星期天，我们非常6+1小组来到蓬莱公园，开展了一期以“保护环境”为主题的实践活动。

我们首先观看了视频片《美丽的仙河》，以前的仙河镇真是太美了，各个小区排列有序，树木郁郁葱葱，围绕着仙河镇的神仙沟清澈见底，河水叮叮咚咚的唱着歌，空气甜润诱人，还被评为全国的文明住宅小区呢，正如歌里唱的那样“我爱你的碧水芳草，我爱你的红墙绿瓦，我爱你烟雨中如诗如画……”

可是现在，大量的化工厂和人们保护环境意识的减少，神仙沟变成了臭水沟，再也看不到孩子们下水摸鱼的情景了，只能看见发着臭气的水和翻肚皮的死鱼，白色垃圾满天飞，废电池乱扔。

我们拿着相机把不爱护环境的行为都拍了下来，我竟然光在早市上就拍了50多张，地上有糖纸、烟头、废纸、烂菜叶子和废弃的塑料袋，很多人都是找不到垃圾桶，随地乱扔。一路走下来，真的觉得保护环境太重要了，我想把这些照片发到仙河吧上，告诉人们一定要保护环境。虽然我现在只能做些微小的事，但是我想要是人人都有保护环境的责任心，从自己做起，从小事做起，携手保护我们的家园，自然会给人类应有的回报。

这次的小组活动，我还知道了很多日常生活中保护环境的做法，少开汽车、不用一次性用品、少用塑料袋、不燃放烟花爆竹等等，我相信，通过大家的努力，仙河镇的未来一定绿树成荫、鲜花遍地，我们幸福的生活着。

We live earth is deteriorating rapidly, did we have to pay attention to

Protection of the Environment

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment. There were few people on the earth, and natural resources seemed to be unlimited.

Today things are different. The world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources,and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, human life on earth will not survive.

We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea, there will soon be none left. Yet,with modern fishing methods, more and more fish are caught.We know that if too many trees are cut down, forests will disappear. Yet, we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees. We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products, we will die. Yet, waste products are

still put into rivers.

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate, in a few years, there wont be enough food.What can we do to solve these problems?

If we eat more vegetables and less meat, there will be more food available. Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept.

Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them.

The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control.

Finally, if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future.

Last weekend, I wanted to swim in the river that I usually wen in the childhood. When I went there, I was shock. The river is no longer like before. It was full of rubbish. It seemed that the rubbish is from the villagers themselves. In order to put the rubbish nearer, they put all of them into the river. Not only the water is not clean any more, the river also smelt bad. I real touched. Why human and the environment couldn’t live harmonious? Long time ago, they could get along with each other. 见此美景，我不禁回想起前几年此地的环境：土黄色的小河水混沌不清，水中一条鱼都没有，水面上漂浮着一堆堆的垃圾，散发着一阵阵的臭气。

这几年随着人们环境保护意识的逐渐增强，小河边的不合格工厂都不见了，于是鱼儿也随着河水的干净逐渐回来了。

还记得以前的正月初一凌晨是没法睡觉的，鞭炮响彻夜空，空气中全是火药味。今年全家睡了个好觉。

现在汽车还是很多，排放的尾气还在继续污染环境。我希望未来的汽车变成了太阳能启动的汽车，没有空气污染。

保护环境，人人有责。我们要从自己做起，不乱扔垃圾，不放烟花，少开私家车。

我想有个"家"，小鸟在树上呼唤着，我想有个"家"。鲸鱼、海龟、鲤鱼也同样在呼唤着，我想有个"家"。大树花草也在呼唤着，我想有个"家"，大象、老虎以及人类也是一样，在呼唤着，我想有个"家"。

我从网上获悉，臭氧层，被称为大地的保护伞，因为它可以挡住大部分的紫外线，如果没有臭氧层，天地将会全部被烤焦，所有生命将会化为灰烬。破坏臭氧的元凶就是工厂有害气体和车辆的尾气，大量含氟空调、冰箱的使用等等，所以我们要尽量少用空调，低碳出行节约用电，平常能骑电动车就最好不开车，能骑自行车就尽量不骑电动车，这样可以减少电力的浪费和尾气的排放，还能锻炼我们的身体!

水是生命之源，尤其是淡水。据报道，全球70%是盐水不可饮用，淡水紧缺。所以我们要节约用水关紧水龙头，不污染我们的江河湖泊，不乱丢垃圾和排放有害物质，给鱼儿们一个干净的家，给我们一个干净的生命之源。

我还知道很多小动物正在灭绝和被捕杀，他们有的被端上人类的餐桌，有的被制成工艺品供人类观赏。听妈妈说2003年的非典，就是因为人们吃了野生动物，将野生动物身上的病毒带到了人类世界。还有今年的新冠病毒，据说是也是捕杀食用野生动物造成的。没有买卖就没有杀害，我倡议：从现在开始，从我做起，不吃野生动物，并阻止捕猎者捕杀动物，给动物们一个安心的家。

保护环境不能再挂在嘴边，大家要用我们的行动保护我们这个美丽而又脆弱的地球，保护我们共同的家!

Some people believe that economic development should never be at the cost of the environment.They think the present serious environmental problems are largely caused by rapid?economic development.For example,land resources are shrinking because of the industrial development and the expansion of cities.Deserts are spreading because of over grazing,poor fanning,tree cutting,and strip mining.Our air and water supplies are being polluted by poisonous gassesand waste products.It is important,therefore,that we should take another look at the way in which our industries and cities are developing.

However,other people think it unnecessary to consider environmental problems now and our first priority should always be given to economic development.They believe that environmental problems are inevitable and unavoidable in the process of economic development.They are only the by products of economic development,which can be dealt with later when we have the time and money.

I think the second idea is completelywrong.Our ultimate aim in economic development is to provide a comfortable and happy life for our people.What is the point of economic development if we achieve it at the cost of our environment?There has been much evidence to prove that a balance between the two helps more rapid and continuous development.

时间过得真快呀，人们说的真对呀：“光阴似箭，日月如梭”〔U1〕，一转眼二十年过去了！在一次朋友聚会上，我们聊了聊自己的家乡，突然我想起了自己的家乡，二十年过回去了，不知道家乡怎么要了，我立刻坐公交车到火车站，买了一张火车票，就马上收拾东西准备回家乡

到了家乡，我大吃一惊〔U2〕，一看，原来房子旁边的庄稼，都成了高楼大厦、酒店、药店，我到了我家，一看我家怎么变了，这是不是我家呀，别在走错了，过了一会，过来一个人，我就问，这个是谁家，我一听，还真是我家，原来的旧房子，都变成新的了，没想到变化这么大。我一进家，发现我的在家的时候种了一棵石榴树，没了，我还在离开家乡的前一天的晚上，睡不着，就出来，在这刻石榴树下挖了一个大坑，把我珍藏很久的几十个一分钱埋到了石榴树下面。可是那棵石榴树已经没了，不知道那十几个一分钱还有没有，找了半天都没找到。

我又问妈妈，我的那只小乌龟还有没有，我一看我养的那一只小乌龟，不再是小乌龟了，成大乌龟了，比原来打了很多。

这二十年家乡的变化可真大呀，我都人不出自己的家在哪了！
