由于铜川是煤城，煤车天天在马路上跑，空气中充满了煤粉，使得铜川在十九世纪八十年代成了卫星上看不见的城市。

现在，人们都注意环境卫生，再也闻不到漆水河发出的刺鼻的味道了。漆水河的水也渐渐变清澈了。有一次，我还在漆水河边看见几只白色的小鸟在河边喝水呢，看见环境变得越来越好，我真高兴。而且，马路也干净多了，人们又可以走在干净的大街上，呼吸新鲜的空气了。
