I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. My mother is sixty-three years old, and for the last forty year she has

been the village doctor. She has a small clinic that she prepares medicine and

我在广告上看见全国一年仅餐饮浪费就相当于倒掉了两亿人一年的口粮，这是一个惊人的数字，由此可以看出我们的浪费是巨大的。而且，中国的浪费不是一点点，我们从不注意汽车排放的尾气、电池埋在土里的危害……由此中国成了一个“浪费大国”。

怎么才能做到环保?这是一个有简单又复杂的问题。我觉得“从小事做起”才是这道题的答案，从不把垃圾随便一扔做起，从以后购物都自带购物袋做起，从出门多乘公交车做起，从少用一次性筷子、餐盒起……环保需要做什么?少吃动物、用环保电池、少用空调、把水重复使用、随手关水龙头，将废纸再次利用等许许多多的方式，只要对环境保护有贡献的方式，都算是环保。

下午开会，高三百日冲刺动员大会。学校要求班主任和科任教师，高三全体学生都参加会议。

会场高挂横幅，“高考百日冲刺动员大会。”主席台上落座领导及教师代表和学生代表一人，共11人。各自对着桌子上的各自姓名牌坐下。主席台地位高于球场1.2米，台上的领导们给人们鹤立鸡群的很显眼的感觉。

台下是高三学生，和各班班主任。我认真看了一下，没有科任老师参加。

会议开始，主持人介绍台上就坐领导及老师。然后依次按流程完成台上该发言领导的阅读稿件程序。最后散会。我发现，到散会了，我都还没有感觉到百日冲刺的目标在哪里。学生也回去了，不知道他们除了知道开会坐主席台的威风之外，到底还知道些什么，或且通过死气沉沉的会议学到些什么。至于高考动员，效果如何，学生最有发言权，毕竟参加高考是他们的事。

校园，育人的圣地。老师，行为世范。学校的行为，深刻影响着学生的人生观。我想，校园的行政官气也只能带给学生的官腔横行。老师的腔调，换来的只是涣散的人心。科任老师的缺席，可见一斑，凝聚力的缺失，是不是也因为腔调的作怪呢?是的，我们是老师，老师是育人的典范。与为人处世相违背的腔调，只是说明肤浅，甚至无知。对育人对学生的成长是没有任何意义的。

教育学生，要成功的教育，那就不需要腔调，而是需要平等的交流，对学生善意的引导，高中学生是理解的。

就说百日冲刺，应该不是几个老师读读稿件就结束了事。百日冲刺，言下之意，要让学生们唤醒内在的信心，自信的，专心的迎接高考，就是要让学生们心中充满激情充满希望的充满信心的迎接高考。方法就是通过号召和互动的方式。然而，行政般的官场式的百日冲刺动员大会，到底效果如何，难说。

哎，高中校园里的腔调，到底会带来什么样的教育效果，我也不知道。反正我知道，友好平等的相处是凝聚力的基础。

today， i still went to my mother‘s office. my mother was very busy， so was my father. they always live in beijing. they must get up early. because they will manage the factory. so i know they are very laborious. so i should save my money. also i should help them. although i can’t do something useful， but i think i should share the work with them. i am one of my family member. in the future， i will take a job and work. it‘ time for me to begin to learn how to work.

[初一英语日记《暑假》

三年时间飞逝，我们现在已经站在了离高考仅剩一百天的冲刺线上。此时此刻，我们面对的，将是我们12年来的学习生活中最重要的抉择。

12年的时间，足以让我们从蹒跚学步的孩子成长成为了现在脚步坚定的成年人。回想这12年的历程中，我们首先要反思，在这12年里，我们到底错过了多少机遇，到底荒废了多少梦想，到底有多少时间在我们的犹犹豫豫和无所事事中被白白放走。

一百天，高考就横亘在我们的眼前。高考在现在众多的比赛中，同样是年轻的战场，同样是层层的选拔，同样需要全心的投入与付出，但高考，它不像聚光的舞台那样充满鲜花和掌声，更多的是平淡甚至是单调的学习生活。

没错。不是高三的学生，不知道高三的学生累;不是高三的老师，不知道高三的学生难;不是高三的学生家长，不知道高三的学生苦。

我们从很久以前就开始抱怨高考，然而等我们再长大一些就会发现，我们的成长注定与一场接一场的比赛联系在一起，而高考是所有比赛中最公平、最干净、最透明的。高考，或许是仅凭我们自己的实力说话的机会，高考之外，出身平头百姓家庭的我们，在各种各样的机会面前，会无力和无奈得多。在当今中国，高考是所有可能的选择中最不坏的一个。真正的强者从来都不像局外人那样牢骚满腹、指手画脚，对于既定的竞争规则，他们的选择永远是勇敢地冲锋。

一条蛇躺在绵延的戈壁滩，在烈日暴晒下褪去了一层皮，它痛苦并煎熬着。也许希望日光温和了一些之后，继续它的旅行，它若喘着一口一口的气，思忖着。

犹如人潮翻涌在大街上，熙熙攘攘的形形色色的人，无暇去顾及别人，拿着自己手上的活，大脑迅速运转。因为我们也有目标。向上的目标，使得我们更高，更快。更强的目标。当你累了，想要驻足观察这个世界的时候，这个世界会给你最冷静最客观的视角，待你去发现。它会给你重新审视自己的机会。那是因为我们都是凡人，作为凡人，总该经历伤痛之后，重新定位自己。不要让自己再受伤了。古人云“吃一堑，长一智”，要懂得其中的智慧，我们有着普通的血肉之躯，所以要依靠这副皮囊，要自信自己的力量，力量的源泉需要依赖这副皮囊爆发出来。迎向一些让你身心疲惫的困难，勇敢地面对。

蛇疲软地躺在戈壁滩上，它是需要一股活力的。

确实自信是一切永恒的动力，当你无助无奈的时候，它会帮助你，给你力量，让你更出色地达成目标。

假使有一支箭，则需要一个张弓的人，勇敢无畏地拉开它射出去。要把这张弓拉开，则需要更多的自信，把弓拉得更开。当弓弩一张，箭射向比想象更遥远的地方，那关公射大雕也不过如此了，这支箭闪着美丽的弧度，是自信给了它划过天际的美丽瞬间。这一瞬间是值得铭记的。

你遭遇了一切风波，来到了一座孤岛，这里只有山，连绵的山。面前只有一艘破旧的航船，而你手中只有一把剑。为了生存，你别无选择，只要驶离此地，你就会发现更多的精彩人生，永远你把握手上的机会，在凭借点自信。那么，相信吧，奇迹会出现，因为俗话说“没有过不去的坎”。

蛇扭动了身躯，与滚烫的沙子接触，它做了决定，勇往直前。

我们有理由相信的是我们都应该是自信的，谁没有短暂而又迷茫的时刻?

大街上的人有垂头丧气的，有意气风发的。我们又该怎么会想得到某年某月某日，他们人在何处，留着怎样的心酸，淌着怎样的伤疼。别人不易看出来的伤疤，在痊愈之后也难以消散的阴霾，有怎样在一个个血淋淋的血肉之躯上反复上演着。所以我们自信，自信是阳光赐予的力量。自信让我们开朗，积极向上。

自信是属于阳光的力量，足以挑开阴霾见彩虹。

Summer Vacation

I enjoy summer vacation very much.

Because summer vacation is the longest vacation of the year.

We have more than fifty days to rest.

Though it is very hot, we can either go to swim or stay in the air-conditioned room .

In the evening, I like to go shopping with my friends.

We can eat many things in summer, such as ice creams, watermelons, grapes, and so on.

In summer, I always go on a trip with my parents.

Its a good chance for us to visit some nice interesting places.

Not only we humans upon earth, there are lots of animals. Humans and animals are good friends, so we need to protect animals. There are many animals are endangered in the world, such as the giant panda, Chinese sturgeon, manchurian tiger, and so on. However, my favorite animal is the highest level of protection in our country.

Because of his long fat, very cute. The giant pandas main food is bamboo. But because people cut down trees, the giant panda food less and less, so we should protect trees. There are some animals, because they do not adapt to the environment, is nearly extinct. So we need to protect the environment, love the nature. Let us and animals can live harmoniously in the earth. Students, animal is priceless to human nature, is our friends of human beings. Their life is closely related to our life.

The mass extinction of animals can cause serious ecological imbalance, so that our human living environment is destroyed. Lets start from me, start from now, to protect animals. Let the world a better place!

地球上不只有我们人类，还有许许多多的动物。人类和动物是好朋友，所以我们要保护动物。世界上有许多动物都濒临灭绝，比如说大熊猫、中华鲟、东北虎等等。然而，我最喜欢的动物就是我国一级保护动物大熊猫。

因为他长的胖胖的，很可爱。大熊猫的主要食物就是竹子。但是由于人们砍伐树木，使大熊猫的食物越来越少，所以，我们要保护树木。还有一些动物，因为不适应环境，已经快要灭绝了。所以，我们还要保护环境爱护大自然。让我们和动物能够和谐地生活在这个地球。同学们，动物是大自然给人类的无价之宝，是我们人类的朋友。它们的生死与我们的生活息息相关。

动物的大量灭绝会造成生态的严重不平衡，从而使我们人类的生存环境遭到破坏。让我们从我做起，从现在做起，保护动物。让世界变得更加美好吧!

Travelis a very good means of broadening a person s perspective. It makes you come into contact with different cultures, meet people of different colors and go through peculiar rites and ceremonies. Travelling much, you will not only enrich your knowledge and experiences, but also be aware of the vastness of nature.

Travel may also relieve person of boredom and gloom. Travel brings you enjoyment and attraction. It gives you a pleasant experience, which will disperse your boredom and make you forget whatever annoys you. Travel broadens your mind and leaves you good memories. Later, you may go over these memories and enjoy your past experiences, thus keeping a fresh and sunny mind.

Travelers can choose different modes of transportation which have advantages and disadvantages. Airplanes are the fastest but also the most expensive. Buses and trains are less expensive, but they soon make you feel cramped and uncomfortable. Ships provide you with comfort unless you get seasick. Most people can afford traveling by bicycle, which, although slow, can limber up your muscles and get you closer to nature.
