刚一下车，我便失声喊道：“啊!真漂亮呀!”原来昔日的臭水沟已经“不翼而飞”了，展现在我们眼前的是一个休闲广场，有花有草，还有一些健身器材，我简直不敢相信我的眼睛，我的耳边不时传来孩子们的欢声笑语，老人们坐在广场的休息凳上谈着天。脚底下不再是磕磕绊绊的石子路，而是光滑的水泥路，路边打着标语“保护生态环境，共创和谐社会”，村民们的小楼房都刷上了一层白色的涂料，像一个个亭亭玉立的白雪公主，每家门口和路的两边也砌上了花坛，栽上了花草，五颜六色的鲜花在阳光下争相开放着，不时向我们送来缕缕清香。不远处还有一座漂亮的公共厕所，五六家就共有一个垃圾小屋。

我和弟弟漫步在小池塘边，小池塘的水也不再浑浊，边上都用石头砌成了观赏台，用眼睛就能看见水里的鱼儿在游动，几个儿时的伙伴正在小池塘边钓鱼。

三：环境变化

同学们，你们了解我们周围的环境吗?在这里我要向大家说一说我们这里周围环境的变化有多大。

那就从我家周围开始说吧!原来，我家旁边有一条笔直的小路，但路旁总是堆满“白色垃圾”。只要一刮起风来，这些“白色垃圾”就会偏偏起舞，有的飞到人们的窗户上，夜里起来一看，还真象个大魔鬼一样爬在窗户上;有的人们刚刚出门，那些“白色垃圾”就落在头上，非常令人讨厌......。

还有，这里经常会出现“沙尘暴”因为到处都是黄沙，几乎一棵小树都没有了。回家的时候总是要迷眼睛的，咳!真没办法。

后来，经过环卫工人的辛勤劳动，环境卫生有了很大的变化。到了夏天，这里绿树成荫，鲜花盛开。“沙尘暴”不见了，白色的垃圾消失了，这里的垃圾山变成了高楼大厦。小鸟也飞回来了，它们在这里歌唱着，好象在说这里的环境真美啊!

我的家乡这些年的垃圾处理有了很大变化。

原来的乡村道路上没有垃圾桶，人们走在路上垃圾没处扔。有的人就直接扔在路边上，有的扔到小河里头去了，经常会见到苍蝇”嗡嗡嗡“地乱飞。每家每户的垃圾都是自己处理，要么烧掉，要么就自己找一个地方堆放。烧的东西里面有不能烧的，比如塑料，烧出来对环境有害处，垃圾堆放的地方则散发着臭气。

后来，人们认识到了垃圾的问题，就做了一些改变。

在乡村道路上，人们每隔一段距离就设置了两个垃圾桶，一个是“可回收垃圾”，一个是“不可回收垃圾”。人们就把垃圾扔到垃圾桶里，道路就变得干干净净的了。
