小溪那美丽的容貌我无法忘记。清澈见底的溪水如小孩般欢快的奔跑着，时不时还调皮的跳几下，遇见石头爷爷也礼貌地帮他清晰身躯，过往的小鱼小虾累了，就躺入小溪姑娘那温暖而狭小的怀抱之中，想着那悦耳动听的摇篮曲，连石头缝儿里的螃蟹也被魔音贯耳，沉醉于其中，无法自拔。周围的绿树红花更衬托了她的美丽：挺拔的大树耸立于溪两侧。绿叶随风而落更显出一种宁静与安详，更像是披上了一件绿纱衣、绿被子。四周花朵都绽放出自己的笑容、扭动着自己优美的身姿，亭亭玉立。

而如今的小溪却与原来的小溪有着天壤之别：溪水发出恶臭的气味，生活垃圾漂浮于溪面，工厂的废水、污水都排放于溪中，小鱼小虾所有的动物都仓皇而逃，周围的花草树木都已经枯萎凋零。臭虫、蚊子都在草丛堆里飞来飞去，溪姑娘天天都在对动物们诉苦：“大家，帮帮我，我肚子好痛。”可谁又会理如今的她，美丽的小溪变得丑陋不堪。

为什么小溪会变成这样？如今的环境越来越恶劣：砍伐树木，开采矿石……都是因为人们的贪婪所造成的让我们的地球变得伤痕累累，不住地呻吟。难道真的有失去它我们才知道后悔吗?不要再破坏我们赖以生存的美好家园了。

经过一段时间的调查，我又来到了家乡，看看家乡环境的变化。

我首先曾经调查过的湖。湖里原来的垃圾没有了，原来的污水没有了，变成了现在的清水。湖里的那股刺鼻的味道没有了，变成了清新扑鼻的空气了。而且湖里还建了一个污水净化站。我还看见湖岸四周立了几个垃圾桶。路上曾经的垃圾都“不见”了。路上还有几个清洁工在为大街“美容”。

我来到了曾经调查过的公园，一看，以前那片光秃秃的地上长满了小草，开满了鲜花，还竖立着许多棵大树。而且小路上也有几个扫地工在扫地，地上的垃圾也就“消失”了。草地上还挂了文明标牌，上面写着：小草也有生命，请你爱护它。在大树前也立了文明标牌，上面写着：大树也会痛，请你不要伤害它。

家乡环境的变化真大。
