今年，爸爸妈妈带我回家乡过年。一下车，我发现家乡的变化实在是太大了，我都快认不出家乡的样子了。

我来到家乡的小河边，空气清新甜润，天空湛蓝深远。小河边绿草青青，零星的野花点缀着这美丽的小草坪，树木又高又大，上面住着许多小鸟在叽叽喳喳地唱歌。清澈见底的河里，许许多多的小鱼在游来游去，时不时地探出水面，好像在与我打招呼呢。我忍不住跟妈妈说：“妈妈，太不可思议了，我还记得有一年我到小河边玩，看到了有两个垃圾堆，很久都没有人去清理，发出一股股的臭味呢，那时大家都不来河边玩呢。现在这里闻不到臭味了，怎么会有这么大的变化呢?”妈妈摸了摸我的头，指着不远处说：“你看看那，你就知道家乡为什么会有这么大的变化了。”我仔细一看有几个环卫工人在打扫卫生，在河边大树底下放着三个垃圾桶，上面分别写着“可回收垃圾”、“不可回收垃圾”、“其他垃圾”，我真没想到家乡的垃圾分类也做得这么好，难怪这河边有小朋友在快乐地放风筝呢，这里再也不会有散发恶臭的垃圾堆啦。

我为家乡环境的巨变所震撼了，因为人们认识到了保护环境的重要性，他们开始了垃圾分类这项工程，我觉得这真的是造福人类的工程，我想家乡以后会变得更加美丽的!
