My Low-carbon life

With the development of society,low-carbon life becomes more and more important. Some people think it is very difficult to do.In fact,we can do a lot of things .

First, as a student,some of us can ride a bike to go to school, or walk to school every day.It can not only save energy but also it is good to our healty. Second,when we leave the classroom,remember to turn off the lights, so it can save electricity.And third, we can use the water circulary. Fourth,we can use the paper adequately .

I think if everyone does something for the low-carbon life,the world will become more and more beautiful.

It seems that people always have a desire to compare: am I prettier than others? Are we living in a better age? Or, as the question goes, is our life easier and more enjoyable than it was several decades ago? I would say no, as I have witnessed the struggle and paradox of our generation.

First of all, we are now living in an age of revolution with no previous human experience that could be referred to. Living in such a fast-changing world would not be easy and comfortable at all; with everything keeps changing, everyone has to move fast in order to catch up with the majority. However, people were much more stable and care-free when our grandparents were children; they did not have to learn a second language in order to get a better job, or read a lot in order to get informed. Yet in our age, these are supposed to be the responsibility of young people.

Another discomfort of our age is that we are experiencing interpersonal alienation. With the development of communication technology, people in fact become alienated with friends and relatives since they could be so easily accessed via phone or email. Too often we feel that few of our friends are true friends, without the traditional feeling of mutual affection which could only be created by longtime apart. But several decades ago, people treasured their friends and maintained relatively close interpersonal relations, which is much more enjoyable than the estrangements we are experiencing.

The last factor that has made our age so uncomfortable is the abusive use of technology. Although it brings much convenience, it essentially changes human – we are no longer the master of tools, but instead the slaves of devices. We rush to metro station in order to catch an early train, sit in front of radioactive computers all day long in order to get our work done, and stay in air-conditioned rooms all summer without experiencing the natural changes outside thick cement walls. Several decades ago, people could still live closer to nature and make rational use of modern technology, which to me is the essence of human living experience.

However, the comparison between different times is itself ridiculous. The criteria could not be easily determined, and opinions are highly personal. Anyway, we have a longer life span, more advanced medical facilities, and easier traffic than our grandparent when they were children, and we should treasure the present experience. Imagination of the past might only be nostalgia – if I ask my grandparents the same question, they might as well say that our life is much better than the past generations. Who knows? As long as the world is still peaceful, life at any time would not become too difficult to handle.

每年立冬，外婆背上背一包，手上提两包，满载而归。因为半年多没回来了，所以就会大扫除。我也跟着忙活起来，左扫扫，右擦擦，东跑跑，西跑跑，累得满头大汗，终于弄完了。大扫除之后，我们可饿了，吃饭时我们都吃得像小猪一样，连最后一粒米饭都不放过。壮壮更是饿了，他虽然没事做，但玩一天了，玩累了，喊渴了，就跑过来对我叫，好像在说：“喂，本王子饿了，快给我拿饭来。”我就对他说：“你呀你呀，还真以为你是衣来伸手，饭来张口的小王子。”壮壮嗯了一声，我就说：“还嗯，嗯你个头。”吃饱了喝足了，果然劳动后的饭菜最香了。我刚走出门就看见了被雪覆盖的大地，真美啊，刚准备去拿工具箱时，突然又不想拿了，坐着看看风景也不错，我又爬上屋顶，拿着望远镜看了看，竟然看见了北斗星，真是太神奇了！

Making Every Day Earth Day

Now the earth is in bad condition. For example, in some places, the air and water pollution is so serious that it causes many deaths. At the same time, many animals and plants are in danger because of the destruction of their habitats.

Luckily, we human beings have realized the problem. On April 22nd, millions of people across the world do something good for the earth. Some clean up beaches and water, some pick up rubbish, others give speeches to call on more people to take action. But can we save the earth only by one day’s work? The future of our planet depends on our efforts. What we should do is to make every day Earth Day. Only by taking good care of it every day can we hope to live in harmony with nature.

那是一个星期天，妈妈带我上农村姥姥家去玩。在那里，我经历了一件非常有趣的事，体验了有趣的乡村生活。

到了姥姥家，我看见外爷正在赶鸭子，于是，我下了车，也随手拿了一个小棍帮外公赶鸭子。我拿起棍，朝鸭子身上一打，打得鸭子直“嘎嘎”地叫，好像在说：“好疼呀！好疼呀！别打了！”外爷看见了，就说：“你在干什么呀！都把鸭子打惊了。”我听了，心想：我帮帮您，都不行吗？我正不服气地想着，外爷大声地说：“快让开呀！鸭子朝你那边跑去了。”我听了，连忙抬头一看，鸭子真的像疯子一样向我跑来，我吓得四处乱跑，可鸭子还是朝我的方向飞奔而来。

终于，我鼓起勇气，拿着棍向鸭子跑去，鸭子见我拿着棍，就连忙惊慌失措地朝相反的方向跑去。鸭子跑到了草丛里，别人家的鸭子也在草丛里，我看了，顿时傻眼了，这鸭子的羽毛都是一样的颜色，哪能分得出哪些鸭子是外爷家的呀！于是，我就跑去找外爷，外爷来了，他仔细地分辨那些鸭子。“姜还是老的辣”，外爷不一会就把自己的鸭子找了出来，简直是“火眼金睛”，我惊讶不已！外公趁鸭子聚集在一起的时候，就连忙拿起棍把鸭子赶出了草丛。

鸭子被赶了出来，我和外公决定齐心协力把鸭子赶回家。我先在后边用棍赶着鸭子，外公跑到鸭圈把圈门打开，然后有快速跑到我那里帮我赶鸭子。我和外爷一起用棍在鸭子后面打着地，发出“啪啪”声，让鸭子跑快点。终于，“功夫不负有心人”，我们把鸭子赶回了家。

到吃晚饭的时候了，外爷把一张桌子搬到门前，我问外爷：“外爷，为什么不在屋里吃饭，却偏偏在屋外吃饭呢？”外爷说：“这是习惯，我们每天晚上都这样。这外面凉快，空气又好，在这吃饭多好！”我听了，点了点头。心想：这乡村生活真是有趣！

我爱沈家门的高楼大厦，滨港路的夜排档，新街的步行街······但更爱乡村的田园风光。

乡村，美在庭院里。瞧！那爬满围墙的喇叭花滕，稠密的绿叶，衬着紫色和红色的花，又娇嫩，又鲜艳，犹如美丽的绸缎。丝瓜架长长的滕，绿绿的叶，挂着一根根笔直的丝瓜。半红半绿的辣椒羞羞答答地隐藏在茂密的绿叶中。五六只鸡鸭在四处觅食，嬉戏。

乡村，美在小河边。小河两岸有一排排长满了绿油油叶子的柳枝垂了下来，像一个个小姑娘在梳妆打扮。在春风吹拂下，她们是那样婀娜多姿。鸭子在水中戏水，有的吧头伸到水下去觅食，有的用翅膀拍打水面，水面上到处是波纹······在绿荫荫的柳树下，有几位妇女蹲在河边用木槌捶着衣服，木槌敲打的声音是那样有节奏，一上一下，一快一慢，犹如欢乐的旋律！

How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

暑假有来了。我很高兴我能忘掉学校至少一段时间。免得我我浪费了这个暑假,我做了一个计划如何度过我的暑假。首先,我认为我应该复习所有我的老师一学期教的那些东西,这样我就可以有更好的理解。然后我想我应该参加一些不同形式的运动,如散步、跑步划船、让我身体强壮。它的原看在这样的一个很好的计划,我应该好好利用我的休假。事实上我也这么 做了,因此我没有辜负了我的计划。

在去乡村的路上，那里的生活多么令我向往!

路的两旁有逐渐发黄的麦子和绿得发青的油菜，变成了一望无际的绿色和黄色的海洋，就连山里也有它们的踪迹。

乡村的房屋很别致，都是把一座大房子分成几间小屋，每间只有十几平方米，放着各种生活用品。

植物呢?平常都在院后搭一个小栅栏，里面种着月季、鸡冠花、菊花……它们在不同的季节轮流开放，非常漂亮。

狗，总是要养上一两只的，不是趴在门口睡觉，就是趴在墙根乘凉。等养的时间长了，母狗就会生出一窝小狗，趴在房顶上，对着行人叫。

傍晚，会看见一群老太太围坐在一起说说笑笑。而在另一边，一群老头在下象棋，许多赶完集的小伙子来到他们旁边，看着他们下，人越聚越多，最后连下棋的人都看不见了。

这美好的乡村生活，怎能不叫人留恋?

我的老家在阳谷，那里的景色挺不错的，但那里的生活比景色更美好。 2008年的那次中秋节，我们回老家过的。

我们到得最早，在车里待了半天的我第一个拉开车门，刚说了声“终于到了”就听到一声狗狗叫。“汪汪汪”的狗叫声越来越近，一条土黄色的大狗狗从一道红褐色的门里面冲出来直奔到我面前，两只前爪搭在我的胳膊上，像是在跟我问好。这时老姥爷和舅姥爷出来了，老姥爷说这条狗喜欢和你朋朋哥哥玩，它把你当成朋朋哥哥了。我听后心情有些失落。到了下午四点左右，哥哥们都来了，三个哥哥和那只狗狗玩了起来，而在墙角草堆上乘凉的那条小黑狗也跑过来和哥哥们玩耍。哥哥把吃剩的排骨扔出去，然后两条狗狗就去抢，小黑狗屡屡得胜，可怜的大黄狗体型太大、身体不怎么灵活，所以只抢到几次。 到了晚上八点，舅姥爷带我和非非哥哥、田田姐姐一起去看喂猪。舅姥爷边走边说：“去年那一窝小猪卖了十万元，今年那只老母猪又生了一窝小猪仔儿，小猪仔儿很能吃，大猪一天才吃两顿，小猪却要吃四顿，明天一大早五点还要去喂。”喂小猪时最有意思，在倒玉米面糊时小猪们挤在门口，叫着，一开门它们一拥而上，狼吞虎咽地吃起来，有的还把身子都放过去，示意这里都是我的! 第二天上午，阳光明媚，舅姥爷骑着三轮摩托车，带着我、三个哥哥还有田田姐姐和姨妈一起去掰玉米棒子。田地在一条宽阔的土路旁边，土路上挺热闹的，有赶牛的，放羊的，丰收的。到了玉米田，舅姥爷拿起镰刀，抓起一把玉米杆拦腰斩断，放在地上，眼看舅姥爷把玉米田里的几十排玉米都砍倒了，他们就开始掰了。我也去掰，可掰了半天也没找到半个。我忙问：“为什么我找不到玉米呢?”舅姥爷看了看说：“这里是根，在这是不会找到的。”又说，“你应该去中间找。”我又去中间部分找，果然，没多久，我找到的玉米堆了大半筐。乡村的生活真美好，可惜，有趣的时间总是短暂的，我后天得去上学，所以当天就得回家准备，但是我还是很期待下次见食量大的小猪，爱和人玩的小狗，一望无际的田野……

Before I entered the middle school, I felt so worried about the life in

middle school, because my cousin told me that I would have to compete with so

many excellent students. Now I get used to the life, I learn many subjects from

Monday to Friday. Though I always meet the difficulties in learning the new

knowledge, I get help from my teachers and classmates. I am not afraid of the

middle school life again, I am so excited to learn new things every day. In the

future days, I will meet many challenges, I believe I can get over them. Life in

middle school has happiness and sorrow, they fulfill my life.

The university life different secondary school life.And it is a problem that how should I adapt to college life.

I go to attend claeveryday morning excluding weekend .In the class I just listening to lectures, and my teachers and classmates discuss the problem.After  class, ofen i go to play basketball or badminton with my friends.

In the evening,i have two hours for study by oneself in scheduled time, and then go back to my dormitory and surf on the internet.At the weekend,i take part in some part-time jobs and go to the Einglish Corner sometimes.

All in all,life in the University is beatiful and substantial for me.And I believe I will achieve my self-value through  the university life .

With the development of science and technology, our lives have changed a

lot in the past century. Many things that wouldn’t happen before have come into

reality now. Therefore, our lives will change as well in the future. Our pace of

live will greatly speed up, because we will help many machines to finish our

work. Many things can be done autonomously. Therefore, people will have more

time for fun. People can travel the outer space freely. Space shuttle can bring

people to planets far from the earth. Human beings may live in other planets.

Besides, our environment will be much better than now, because some effective

Lowcarbon life is popular nowadays. Its aim is to reduce the energy in our dailylife, especially reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide.  It is well-known that  the air pollution is more and more serious. Sowe should do something to protect our earth.

如今，低碳生活是很受欢迎的。其目的是为了减少我们日常生活中所消耗的能量，尤其是减少二氧化碳的排放量。众所周知，空气污染越来越严重。所以我们应该做些什么来保护我们的地球。

Firstly,weshould take more  bus instead of drivingcars. As people’s living standard has improved, there are more and more peopledriving private cars. This phenomenon is one of the causes for air pollution. Becauseits gas will produce lots of carbon dioxide, which may enventually lead to airpollution. Secondly, when we leave our house or classroom, we would better turnof the lights, fans or airconditioning.

让我们唯一的地球变得更好，我们应该呼吁人们过低碳生活。这也将是未来的主要趋势。让我们为我们的地球母亲做点事情吧。

我早就想上农村去看看了。这次正好我姐姐放假，我就跟着去了她家。

到了姐姐家，刚一开门，迎面跑过来一只毛茸茸的白色小狗。哇!好可爱的小狗啊!他的眼睛大大的，看起来非常有神。他的鼻子小小的，圆圆的，看起来像两个真空管。它的耳朵跟别的狗不一样，可是根“猪”一样。大大的，呼扇呼扇就非常好看。他的尾巴毛茸茸的，像一把漏风的小蒲扇。在我们眼前摆呀摆，神气极了。

去那儿的第一天，就玩得非常高兴。逗狗，看电视……到了中午的时候，娘娘问我：“中午我们吃煮花生米可以吗?”“好。”我爽快地答应了。“那好，我们现在就开始吧!”只见她拿出了花生米倒在地上，用脚踩来踩去。见到这种情况，我马上问：“干吗要用脚踩呢?”她回答说：“这样扒的时候好扒，不胳得手疼。”也不知什么时候，小狗也过来了，它老在捣乱，气的娘娘一巴掌，正好打在小狗头上。吓的小狗趴在我板凳底下一动不动了。在扒花生的时候，我总是偷偷的喂小狗吃东西。就因为这样，小狗开始喜欢我了，我也开始喜欢它了。我顺嘴问了一句：“这只小狗有名字吗?”“有。”姐姐说。“它叫蛋蛋。”“这个名字好可爱啊!”

第二天中午，姐姐领我到后院，哇!后院的东西真多呀!有大的小的，老的少的，高的矮的，一排排，一列列，都在比美呢!我挨着个地看：有绿油油的黄瓜，有红彤彤的红芸豆，有红的桃，有黄的杏……我顺手摘了一根黄瓜，嘎嘣一下!哇!真甜啊!真脆啊!

晚上，我们三人出去抓蝉蛹。到了树林里，我们拿着手电筒分头行动，我和哥哥找这一排树，姐姐找那一排树。我们找了半天都没找到一个，我都有些泄气了。姐姐刚想过来劝我，可是还没等走过来，我忽然发现了一个蝉蛹。“哇!我终于抓到一个了”。我高兴得蹦起来，正好踩在一堆泥上，可是我仍然非常高兴。还别说，我们今天晚上收获的还真不少，一共捉了4个蝉蛹。

到了第三天，吃完早饭后，我们就一人扛着一把锄头上坡去了。到了坡上，我看到：草比人都高，树比人都直，花比人都美。我们的目标是一块花生地，我现在才知道花生的叶子都是有四片叶子组成的，旁边有许多的杂草在吸收着它们的养分，它们非常坏。娘娘说：“我们是来除去杂草的，开始干吧!”我们同时开动了锄头，向杂草发起进攻。不知不觉已经到了中午，也不知已经除了多少杂草，累的我们满头大汗。这时我想起了诗人李白做的一首诗：“锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土。谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦。”

不知不觉，已经过了三天了，是该回去的日子了，就这样，我告别了娘娘，告别了“蛋蛋”，告别了农村，回到了自己的家。

回来后，脑子里又浮现出这几天发生的事情，从小到大，这是我最喜欢，觉得最有意义的一次生活体验。
