环境保护是现代生活中人类所面临的最主要问题。要解决这个问题必须从基础做起。首先，要大量宣传，提高人们的意识与理解，加强环保意识。其次，要进行废物回收利用，减少对森林树木的砍伐。还必须加强对白色污染处理，少使用塑料制品。最后，必须改善清洁方面。使城市的外观整洁。为了地球的明天，我们必须从现在开始努力，将希望和当地的警官保护环境。为此我们提出如下建议：实施垃圾分类袋装。这样不仅可以减少环卫工人的工作量，而且可以更好的利用废物，减少污染，节约资源。

爱护环境就是爱护我们自己。

2.Water is the source of ourlives

水是生命之源。

3.I make an urgent appeal that measures should be taken to cope with the situation

我急切呼吁应该采取措施改变现状。

4.Our government is doing its best to take measures to fight against pollution.

我们政府正努力制定措施与污染作斗争。

我们坚信我们能赢得战斗。

6.Its high time that we should protect our enviroment from being polluted.

是时候我们应该防止环境污染了。

使我们山更绿，水更清，天更蓝。

8.However，natural resources are not inexhaustible.some reserves are already on the brink of exhaustion.

然而自然资源并不是无穷无尽的，一些储量已经到了穷尽的边缘。

9.If we do something with no thought for the furture . The later generation would be in danger.

如果我们不为将来考虑，后代就会受到威胁。

10.Our earths days are numbered without urgent help.

没有及时的帮助我们的地球就屈指可数了。

有人说：要是我出生在美国,我准是个英语天才.也有人说：如果李白是我的老师,也许我早就成诗人了.现实生活中,有些人总是抱怨环境不好,总是千方百计想换个环境.可是环境变了以后又怎么样呢?还不是一如既往.于是我要说,改变环境不如改变自己.

只有不时地更换鱼缸,金鱼才能越长越大；只有将狼放归山林,狼的智勇与矫健才能被激发出来.可见,环境对动物的影响力是巨大的,同样,环境对人的影响也不容忽视.正所谓“近朱者赤,近墨者黑”,一个好的环境往往对人有着潜移默化的影响.古代的孟母也深知环境的重要性,所以才有了“孟母三迁”的故事.

“天有不测风云”,环境不是一成不变的,你可以改变它一时,却无法改变它一世.所以,环境的改变只是暂时的,自我的改变才是永久的.燕子总是躲在他人的屋檐下避风躲雨,一旦屋塌檐倒,只能流离失所.舒适的屋檐的确给燕子带来了暂时的安全与温暖,可它的一生也只能在心惊胆战中度过.

环境,象征着生活中一切客观事物,改变环境并不能改变一切,更何况环境也不是轻而易举就能改变的,我们无法阻止青春的流逝,死亡的降临,也无法阻止日月更迭、自然巨变,因为它们都在以一种不变的规则来变化,就像设计好的程序一般.对此,我们也只能顺应和接受.这时候,改变自我往往是更明智的选择.鲁迅面对暂时无法改变的黑暗社会,毅然改变了自己的志向,弃医从文,希望通过改变人们的思想而改变社会环境；贝多芬面对无法改变的听力障碍,毅然改变了自己的作曲方式,嘴衔铁棒的他谱写出了不朽的《命运交响曲》,这是他人生的高潮,也是他生命的终章.

与改变环境相比,改变自己更能培养意志与毅力.历史上“秉烛苦读”的例子不是很多吗?这些古人没有去抱怨环境,努力适应环境.就在这种改变中,磨练了意志,培养了矢志不渝的精神.

人人都随着社会向前发展,人人都在改变,但很多情况下,改变环境确实不如改变自己.要知道,每一次改变,你的灵魂都上升了一个台阶,你就向辉煌又迈进了一步.要知道,现在你改变的是自己,而将来终有一天,你改变的是你的命运!

It is undeniable that the worsening environment has become the biggest concern of the present-day world. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself.

Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if peoples lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution ?

不可否认环境恶化已成为当今世界最大的问题。土地资源在不断减少,因为水土流失。废气污染着我们呼吸的空气。河流和湖泊被工厂的 倒出来的废弃物所污染。这可以毫不夸张地说,环境质量的恶化威胁着人类的生存。

有些人认为环境问题是我们因为经济发展而必须要付出的代价。但我不认为这种观点是有效的。毕竟,经济增长的重点是什么?如果人们的生活环境被日益恶化、被严重污染了，那还有什么意义?
