The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. 外公热情地款待了我们。外公在自家西边的地里种了不少东西，有白菜、香菜、芹菜、丝瓜……外公不仅种蔬菜，还养鸡，养鸭，养狗。门前有一条小河，小鸭经常下河游泳，享受属于它们自己的快乐。河水很清澈，天气好的时候河面上波光粼粼，好像金子一样在阳光下闪闪发光。走进细看，河里有很多的小鱼，在水草间做游戏。一有时间我就坐在河边的草地上钓鱼。河的对岸还有十几棵杨柳树，它们总是在微风中向我轻轻地招手，似乎想和我聊聊天。有空的时候我总喜欢去那儿散散步，在草地上躺一会儿或坐一会儿，看看天上自由自在的白云，有时还美美地小睡一觉。

外公家的鸡特别有意思，常常在地里悠闲地踱步。有一次与别人家的鸡争东西吃，斗了半小时左右，终于大获全胜。等失败者垂头丧气地走开后，它们欢快地撒开腿跑上一段路，再啄啄自己身上的毛，很是得意的样子。还有啊，外公家的鸭互相照顾呢，那天晚上，我看见公鸭再放哨，母鸭趴在那儿甜甜的睡觉，过了一会儿，两只鸭子又自觉地换班了而那只狗更有意思，让它看门，它见了陌生人不仅不叫反而直摇尾巴，但见了别的狗，却会狂叫不止，免不了挨外公一顿臭骂。

乡村的景、人、物深深地印在我的脑海里，我喜欢乡村生活的朴实幽静，在那儿人的身心可以得到充分的放松 真心觉得不错

我的姥姥住在乡村，我喜欢去姥姥家。因为我非常喜欢那儿的生活。

那里的人们都住着小房子，人们都把房子修得平平的。但是，他们总爱在门前种几棵树，或种杨树，或种苹果树，让那些树枝都长得很茂盛。然后，果子熟了，摘下来，吃一口，让你感觉比城市里的那些买的果子好吃多了。

姥姥家养了六只鸡。一只黑的，一只白的，剩下的四只鸡都是黄的，它们不停地吃，不停地喝。反正尖尖的小嘴如一把剑一样没有闲过。那天中午，姥姥告诉我：家玉，那只母黄鸡要生蛋啦!“我听了，连忙要姥姥带我去鸡巢，我蹲在鸡巢旁边仔细观察，一观察就观察了四分钟，只见母黄鸡的脸涨得通红，喉咙发出急切的声音，爪子紧紧抓住旁边的稻草，屁股撅着，一副端庄的样子。

我正在琢磨着：什么时候才能把这个蛋生下来呀?忽然，它的眼睛一闭，屁股一挺，一个热乎乎的，圆圆的蛋生下来了!我非常高兴，连忙回去告诉姥姥说：”姥姥!姥姥! 黄母鸡生下来了一只热乎乎，圆溜溜的鸡蛋啦!“

瞧!在姥姥家的生活非常有意思吧!我喜欢姥姥家的生活!

我假期内虽不曾去旅游，可宅在家内的生活，也是百般有趣!
