Some effective measures must be taken to slove this problem. The major cause for traffic accidents is people’s lack of safety awareness. Completing a safety driving education course is a very important way to reduce the number of traffic accidents. The key point for this issue is people’s awareness towards safety. It is a long-term goal rather than a single course for safety driving. The best way to solve the troubles is that we all abey the traffic rules. First, we cant get through red light and must observe traffic order. Secondly, tell our relatives not drive after drinking. This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city, Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there, it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills, such as, the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Students,the Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

I went to summer camp on vacation. On the first day, we went to a beautiful beach. It was a sunny and hot day, so we went swimming. The water was warm and we had great fun. Then the next day, we went to the mountains. There were many trees and I really enjoyed them. On the last day, we had a great party. We sang and danced happily. We didn’t want to leave(离开) the friends and the teachers. I hope I can go to summer camp again next year.

My hometown is in Gansu Lixian, there are many mountains.

In the distance, the mountains look like a green planet surrounded by forests. The stone on the mountain dressed the mountain as a world of stone.

The trees grow more luxuriantly in summer and dress up as green cashmere. The mountain terraces like people walking the steps, also like the mountains in Grandpa smile.

The mountain became a yellow world in autumn, and the fruits and crops were ripe, and the mountain was like a magician, constantly changing crops and fruits for human beings.

In winter the mountains covered with a white dress, like an angel, in the fog, the mountains like a bottomless mountain, no matter how you cant see the mountain bottom.

This is the mountain of my hometown all the year round, I love it.

You take notice in some places, youll see the fact that most smokers are young people and even some are middle school students. It is said that in China the number of the people smoking is about 0.3billion.

Why do so many people smoke? Some think that smoking is pleasure, some believe that they can refresh themselves by smoking. In fact, smoking is a bad habit, which has great harm to peoplehealth. The study of smoking shows that many kinds of illnesses have something to do with smoking. Smoking itself is a waster. It costs one so much money, Besides, many fires are caused by careless smokers. Today more and more people all over the world want to give up smoking. If you’re mot a smoker, don’t start.

Li Yan, an engineer, was born on February 9, 1965 in Beijing, China. After

he graduated from Qinghua University in 1987, he made an important decision in

his life. He decided to go to the United States for his further study. After

four years hard work, he mastered new management ideas an advanced technologies

in computer field. In 1992, he got his doctors degree. he made another

decision that to return to his motherland and started a company. However, his

wife and daughter had got used to the American way of life, so they still stay

in the United States. But they still can meet frequently, because of the

convenient transportation, and his wife and daughter often visit him in

holidays.
