们，好像说：“跟我玩?没门!怎么藏我都会找到的。游戏太低级了，不和你玩了。”接着摇着尾巴，得意地走了，看它那得意样，我被逗得哈哈大笑。

别看它这么骄傲，它也有哀求别人的时候。有一次，我把它关在阳光上，就和妹妹在另一个房间里玩了。玩着玩着，听到一种怪怪的声音：似猫、似羊、非狗的声音。循声望去，原来是伯伯家的小黑呀!看它那可怜的样子，用乞求的眼光看着我们，嘴里轻轻地哼着，鼻涕都急得流出来了，那得意劲儿早不知飞到哪儿去了。我和妹妹看它可怜，就把它放了出来，它又是摇尾巴、又是作揖的，让人看了好喜欢。
