I have many friends, but Jim is one of my best friends. He is not handsome, but kind-hearted. We know each other at primary school. He was the tallest in our class at that time. He is good at study and playing basketball, while bad at playing table tennis. Everytime he has delicious food, he will give it to me. Moreover, whenever I feel sad, he will play with me and comfort me. However, he is not spoilt me. people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer

this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of

fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading and

will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war,

hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a

skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the

traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with

modesty, politeness and respectfulness, which have always been treasured for

more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world, people still admire

those with good manners, those who are polite to others or respectful to old

people.

Wouldnt you agree that our Chinese traditional music is beautiful and

artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people

around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards

life, but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional

culture that people still treasure in heart.

The traditional culture will never be lost, I believe.

“万仙山，绝壁长廊”，我喃喃念叨着，指尖薄薄的纸随着大巴在山路上颠簸微微颤抖着。我抬眼向车窗外看去，不知什么时候，已经进山了。

奔波了将近一天，还不是为了亲眼目睹那传说中的长廊。恐怕，马上就要到了吧。

山路蜿蜒向上，大巴向着目的地，哼哼哧哧的往上爬，让人担心，万一哪一口气喘不过来，大巴就会永远停在这山路上。

大巴转过一个弯，我向前望去，就在那山路终止的地方，一条长廊蜿蜒而出。
