The first thing I did was I made a plan for my study. I assigned my

time. And during my winter vacation, we welcome the most important festival in

我外婆就住在乡村，每年寒假，爸爸妈妈都带我去外婆家领略乡村生活的有趣：泉水里倒映着我愉快的笑脸;泥地上留着我欢快的脚印;长满绿树红花的山间回荡着我和伙伴们欢乐的笑声。乡村真美啊!

在外婆家，最有趣、可爱的就是和小伙伴一起玩火炮的“引线”了。就是将一两个没有炸的火炮捡起来，把“引线”抽出，把火炮中带蓝绿色的“火药”倒出来，把“引线”放在上面用打火机(或火柴)点燃，然后转身紧走几步，只听“嗖”的一声。那里便冒出了美丽的火花，火花的颜色可鲜艳了，一会儿是红的，一会儿又变成了绿的，一会儿又呈现出了最常见的黄色……变成蓝色时才有趣呢!时间总是只有两三秒：像蓝蓝的大海、蓝天，也像一株青蓝的草。颜色都那么美，大小形状就更美了：这些火花时而高、时而低，时而像一座小山，时而又成为了小草。多快乐啊!

Summer can be very hot in southern xx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.
