守株待兔是一个大家都很熟悉的成语寓言故事，可是在农夫饿死前，神仙曾来过这里。

农夫快饿死之前，是非常后悔的，恨不得回到过去，将这件事的结果告诉好逸恶劳的自己，让他继续种庄稼，照顾好自己和家人，免得遭受饥饿。神仙看到农夫迷途知返，心软了，决定再给农夫一次机会，于是下凡，给了农夫一家人一颗仙丹，让农夫在春天来临之际，去播撒种子，一定有一个好收成，说完之后，就消失的无影无踪了。农夫非常的高兴，自己可以得到重新获救的机会。可是，农夫并没有吸取之前的教训，认为有了丹药，自己的好运就会来了，于是又放弃了种庄稼，继续在那棵树下等兔子。回到家之后，妻子劝他，不能这样下去了，好运是不会再来的，只要踏踏实实种地，才是正途，农夫仍然不听劝说，一意孤行，并且大言不惭的说，有神仙保佑，不会饿死的，就算饿死，神仙会再一次来就我们的。妻子无奈，只有随他去了。

结果可想而知，农夫在树桩旁一天又一天的等下去，始终没有等到兔子的到来。到了收庄稼的季节，别人都满载而归，而农夫只能眼巴巴的看着人家，后悔不已。

这个小故事告诉我们，不劳而获的事情是不可能总降临在你的身上，知道自己错了，一定要及时改正，不要到了无法弥补的时候才后悔，这样的话，你终究什么也得不到。

The Chinese New Year has a great history. In our past, people lived in an agricultural society and worked all year long. They only took a break after the harvest and before the planting of seeds. This happens to coincide with the beginning of the lunar New Year.

The Chinese New Year is very similar to the Western one, rich in traditions, folklores and rituals. It has been said that it is a combination of the Western Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. This is hardly an exaggeration!

The origin of the Chinese New Year itself is centuries old - in fact, too old to actually be traced. It is popularly recognized as the Spring Festival and celebrations last 15 days.

Preparations tend to begin a month before the date of the Chinese New Year (similar to a Western Christmas). During this time people start buying presents, decoration materials, food and clothing. A huge clean-up gets underway days before the New Year, when Chinese houses are cleaned from top to bottom. This ritual is supposed to sweep away all traces of bad luck. Doors and windowpanes are often given a new coat of paint, usually red, then decorated with paper cuts and couplets with themes such as happiness, wealth and longevity printed on them.

The end of the New Year is marked by the Festival of Lanterns, which is a celebration with singing, dancing and lantern shows.

At the Festival, all traditions are honored. The predominant colors are red and gold. "Good Wish" banners are hung from the ceilings and walls. The "God of Fortune" is there to give Hong Baos. Lion dancers perform on stage continuously. Visitors take home plants and flowers symbolizing good luck. An array of New Years specialty food is available in the Food Market. Visitors purchase new clothing, shoes and pottery at the Market Fair. Bargaining for the best deal is commonplace!

My sister is a lovely girl. She has a nice English Name, “Elsa”. She is very clever and pretty. She is eight years old so she is old enough to go to school. This year, she tells me that she is a student now.

One day, my aunt took her to my home. My aunt had something important to do and had no time to look after her, so she told me to take care of her. First, I played with her for a short time. As the fast development of television technology, the television programs have been greatly improved. For one thing, there are much more kinds of programs for audiences than before. For example, there are programs for the elderly or children, some for females and some for males. Besides, some programs are educational and some others are interesting that supply knowledge or entertainment for audiences. For another, the quality of television programs are better and better. Previously, television programs are largely identical but with minor differences. People pay little attention on creativity but just copy from others. The audiences complain that the television programs are so boring even vulgar that they have little interest to sit down in front of the television. But now, the situation is quite different. People are sticked in their sofa to enjoy their favorite television programs. As to me, I like watching movies and records. I can watch them on television anytime.

我推荐这本书是因为它让我懂得了：用心地去做每一件事情，你会感到很快乐的，最朴素的东西才是最可贵的。学习和生活不能墨守成规，要不断去学习新的知识，不断地创新，不断地进取，才能不断地进步。
