中秋节吃月饼已成为中国人过节不可缺少的一部分。中秋节吃月饼相传起始于明代。明代开国皇帝朱元璋命令属下把“八月十五夜起义”的纸条藏进饼里，再派人传到各地起义军手中，通知他们起义，就这样起义军一举推翻元朝。此后朱元璋决定，每逢八月十五中秋节，必吃月饼。

我拿着一个月饼，走到桂花树前，顿时一股清香铺天盖地地袭卷而来，真香啊!我闭上眼，细细品味着清香四溢的淡淡桂花香，真的是“桂子花开，十里飘香。”

我的家在一个偏僻的山村,父母都是面朝黄土背朝天的农民。我有一个小我三岁的弟弟。有一次我为了买女孩子们都有的花手绢,偷偷拿了父亲抽屉里5毛钱。父亲当天就发现钱少了,就让我们跪在墙边,拿着一根竹竿,让我们承认到底是谁偷的。我被当时的情景吓傻了,低着头不敢说话。父亲见我们都不承认,说那两个一起挨打。说完就扬起手里的竹竿,忽然弟弟抓住父亲的手大声说,爸,是我偷的,不是姐干的,你打我吧!父亲手里的竹竿无情地落在弟弟的背上、肩上,父亲气得喘不过气来,打完了坐在炕上骂道：“你现在就知道偷 家里的,将来长大了还了得?我打死你这个不争气的。”

当天晚上,我和母亲搂着满身是伤痕的弟弟,弟弟一滴眼泪都没掉。半夜里,我突然号啕大哭,弟弟用小手捂住我的嘴说,姐,你别哭,反正我也挨完打了。

我一直在恨自己当时没有勇气承认,事过多年,弟弟为了我挡竹竿的样子我仍然记忆犹新。那一年,弟弟8岁,我11岁。

去年夏天，妈妈带我和妹妹来到姥姥家旁的小溪边玩。

Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. it falls on the twenty- fifth of december and has the same importance as chinese new year to people with english backgrounds. the celebration is for the birth of jesus christ, who is the son of god in christianity. now days christmas is no longer only celebrated by the christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of december everyone gets excited for it’s the day before christmas which is called christmas eve. the children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “santa claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” the younger kids actually believe that santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. food like short bread and beer are prepared for santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

他的自尊心特别的强，这次期末考试，他的考试成绩比他的哥哥和妹妹都要差一些，他就很不开心，还伤心的哭了，他的妈妈叫他吃饭他都不肯吃，只好来请我去安慰他。我安慰了他好一会，还借给他好几本他喜欢的书，他才破涕为笑，去吃饭了。

这就是我的朋友章健，一个健康、好动、爱学习、好胜的男孩。

Winter has gone , and spring is coming on .

Watching the ice melting ,I know the whole earth is being rejuvenated from the winter. A variety of flowers come out to show their beauty and bring us fragrance .It is a feast for our eyes and souls. The yellow grass suddenly turn green . The young leaves grow on the branches . The swallows fly back home with the greeting of spring .

Everything is coming to life . Feeling the warm sunshine , enjoying the beautiful scenery , listening to the wonderful music , drinking the new tea , my mood is perfect and I have nothing else to desire. Spring is the most fantastic season in the year .It means so much to the other three seasons.

The wind gently murmured,puffed and sometimes sighed like a summer breeze lifting the leaves along the livelong night.The cat was curling up quiet in her bed.The mouse was sleeping carefree in his gallery.The dog was lying swwet on the sofa.Even the earth itself was sleeping in tranquility,exept that some house door faintly creaked upon its hinge,telling us a remote inward warmth.Nature was at her midnight work with feathery flakes whirling down in the wind,as if she was showering her silvery seeds over the fields.

Finally I woke up.The floor creaked under my feet as I moved towards the window.The snow as warm as cotton was lying calmly upon the window sill and the stillness of the morning was extremely impressive.

The roofs were standing under their snow caps,while the eaves were wearing their glittering ornaments.The trees raised white arms to the sky on every side,and where there was a wall,there were some fantastic forms of snow stretching exhilarated in the dim landscape,as if Nature had carved her fresh desighs by night as models for mans art.

Silently,I opened the door and stepped outside to face the cutting air.The moon had already lost some of its glow and the land was bathed in a dull mist.A lurid light in the east proclaimed the approach of day while the weatern landscape was bleak with some spooky stillness like a wizard kingdom.What you could only hear was the creepy sounds,seemingly out of the hell----the barking of dogs,the hammering of blacksmith,the lowing of cows and the crying of pigs under the butchers knife.

Gradually,the lurid light darkened and spread across the west.Every flower,every tree and

every weed were bathed in the sunshine.Suddenly,it turned out that all the sounds were not for any melancholy they suggested,but for their twilight bustle which was too solemn and mysterious for me.

I moved om,treading briskly along the road,the dry and crisped snow crunching under my feet.

I were a bird, but the fathers love is the sky, I fly in the fathers care. I am a little fish, and fathers love is the sea, I swam in the warmth of a father.

My father is an ordinary teacher, but in my eyes is the worlds greatest dad.

I remember one year winter, I went to school wearing a quilted jacket, the less I shivering cold, I rub regret didnt listen to mothers words to heart. Then listen to wu slightly said: "Ma Fengqi, your father is coming!" I walked out of the classroom, I saw dad with a smile, holding a cotton-padded jacket, said "here, put on". 还有一次，我在外面闯了祸还对妈妈撒慌，妈妈的批评让我脸红，我流下了悔恨的泪水。爸爸见了急忙给我擦干眼泪，给我讲道理，并对妈妈说：“打骂孩子不是最好的教育方法，要给他们讲道理。毕竟还是小孩子嘛。”爸爸有给我讲了好多道理，让我心悦诚服的认了错。

我一天天长大，知道了要感恩父母。我会父母劳累的时候递上一杯热茶;吃完了饭，爸爸妈妈休息，我来洗碗。

我有一个好爸爸，他让我知道了什么是爱。我在爱中成长，心中亮着一盏感恩的灯，照亮我的人生路!

Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming of

becoming millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly

What is my dream? I often ask myself. When I was a little boy, I wanted to be a

soldier with a gun so that I could defend our motherland. Now I am a young boy

with a new dream——to be a doc-tor. I want to be a famous doctor, helping the

sick and saving their lives. Why has my dream changed? Well, at the age of 11 I

was ill, badly ill. I was told that I had cancer. I had to leave both my school

and my friends and go to the hospital. Every day I suf-fered the troubles caused

by this illness. I also saw some people who were suffering and dying of

ill-nesses. I made up my mind to become a doctor, so that I can help the sick

people and cure them of their diseases. China is a develop-ing country. She

needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely

villages. I want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. I

want to let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for their

illnesses without having to pay much or any money. Ill do every bit to cure the

Today, more and more young people are crazy about western festivals. When western festivals come, they usually go to restaurants or shopping malls to have fun.

如今，越来越多的年轻人都对西方的节日着迷。当西方节日到来的时候，他们常常去餐厅或是商场娱乐。

Why do the young enjoy western festivals so much? Since they worship everything new, and they can’t resist the temptation. In their opinions, western festivals symbolize the fashion, while our Chinese traditional festivals are out of date. No wonder we always feel so boring during our traditional holidays. If we still turn a blind eye to our traditional festivals, our culture and civilization will disappear someday. Accordingly, it is high time for us to pay close attention to our Chinese festivals.

为什么年轻人这么喜爱西方节日呢?大抵是因为他们喜爱新鲜事物，抗拒不了诱惑。在他们看来，西方节日代表着时尚，而中国传统节日则太土了。这也难怪我们也觉得我们的传统节日太过无聊了。如果我们对传统节日漠然置之，那么某天我们的文化文明终会消失。因此，我们该多多关注我们中国自己的节日了。

As a Chinese, we have the obligation to protect our culture and custom. So I think we should celebrate our Chinese festivals by doing some traditional activities. As for western festivals, we needn’t to be too excited about them. We can just send our best wishes to our best friends during those festivals.
