Nowadays, many wild animals become a plate of food. Without these lovely animals, our life will become special boring. Rose up in the morning, cant hear the birds chirping and crisp sound, that is bad!

Patches of forest became less factories. The lawn into a wasteland, beautiful grassland into desert. Why is this? This is because people caused by deforestation.

Human survival depends on the environment, the environment depends on human protection. Do humans have that moment didnt wake up until the end of the earth? I call on: to protect the environment! We act together.

如今，许多野生动物成为了人们盘中的美食。如果没有这些可爱的动物，我们的生活就会变得特别无趣。早晨起来，不能听到小鸟叽叽喳喳清脆的叫声，那多不好啊!

片片森林变成了座座工厂。草地变成了荒原，美丽的草原变成了沙漠。这究竟是为什么?这是因为人们乱砍乱伐造成的。

人类要靠环境生存，环境要靠人类保护。难道人类还要等到地球毁灭的那一刻才醒悟吗?我呼吁：保护环境!大家一起行动吧。

I love my school so much, because of the beautiful environment. The first day I walk into the school, I am very impressed by the green trees and the colorful flowers. It seems that I just walk into a park and getlost in the green world. The trees and flowers make me feel so comfortable, and my heart feel the peace.

Saving Water

The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. But about 97% of this huge amount is sea water, or salt water. Man can only drink and use the other 3% -- the fresh water that comes from rivers, lakes,underground, and other sources. And we cannot even use all of that, because some of it is in the form of icebergs and glaciers. Even worse, some of it has been polluted.

However, as things stand today, this small amount of fresh water, which is constantly being replaced by rainfall, is still enough for us. But our need for water is increasing rapidly-- almost day by day. Only if we take steps to deal with this problem now can we avoid a severe worldwide water shortage later on. A limited water supply would have a bad effect on agriculture and industry. Let me give you just one small exampie of how necessary water is to industry. Did you know that to produce a single ton of steel, it takes about 91, 000 liters of water?

We all have to learn how to stop wasting our precious water. One of the first steps we should take is to develop ways of reusing it. Experiments have already been done in this field, but only on a small scale. For us, the systems are as important as the spacecraft.

My hometown used to be a backwardplace, because it was deep in the mountains, where there were no nice buildingsand the roads were so narrow and dirty. People lived a poor life.

记得两年前，我家山重后园还是一个垃圾乱倒、生活污水乱流、杂物乱放，甚至粪土乱堆的地方，环境很不好。

有一天听我爸说政府要对我们后园进行整治，说要建设新农村，要改善我们的生活条件，会建一个小公园。听到这个消息后，可把我乐坏啦，因为我想：如果爸爸的消息是真的，那等大人们把环境改善完后，我和我的好伙伴就可以在公园里尽情地嬉戏玩耍了。果然没过多久，来了很多人，接下来每天都有很多叔叔在忙着，场面相当的热闹，当时天气很热，可叔叔们不顾休息，个个干得热火朝天。渐渐地，两三个月过去了，我家后园的环境焕然一新。

经过那些叔叔们的整治，村里的垃圾堆不见啦，而且在固定的地方砌了放垃圾的槽位;附近的小溪流不再脏气熏人，变得清澈见底了，偶尔还能见到小鱼儿自由自在地游来游去呢;路边两旁的杂物也消失了，更让人欣慰的是种上一些花草，微风一吹，它们时不时会跟你点点头;最让感到恶心的是那些粪土，现在也消失得无影无踪了，听我爸说那些叔叔们在村里建成好几个公共卫生间，而且每天有专门的人进行打扫清洗。最最让我们小孩子高兴的是，我爸说过的那个公园也建成啦，听说县里一位领导给它取个名为：水云涧。水云涧环境相当地优美，有花有草有树，又有水，绿树悠悠，鸟语花香，那些叔叔们除了在水云涧公园种花种草外，还建起一座凉亭，摆上了很多石凳，甚至安放了一些健身运动器材，多好啊!现在每到傍晚，水云涧公园人群滚滚，不仅成为我们小孩子的乐园，也成为村里大人们休闲的场所。

在那里，我经常听大人们在说：还是咱党和政府的政策好呀，看看，这次村容的整治，使我们后园的环境全变了，我做梦都没想到会变得这么快，这么好呀!以后，我们一定要多多支持配合政府的政策，他们是为咱老百姓的生活着想呀!是呀!我是小孩子，虽然不是懂太多，但是村里环境的变化我可是亲眼目睹的，我心里也暗暗地高兴：感谢这次的村容整治，让我家乡环境变得如此美丽!
