I’m a 20 year-ol d boy, and the following is my story.

A month after I graduated from high school in August, 2013, I was coming home from swim_practice in the training centre of the city and was involved in a car accident. I was so seriously injured that I was in a coma for more than two months at Prince Georges Hospital.

I suffered a lot from the experience of dying eight times during my coma and I couldn’t open my mouth to talk or to communicate when I eventually came around. But I was not going to let my injuries stop me from realizing my dreams．

After receiving a total of 15 operations and 36 blood transfusions, I had to make every great effort to learn to talk, eat, walk, shower, and live on my own again. When I was out of hospital,_I still had to go to outpatient therapy in Waldorf, Maryland. After I spent a few months in a wheelchair,_I took baby steps to walk on my own. It was a miracle that

I was able to walk again, but I still wanted to prove that I could not only walk, but also run.

When it came true, I wanted to get back into the pool again. After having a few lung tests, I was able to go in the pool a little bit each week. After a few months of swim training,_I began my freshman year at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and then became a proud member of the swim team.

On the New Year’s Eve, the whole family sits around, having a

My College Life

How time flies! I have been in Zhejiang Gongshang University for a semester. In retrospect, my college life is busy but colorful. Different from my senior high school’s life, the whole new life I led is much freer. I arranged my time,

becoming the master of myself.

First of all, study is still the core of my life. I major in Japanese which is both interesting and challenging. We are required to be accomplished in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating. As a result I had to spend most of time in improving my abilities. Besides of the regular courses, I often attended the lecture and went to the library to eich my knowledge, and I do benefit from what I learnt.

As to the after school life, what I consider most meaningful is joining the YVP to serve society. I think it is the responsibility for every university student to make contribution to the community. Little as my effort is, I tried my best to help the people around us. Once the YVP organized us to sell secondhand books and raise the money to help the people indeed.

In addition, I quite enjoy the travels and the bees. Travels let me experience the sunshine, fresh air as well as the special taste of the local customs and practices. While the bees keep the friendship shining, and friends are as if family members. Both of them lit up my life.

All in all, the college life is a journey, and I have long way to go; all the memory is the most precious treasure, and I will value every moment.

For several hours into the night I helped build fires and keep an eye on the younger children. Occasionally I, too, lit a torch and ran around like a mad man, screaming and waving a flaming bamboo pole.

春节，即农历新年，俗称过年，一般指除夕和正月初一。但在民间，传统意义上的春节是指从腊月初八的腊祭或腊月二十三或二十四的祭灶，一直到正月十五，其中以除夕和正月初一为高潮。春节历史悠久，起源于殷商时期年头岁尾的祭神祭祖活动。在春节期间，中国的汉族和很多少数民族都要举行各种活动以示庆祝。这些活动均以祭祀神佛、祭奠祖先、除旧布新、迎禧接福、祈求丰年为主要内容。活动丰富多彩，带有浓郁的民族特色。

In south China, the favorite and most typical dishes were nian gao, sweet  steamed glutinous rice(糯米)pudding and zong zi (glutinous rice wrapped up in  reed(芦苇)leaves), another popular delicacy.

In the north, steamed-wheat bread (man tou) and small meat dumplings were the  preferred food. The tremendous amount of food prepared at this time was meant to  symbolize abundance and wealth for the household.

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China 。It’s to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year 。In the evening before the Spring Festival ，families get together and have a big meal 。In many places people like to set off firecrackers 。Dumplings are the most traditional food 。Children like the festival very much ，because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes 。They can also get some money from their parents。 This money is given to children for good luck 。 People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good。

This winter holiday I stayed at home. I am happy because my father and my mother could spend more time with me during the Spring Festival. Besides, on the eve of the Spring Festival, we had a great family reunion dinner and then we watched Spring Festival Party on CCTV1. Sometimes, I reviewed my lessons. I had a very wonderful holiday.

整个寒假我都呆在家里，我很高兴因为春节期间我的爸爸和妈妈能够花更多时间和我在一起。而且，在新年前夕，我们一家吃了团圆饭，然后我们看中央电视一台的春节联欢晚会。有时，我复习功课。我度过了一个非常愉快的假期。

As the most important festival in China since ancient times, the Spring Festival is always being excepted by we kids. Because we dont need to do any homework during this time very year.Its really a precious holiday for us. And our parents are free from their work too. We go to our grandparents to get together with them to enjoy the moment when the new year comes.

I will priciate if the holiday to be longer.

作为一直以来中国最重要的节日，春节总是带给我们这些小孩美好的期待。首先，在这春节期间我们不用写作业了。这对我们来说真是弥足珍贵的假日。我们的父母也放假，所以我们能一起去爷爷奶奶家欢度新年，一起享受新年钟声敲响时的快乐。

当然，如果这假期长一点的话我们会更开心的。

Before the New Years eve, my grandma and two aunts to everybodys five zang-organs temple, and ready to cook a big table of delicious of fine cuisine. But due to the exquisite cuisine to wash, cut and boiled, so later, my mother and I went to help.

A: wow! Plates of food on the table, fragrance coveted. "Run!" In grandmas behest, everyone cant wait to put the delicious food into his mouth. Finish eat surround furnace is the culmination of a meal to deliver a red envelope! After sending the red envelopes, everyone watching TV and drinking beverages, had a happy New Years eve.

The first morning, we got up very early, because father will take us to "spend opened restaurant" and play the night market. In "the restaurant" flowers, everyone see a singer to sing in the outside, but I went to the back of the lovely faunal region; There is a proud peacock, there are "terrible" musk pig! naughty I went to pulling weeds feed musk pigs, feed in the middle, suddenly, "shout!" A sound, like quiet sky suddenly gave a thunder, I ran away, back to mom and dads side. Next, is to go to the night market to eat! After eating the "o" oven "mutton soup, frontier car we drive home!

The Spring Festival had a really interesting and make me benefit from, let me see the lovely musk pig is "terrifying". Hope that the next Spring Festival can also so interesting.

除夕之前，奶奶和二婶婶为了大家的五脏庙，因而准备烹煮一大桌色香味俱全的精美美食。但是由于精美美食要洗、切和煮，所以后来我和妈妈就去帮忙。

哇!一盘盘美食上桌了，香味让人垂涎三尺。”开动!”在奶奶的一声令下，大家迫不及待的把香喷喷的食物塞到口里。吃完围炉饭后的重头戏就是发红包啦!发完红包后，大家边看着电视，边喝着饮料，过了一个快乐的除夕夜。

初一早上，我们起了个大早，因为爸爸要带我们去”花 开了餐厅”以及夜市玩。到了”花开了餐厅”，大家都在外面看歌手唱歌，我却跑去后面的可爱动物区;里面有高傲的孔雀，还有”可怕”的麝香猪呢!调皮的 我跑去拔草喂麝香猪，喂到一半时，突然，”吼!”一声，宛如宁静的天空突然发出一阵响雷，我赶紧跑走，回到爸妈的身边。接下来，就是去夜市吃东西啦!吃完 “阿灶伯”羊肉汤后，我们就边塞车边开车回家啰!

这次的春节过得很有趣，也使我获益良多，让我见识到可爱的麝香猪也是很”可怕”的。希望下次过春节也可以这么有趣。

There are many customs in Spring Festival in China. One of them is the Spring Festival couplets. Everyone picks up Spring Festival couplets on the streets. After picking up and selecting carefully, they choose their satisfied Spring Festival couplets and paste them home. Families with festive couplets, in order to bless the family can have good luck in the new year.

In addition to wearing new clothes, children are most happy to receive red envelopes. Every year you can receive a considerable amount of money to use it to buy what you like, and you say children are unhappy.

The new year is really busy!
