夏天到了，大热天，我们常常可以看见狗总是在吐舌头，而不见狗出汗呢?原因很简单，那是因为狗的汗孔长在舌头上。

小狗真不愧为人们所喜爱，这是它用自己真正的本领换来的。

New Year is the most grand festival for the Chinese nation, on this day, no matter how far apart, people all want to go back to home, with parents, family reunion. In the heart of every Chinese, Spring Festival has the extremely important status.

The Spring Festival is my favorite holiday, because on this day, I can eat a lot of delicious food, also can get lucky money, more importantly, on this day, we are a large family to gather together together, recounting and wishing each other. 春节的重头戏是年夜饭，年夜放上，因有尽有，每次，我总会吃的十分过瘾。吃完了饭，我们会在电视上看春节联欢晚会，简称“春晚”，春晚上，各路英雄齐上阵，台上台下，欢歌笑语，共庆新春。祝福我们的祖国，祝福我们的民族繁荣昌盛，生生不息。

In schools all over the world boys and girls are learning foreign languages。 Many adults are

doing so in their spare time。 Everybody knows his own language， but to know another is very useful。

Which is the best way to learn a language? We should remember we all learnt our own language well when we were children。 If we could learn a second language in the same way， it would not seem so difficult。 Think what a small child does。 It listens to what people say and tries to imitate what it

hears。 When it wants something， it has to ask for it。 It is using the language。 It is talking and thinking in it all the time。 If one has to use a second language all the time， he would learn it quickly。

It is important to remember， also， that we learn our own language by hearing people speaking it not by seeing what they write。 We imitate what we hear。 In school， though you learn to read and write as well as to hear and speak， it is best to learn all new words through the ear。 Of course you also learn to read them， spell them and write them。

世界各地的学校中孩子们都在学习外语。很多成年人在业余时间也在学习外语。每人都懂自己的母语，但知道另一门语言也非常有用。
