In awake of the prediction, we cant help asking why this horrible prediction happen? I think one answer may be related to the environmental degradation. As we all can see and feel, the worlds environment is going downhill with severely polluted rivers and airs. More often we cant see clearly the sun because of heavy air suspended matter caused by pollution. If continues going this way, I think the doomed day will come true if not now, then one day.

In consequences, for the sake of our own life, we should take efforts to protect the environment and save this planet. is the alarm bell to human beings that we should protect our planet, culture and civilization. Otherwise, the doomsday will come soon.

可如今，人们的生活水平不断提高了，我再也找不到心里最美的家乡了。现在，它是那么让我感到陌生。家乡现在已经铺上了水泥路，本身是件好事，但公路两旁却建起了一座座垃圾山。“森林公园”消失了，替代它的是一座座工厂，工厂里排放出来的“三废”，既废水、废气、废渣，严重的影响到了林里的环境。废水流到小河里，转眼间，小河里的水变成了五颜六色了，里面的鱼大多都死了，浮在了水面上，微风吹过，不时发出一阵阵使人想吐的气味。废气传到空气中，空气受到了严重的污染，人们再也呼吸不到清新的空气了。废渣堆放到地上，使土壤严重地遭到破坏，如果用这些土壤去种植庄稼，那些庄稼必定很难活……我常常望着眼前的家乡问自己：“这就是我的家乡吗?它为什么会变成这个样子?我儿时的‘森林公园’，儿时的‘玉带’，它们到哪儿去了?”

我想，每个人都是向往干净而又舒适的生活环境，人类，快快觉悟吧，将蓝天白云、青山绿水还给地球吧!

I’m Mike. I am a student in Huaxing Middle School. Do you know the plastic bags? Do you often use the plastic bags? I don’t like them. I think they use the wasting valuable oil their production. And they can’t decompose(分解) in a short time. The plastic bags will make our world worse. I agree with the rule, which people can’t get the free plastic bags in the shops, supermarkets. It encourages people to use their cloth bags and baskets. It’s good for our environment.

So I hope all the students in our class stop to use the plastic bags, and use our own cloth bags. I hope we can take care of our environment.

Let’s make our world more and more beautiful.

溪，那条家乡的小溪，陪伴着我度过了一年又一年，一岁又一岁，可如今的小溪——那条不复存在的小溪，令人牵挂。

小溪那美丽的容貌我无法忘记。清澈见底的溪水如小孩般欢快的奔跑着，时不时还调皮的跳几下，遇见石头爷爷也礼貌地帮他清晰身躯，过往的小鱼小虾累了，就躺入小溪姑娘那温暖而狭小的怀抱之中，想着那悦耳动听的摇篮曲，连石头缝儿里的螃蟹也被魔音贯耳，沉醉于其中，无法自拔。周围的绿树红花更衬托了她的美丽：挺拔的大树耸立于溪两侧。绿叶随风而落更显出一种宁静与安详，更像是披上了一件绿纱衣、绿被子。四周花朵都绽放出自己的笑容、扭动着自己优美的身姿，亭亭玉立。

而如今的小溪却与原来的小溪有着天壤之别：溪水发出恶臭的气味，生活垃圾漂浮于溪面，工厂的废水、污水都排放于溪中，小鱼小虾所有的动物都仓皇而逃，周围的花草树木都已经枯萎凋零。臭虫、蚊子都在草丛堆里飞来飞去，溪姑娘天天都在对动物们诉苦：“大家，帮帮我，我肚子好痛。”可谁又会理如今的她，美丽的小溪变得丑陋不堪。

为什么小溪会变成这样？如今的环境越来越恶劣：砍伐树木，开采矿石……都是因为人们的贪婪所造成的让我们的地球变得伤痕累累，不住地呻吟。难道真的有失去它我们才知道后悔吗?不要再破坏我们赖以生存的美好家园了。
