Look at the pollution around us, which exists everywhere. The cars release

the street. All of these daily incidents hurts the world we live. Especially the

Its a sunny afternoon, my mother and I happily went downstairs for a walk, inadvertently, I found on the green lawn with an old, dirty battery. Battery is harmful to our environment a major killer! The World Environment Day is on June 5th Every year. Since 1960s, the pollution on the earth have got more and more serious. So we need a World Environment Day to warn people that we must not destroy our earth any more. On the contrary, we need protect our environment from now on in order to make flowers more colorful and make the sky more blue. My school is so beautiful that i cannot think of leaving there for less a day. The lofty trees, colorful flowers and the charming attract me a lot. When i first went there, i was amazed by its wonderful atmospherem peaceful and warm. Everyday, my teacher teaches me a lot of knowledge from different aspects such as Chinese, Math,and English. The population of the earth is increasing very fast. Humans must make the earth support the increasing population. This has made it necessary for agriculture and industry to develop rapidly.

Such a rapid development produces more and more waste, which goes into the water, the soil and the air. Some of it is made harmless. However, where there is too much of it, the poisonous waste may do great harm to the things around the people.

When farmers add fertilizer to the soil to make plants grow better, or use poison to kill pests, poison is sent into the air, the water and the soil. When birds, fish and people eat the grain, drink the water or breath the air, harm will be done to their health.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things. There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there isn’t in the country. 回到家里，在妈妈的指导下，我上网了解到人们如果大量乱丢垃圾，污染物会对人体健康造成综合影响，例如造成：慢性阻塞性肺疾病、肺和肾受损、肺癌和白血病等疾病。而且，污染物对人体健康的危害也是一个十分复杂的问题，它可分为急性危害、慢性危害和远期危害。

看见这么多的污染问题我很心痛，环保首先从我做起，尽量减少使用一次性筷子和泡沫饭盒，支持开展垃圾分类，回家和奶奶商量一下买菜不用一次性塑料袋。我真心地希望每个人都尽自己的一份力量，来共同守护环境。
