With the gloomy prospect of returning to school, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome, which refers to a general feeling of depression before returning to campus life, which is caused by irregular lifestyles during the holiday. 第二个不同点：这里还有一个不同的风俗习惯，那就是，不管客人来或是走，都要放鞭炮迎送。由于姑妈和姑爹都是老师，所以前来拜年的学生络绎不绝，走了一批又来一批，姑妈家真是车水马龙，桃李满天下啊!但是，姑妈和姑爹都忙不过来，所以，放鞭炮这个重任就交给了我和哥哥，这可把我们乐坏了!可是，坚持了十分钟，就已经累得气喘吁吁了。

真是帮忙——越帮越忙啊!常常是客人进了屋，我们的鞭炮还没响;客人已经走远了，我们的鞭炮才刚响。这可累坏了我们两个“迎客小门童”啊!

在姑妈家过的这个新年真是与众不同!又新奇、又好玩!这就是我寒假中经历的最难忘的一件事!

“北京时间十一点，紫金五圣商业中心为您报时！”随着这清脆的钟声，我的“熬夜计划”终于隆重登场了了。我从小到大就有一个迷，那就是人们躺在床上进入梦乡的夜晚到底是怎样的，有特别新鲜的事情会发生吗？这次，我决定要解开这个迷。

假期的一个夜晚，我、爸爸和妈妈三人待在家里，各自干自己的活。妈妈看电视，爸爸看报纸，而我则准备“熬”夜要用的用品，我准备了一些吃的、玩的、看的、听的，就好像要搬家似的。

爸爸妈妈先后上床睡觉了。我的计划开始了，先打开电视机，换了几个台，也没有看到感兴趣的节目，我好不容易找到了一个动画片，可又完了，于是关了电视。唉！“第一计划”失败了。

家里真安静啊，爸爸的鼾声在从卧室里溜出来了。

接着我又进行第二个计划：吃。我把从超市里买来的东西拿出来，狼吞虎咽地吃了起来，可我总觉得越吃越困，浑身没有力气，时不时还会倒下。这时已是2点多了。窗外黑黑的，有风吹过的声音。我十分地困，但是努力撑着。

为了不让自己睡着，我把MP3插进耳朵里，把音量调到最大，一下子就没电了。该怎样打发剩下来的夜晚时光呢？正在我犯愁时，突然听到了一声“鬼叫”，吓得我面如土色，一溜烟躲进被窝里。

算了，还是睡觉吧。不行，我的熬夜计划不可以这样半途而废的！时间过得真慢啊，好像停滞不动了，一切都那么安静，什么新鲜的事情都没有。难道夜晚是那么没劲吗......

天终于 慢慢亮了，我已困得浑身无力......

唉，我这个“熬夜计划”终于结束了。虽然很痛苦，但使我明白为什么“熬”夜的“熬”要用这个“熬”。原来是因为夜里的时间就像一壶开水，被慢慢的熬干......

The person I admire is my teacher. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Students all enjoy her class. My teacher is not only a good teacher, but also a great mother. She is patient with me and always smiling while talking. My teacher teaches me how to think independently and helps me to build up my confidence. When I have some difficulties in my studies, it is my mum who encourages me to work until I solve the problem. I remember when I caught a fever at midnight last year, my teacher took me to the hospital as fast as she could. When we got home after my injection, it was about 5 oclock in the early morning. My teacher only slept 2 hours because she had to wake up at 7 oclock to prepare breakfast for me, and then she went to work. She must be very tired that day.
