However, I knew very well that I could not succeed without painstaking efforts. So I studied hard in the middle school and college in order to attain my goal.

After graduating from college, I found a job as a teacher.Although I was very busy with teaching, I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to get more knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt from the books. Sometimes, I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot my meals and time. Now I have made great progress. Several of my research papers have been published. The methods proposed in my papers have been proven to be valuable for the solution of some problems. I am very happy.The ladder of becoming a scientist is still far ahead, but I have climbed the first rung anyway.

大家晚上好！

作为高一六班的一名学生我为能站在这里发言而深感荣幸。今天，在这次大会上，我们要明白我们所肩负的责任，以此来指导以后的学习，并见证我们为实现自己的目标而正在付出的努力。

不要误会我说的话，我这里说的目标，并不单指学习的目的和计划，而是对未来的梦想和对今后生活的规划。高中是一个台阶，是一个告别孩童时代，步入成人社会的台阶。而想要成功跨过这个台阶的最佳方法就是学习，只有通过学习知识，了解文化，我们的心灵才能得到充实。在面临挑战与挫折时，才能鼓起勇气去应对。我们在今后的社会生活中才能有更强的竞争力，从而获得更优质的生活。

虽然学习的确是一件痛苦的事，无论是复杂的单词，还是繁琐的公式，当这些东西摆在我们面前时，我们总是会感到心烦意乱，出现懈怠的情绪。其实这都是很正常的事，因为玩是人的天性，很少有人真正的喜欢学习——我说的是单纯为了应付考试的学习。可是，我们应该明白我们的责任，明白我们肩上背负的不是别的，而是自己的未来，我们要对自己今后的生活负责，所以我们不是为了任何的其他人而学习，要明白这一点是很重要的。

I have a dream that I am always young. Then I will have enough energy to do everything whenever I want. Moreover, I dont have to worry about the old age during which I even cant take care of myself. I know that my dream will not come true. However, I think it is lucky that I am young now. So I will treasure my time, enjoy my life and try my best to do everything well.

In my mind, everyone shall have his own dream. I think that having a dream

My dream is to become a successful stateman, helping those people who need
