听爸爸说，汉城湖原名叫团结水库，承担西安城市排污、雨洪排泄任务，工业、生活废水直接排到库里，库水发臭、发黑，水面及岸周围垃圾堆积如山。人们从这里路过时，掩着鼻子，捂着嘴巴，皱着眉头，跑步从这里冲了过去。

如今，这里变成了人们休闲、娱乐、锻炼的好去处，绿树成阴，风景如画。湖水清澈透亮，像一面巨大的镜子，太阳光照在水面上折射出五彩缤飞的光环。湖里的野鸭子三五成群地聚在一起，你挤我碰，互相戏耍。湖中的鱼，这儿一团，那儿一群，有红色的，有橙色的，有黄色的，有黑色的，它们在快乐地游来游去。如果把汉城湖的美景看作一幅活的画，那画家的本领可真了不起。
