The last factor that has made our age so uncomfortable is the abusive use of technology. Although it brings much convenience, it essentially changes human – we are no longer the master of tools, but instead the slaves of devices. We rush to metro station in order to catch an early train, sit in front of radioactive computers all day long in order to get our work done, and stay in air-conditioned rooms all summer without experiencing the natural changes outside thick cement walls. Several decades ago, people could still live closer to nature and make rational use of modern technology, which to me is the essence of human living experience.

However, the comparison between different times is itself ridiculous. The criteria could not be easily determined, and opinions are highly personal. Anyway, we have a longer life span, more advanced medical facilities, and easier traffic than our grandparent when they were children, and we should treasure the present experience. Imagination of the past might only be nostalgia – if I ask my grandparents the same question, they might as well say that our life is much better than the past generations. Who knows? I have the same routine from Monday to Friday. I usually get up at five fifty. Then I have breakfast. At six thirty, I go to school. I don’t ride a bike. I go to school on foot. I have five lessons in the morning. I do morning exercises with my classmates after the second lesson. At eleven thirty, I go home for lunch. In the afternoon, I have three lessons. 爷爷很了解我，知道我爱吃这口。他总会在店门口停下来，解开背篓，放我下来，叫老板买两个红糖馍，要一张空桌子，用手擦擦凳子，叫我坐下。然后，一老一小在晨光中有滋有味的享受这难得的美味。说来也怪，我只喜欢吃那一家店的馍，其他店的，通常只是喝掉里面的红糖，至于外面的淀粉，我一般都不会再吃了。现在，每次回老家我都会买一个，但早已感觉不是小时候日日夜夜惦记的味道了。

平时爷爷奶奶都下地干活去了，我唯一的玩伴是一个叫柔柔的姐姐。因为辈分，我叫她姑姑。我们经常一起去河边玩泥巴，用泥巴捏成一个一个的小人，但也不敢玩太久，如果衣服湿了，被奶奶发现是要挨鞭子的。有时爷爷奶奶回来得比较晚，我饿了只能以冰糖充饥，所以我小小年纪便满口虫牙，疼得我整宿整宿睡不着觉。现在想想，牙又开始有点疼了！

which means they can enjoy themselves as possible as they can.

However, personally in my view, if we spend our whole life in pursuing

things only for ourselves, we will surely let ourselves down when we look back.

There’s an old saying that goes “The greatest use of life is to spend it for

something that will outlast it”. I can’t agree more. If there is a way to avoid

a disappointed life, it should be to try our best to find meaningful things

which can also make contributions to the whole society. Even a single man can

make a big difference to the world. Not to mention that everyone get together to

bring changes to the society.

It’s high time that we took measures to experience a meaning life. What’s

more, it’s never too late to start a meaning life. So be yourself, enjoy your

happiness and be helpful to others. That’s the meaning life worth living.

有人说，乡村有什么好玩的？到处脏兮兮的。而我却觉得乡村是最美的地方，那里有美丽的田园风光，是城市不能相比的。

每天早晨随着一声声鸡鸣，我便起床，跟着奶奶一起去田里插秧，说是去插秧，其实就是去玩的。到了田里，总会有几个也和我一样来玩的伙伴，只要有几个孩子在田间相遇，那里顿时热闹非凡。我们几个孩子在地上捡一些树叶，再在田埂上摘几片青菜叶，就可以玩起过家家了。

玩够了，就跑到油菜地里玩捉迷藏，不知不觉一个上午就过去了。

中午我们都会被拉回去吃饭。我最爱吃奶奶做的饭菜了。奶奶蒸的米饭总会香喷喷的，感觉不吃菜都可以来上几大碗，奶奶炒的菜总会让人口水直流。每次我总会吃得肚子撑得圆圆的才肯放下碗筷。

午觉过后，我们又会不约而同地来到家门口的场院上玩起来，大家肯定很好奇，农村里什么都没有，你们能玩什么呢？

其实啊，我们能玩的可多了：老鹰捉小鸡、捉迷藏、摸瞎瞎、捉蛐蛐？不过，我们大家最喜欢的还是要数爬树摘水果了。

在我们那里我算比较小的，爬树奶奶不让，所以我就只能在树下等着。在我家后院，种着一棵高大的桃树。大一些的孩子就会爬上树，摘几个大大桃子下来，洗净后几个孩子分着吃，那味道酸甜酸甜的可好吃了。

乡村的景色在我心中是最美的，乡村的生活在我心中是最快乐的。我永远忘不了在乡村生活的那一段时光，我爱这美丽的乡村生活。

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

寒假期间，我的生活没有什么不同。每天早上十一点我醒来，洗后，我和我的父母有一个很好的午餐。然后我玩电脑游戏，直到吃晚饭的时间。晚餐后。我继续玩到凌晨二点，然后去睡觉了。这是我寒假无聊的一天。

But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

但我还没有厌倦所有的时间。有时我读的书，有时我听音乐或收音机在床上，因为外面很冷而且整天下雪。我还肉我的一些好朋友在假期，我们在过去的一年里对彼此的生活很长的谈话和打乒乓球。我看了中央电视台春节晚会在2004年最后一秒!我认为这是中国的大多数人当时做的。

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. the weather was hot. my little brother and i decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. it took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. the we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” we were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. as quickly as possible. we swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. he lost his consciousness. we sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

In the end, we were worn out, but felt happy. that day was meaningful. we did a good deed!
