我的家乡——九台，近几年来发生了翻天覆地的变化。

街路变宽了。近几年来，九台市委市政府采取措施，把泥泞的土路改换成了宽阔的“三板四带标准路”，又在路旁及路中间装上了许多“荷花”路灯，黑夜既能照明，白天又特别美观。现在从不发生交通堵塞，无论哪面的什么车开来，都不防碍交通。道路两端装上了交通灯，再加上交通警察的恰当指挥、疏导，人们的出行方便多了。
