Many classmates ask me about my plan for summer holiday. How I wish I could have a colorful and fruitful holiday, so I have decided to do a part-time job during the summer vacation. On the one hand, I can earn some pocket money by doing a part-time job. I can spend them freely, because they are earned by myself. On the other hand, I can accumulate some practical experience by doing a part-time job. They can’t be learned in the class or from text books. Besides, I will go over my study and do some preview. 20XX年十月底，本人终于踏上了向往已久的中华人民共和国香港特区的土地。

本人这等小民要到香港，公款消费自然没有份，唯一的途径就是自掏腰包打着旅游的旗号。本人和老婆大人参加的是所谓精英团，本人固然算不得精英，是冲着所谓精英团不强制购物的幌子去的。

但有五件事情令本人至今耿耿于怀。

一、到瑞钻国际珠宝城的路上，香港导游给大家讲了一个故事：

猴子对上帝说：我要做人。上帝说：你要做人很好啊，但是你看人都没有毛，你要做人的话，就要把毛拔掉。猴子说：拔毛好痛啊，我不想拔毛。上帝说：你一毛不拔，怎么做人呢？！

当时车上有十几个人，都一言不发。本人实在忍无可忍，当即严词要求香港导游道歉，否则马上到旅游议会投诉她。看到本人拍案而起，车上多数人随即附和。香港导游颇适时务，一边打太极，一边道歉。

二、维多利亚港夜游不在旅游合同的范围之内，行程伊始内地导游就开始鼓吹维多利亚港夜景是多么迷人，到了香港本地导游又加油添醋，巧舌如簧，说得整个旅游团都屁颠屁颠去看了夜景，掏了腰包之后皆曰不虚此行。接下来坐豪华游轮到公海，晚上出发，又沿着维多利亚港走了一遭，才知道此前的夜游纯属多余。

三、离开香港到澳门的早上，换了导游，导游一路上推销他们的狗屁紫荆花模型。按照导游小姐的说法，如果买了她的模型，就可以升官发财，事事如意；如果不买她的模型，就要生疮害病，遭受无妄之灾。你可以不保佑我们，但是绝不能咒骂我们，本人再次拍案而起，这回应者寥寥，导游也未主动道歉。

四、老婆大人在瑞钻国际珠宝城买戒指一枚，珠宝城保证180天内无理由退货。回到成都发现居然断了，火速与旅行社联系，旅行社要求送到他们的办公地点。

老婆大人奉命送到指定地点，要求旅行社代为换货或退货。旅行社收了戒指却不肯打收条，再三交涉总算作了些让步，收条可以打，但决不注明产品有质量问题。我们怀着对香港法制的无限信任，把戒指交给了他们。时间一天天过去，香港方面音信全无。我们再三催促，十几天后，珠宝城终于打来电话，声称戒指收到了，但要我们提供产品缺陷方面的证据。东西已经到了他们手里，我们到哪里去找证据呢？要求他们把戒指原物寄回，他们断然回绝，只同意修好后寄回来。

我们好生郁闷，遂要求退货。珠宝城同意退货，但必须扣除5％刷卡费。本人带有现金，购物时经不住导购小姐的游说刷卡付费，至此才知道是个陷阱！本人坚信香港是法制社会，总不至于让如此明目张胆欺骗消费者的行经得逞吧。

于是在网上找到了香港旅游议会和香港消费者协会的电话，老婆大人特此开通了香港的长途电话。和香港方面多次交涉，花了若干时间、精力和电话费，最终不了了之。又回头来找成都的旅行社，经过两个月的拉锯战，总算把5％的刷卡费拿了回来，至于其他方面的损失就免谈了，更不要奢望赔偿了。

五、在和成都旅行社的交涉过程中，才知道成都导游每人每天收25元附加费是乱收费。旅行社一边表示要查处，一方面又要我们提供证据。我们没有证据，最后同样不了了之。

本人一向坚信香港是法制社会，但是我们的合法权利却被如此践踏。不知道是我的看法错了呢，还是香港的法律不保护内地的公民。就像东芝公司当年对中国大陆的消费者说的一样，我们赔偿美国消费者是按照美国的法律，请问你们有这样的法律吗？但是我们的消费是在香港的地皮上发生的啊！

本人支配不了别人的行动，但支配自己的行动总还可以吧。如果这个前提成立，那么本人在有生之年决不再踏进香港的地皮半步！特此声明，移民除外！

At the sound of the whistle， you have to jump up from a sound sleep and， with heavy-lidded eyes， hurry to the gathering place where you are collected and counted to board a coach. At the sight of the little flag waving， you must immediately take yourself away from the scenes you are marveling at and follow the guide whose sole interest is to cover all spots according to him strict schedule， regardless of the weather or your health condition.

True，you may encounter inconveniences if you travel inpidually，for instance， getting accommodations for the night and finding a place for meals. But nothing can be compared with the freedom which is vital to a person who takes a holiday trip mainly to escape from constraints of his routine life.

买了那么多东西，逛完繁华的购物中心，接着前往浅水湾散步是最好不过的安排。浅水湾是香港最具带表性的沙滩，大家知道吗?那而的沙是从海南运来的，海滩绵长，滩床宽阔，而且水清沙细，在阳光的照耀下海面波光粼粼，许多小孩在海边玩水，堆沙仔，在那里，可以听听浪涛的歌唱，可以欣赏海风的低吟，真是令人心旷神怡。在那儿呆得久也不觉得热呀!

我在香港呆了三天，觉得日子过得太快了，还没玩够呀，但是这次又非要走了，真想留在香港多玩几天呀!

Hong Kong is one of the two special administrative regions (SARs) of the Peoples Republic of China, along with Macau. On one street corner, there may be traditional Chinese shops selling Chinese herbal medicine, Buddhist paraphernalia or bowls of synthetic shark fin soup. But around the next, one may find theatres showing the latest Hollywood blockbuster, a British-style pub, a Catholic Church or Ronald McDonald inviting passer-bys to a Big Mac. The territorys official language is Chinese and English; signs in both languages are omnipresent throughout Hong Kong. The government, police and most workplaces and stores conduct business bilingually. British rule may have ended a decade ago but Western culture is deeply ingrained in Hong Kong and coexists seamlessly with traditional philosophy and practices of the Orient.

Hong Kong has an active nightlife centred on two major entertainment districts, Lan Kwai Fong (Central) and Wan Chai. Both areas are frequented by expatriates and locals alike. For a more quiet evening, a trip to Victoria Peak offers a spectacular view of the city. There is also a promenade along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, which is popular among young Chinese couples. Shopping, a form of entertainment for the people of Hong Kong, is even done at nighttime as evident in the Temple Street Night Market where one can also catch free performances of Peking opera.

The citys cosmopolitan flavour can also be seen in the wide variety of cuisines available. While different varieties of Chinese selections, especially seafood, are most popular, there are also many European, American, Japanese, Korean, and other restaurants. Ethnic dishes served in cha chaan teng and dai pai dong are also popular. The people of Hong Kong take their food seriously and many top chefs make their way to the city to show off their talents to these discerning diners.

While Hong Kong is a global centre of trade, perhaps the citys most famous export is its entertainment industry, particularly in the martial arts genre. Several top-notch Hollywood performers originate from Hong Kong cinema -- Bruce Lee, Chow Yun-Fat, Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Jet Li and Leslie Cheung, to name a few. Behind the camera, Hong Kong filmmakers have also struck fortune in Hollywood such as John Woo, Wong Kar-wai, Tsui Hark and martial arts choreographers who have designed fight scenes in the Matrix trilogy, Kill Bill and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Back in Hong Kong, several homegrown films have also gained international recognition such as Chungking Express, Infernal Affairs, Shaolin Soccer, Rumble in the Bronx and In the Mood for Love. Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has said hes strongly influenced by Hong Kong action cinema.

The Hong Kong government also supports cultural institutions such as the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Furthermore, the governments Leisure and Cultural Services Department also subsidizes and sponsors the bringing of international performers to Hong Kong.

A Trip to Beijing

My American friend Tom and I went to Beijing by plane last summer.

On the first day，we visited the Palace Museum and Tiananmen Square. The next day，we climbed the Great Wall. We took lots of photos. Although we felt tired，it was a fantastic experience. The third day we relaxed. Then we had the Beijing roast duck for lunch. I think it is the most delicious food in the world. Tom is interested in Chinese culture，so we drank tea and saw Beijing Opera in Lao She Teahouse in the evening. Finally，we did some shopping and flew back to Guilin.

The trip to Beijing was short，but it was wonderful. Tom said that he would never forget it.

Shangri-La

Shangri-La world is a rare perfect natural ecology and traditional culture of the pure land, known as "mountain garden", "Kingdom of animals and plants," "Kingdom of non-ferrous metals" reputation. From Dali along the Yunnan Tibet Highway North 315 kilometers, is the capital of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Zhongdian County town centre, 659 km away from Kunming, up to 50 minutes by plane. 今年，我去了香港，好一个如雷贯耳的名字。可我对它的第一眼印象，便只有两个字:奢靡。

车水马龙的街道，川流不息的人群，灯火阑珊的高大建筑，每一个细节都表现着它的繁华与喧闹。纵观全城，似乎处处都美得如刻意涂抹的油画，光怪陆离，如梦似幻。

躺在酒店舒适的床上，摆弄着精致小巧的水晶摆件，我回忆着短短半天发生的一切:我们去了浅水湾，拾到了一些出自大自然鬼斧神工之手的精美贝壳，可是，我并没有带回任何一个，而是轻轻地将它们放在海水冲刷的浅滩，轻声告诉它们“你们自由了”，这才踏着夕阳的余晖离开。也许它们的生命已然逝去，可大海才是它们最后的归宿。

第二天，我们来到了极负盛名的迪士尼乐园，那儿可是所有孩子梦中的天堂。在巡游花车的指引下，我穿过熙熙攘攘的人群，来到了高耸入云的灰姑娘城堡，身穿白纱裙的“灰姑娘”正快乐地舞蹈；我以延伸的空中轨道为线索，探访了神秘的“原始部落”；在奇妙的星际空间来了一次星际任务，挑战极限……在那里，我更是遇上了奇幻瑰丽的太阳雨，水晶般闪亮的光夺目耀眼，把这场童话般的邂逅点缀得如梦似幻。在它面前，我只好感叹自然的强大。

此时，我对香港的印象大为改观，她就像一位衣着华丽的女子，冷酷高傲，处变不惊，可是在她心中，蕴藏着绝美的童话。

我要离开香港了。短短的两天一夜，香港教会了我很多，即便不能抹去曾经是英国殖民地的不堪历史，可是至少在今天的香港，人们都能随心而活。

今天，我们全家一起去香港旅游。我们早早就起了床，因为巴士8时就要开走了，所以要早点起床。

出发了，巴士真准时。过了半个小时，我在车上看见了美丽的风景，有山谷、有花草、有树木、还有一面清澈的湖水……过了一个小时我看累了，于是又睡了一个小时。哦，终于到香港了，都有点饿了。跟着，我们到了一家香港特色小吃店吃饭。啊!真好吃。

吃完了，我们去逛街，到处走走，直到晚上6点半才吃饭，我们都很累了，不过很高兴，因为我们买了自己想要的东西，妈妈买了手机、衣服……爸爸买了衣服、照相机……哥哥买了皮包、衣服……我买了衣服、零食……

到了7点我们又继续逛街还买了很多零食和东西。到了10点我们去吃宵夜。吃完都已经很晚了，我们高兴地回到酒店休息。

这次旅行不但收获了不少，而且吃了很多特色小吃，还欣赏了美丽的维多利亚港，我可开心了!

这个暑假我们去香港旅行，去了之后我才知道什么叫环保，什么叫大都市。香港人特别讲究环保。到了香港迎面先扑来一阵清新的空气，这时，眼前的景象让我大看眼界，地面一尘不染，干净的都想让我坐下去，阳光普照蓝天白云，不时有几只小鸟掠过，路边的花坛里绿油油的植物配着五颜六色的花朵，一棵棵茂密的大树遮住了透亮的阳光，没有太多汽车的鸣笛和工地的噪音，给人一种优雅平静的休闲生活。

它的建筑风格体现了大都市的气派。那里的大厦高低错落，一栋接着一栋，站在平顶山眺望宛如一条巨龙盘旋在半空，碧蓝的大海向母亲一样把这座华丽的城市拥在怀中，平静的海面波光粼粼，一望无际的海面只能看到几艘豪华游轮慢慢行驶着 ，就像一幅美丽的油彩画。我还体会到了海底世界，里面的生物类、贝壳类、鱼类，五颜六色美丽可爱，有的是奇形怪状丑陋无比，有的上蹿下跳、有的憨厚朴实，它们就像一个大家庭互相衬托着自己的美。传说中的(唐老鸭、米老鼠)那就是迪士尼乐园。里面设施齐全，想玩什么都可以尽情的玩，最让我留恋的是园内的气氛，随处可以看见装扮成小丑和各种动物的人，还有几十人组成的乐队。他们冷不丁的和我招招手或是翻翻眼，偶尔也会突然来个大拥抱，逗得大家哈哈大笑。

In recent years, tourism has been popular and played an important role in our nation’s economic growth. However, I am afraid that if tourism develops over, it will bring harm to the environment and give rise to many problems.

There are a few reasons accounting for my views and I would like to list three of them. One of the examples is that a large number of woods and other plants were replaced by all kinds of accommodation facilities or scenic spots. That definitely breaks the ecological balance of these areas and destroys the natural beauty of the scenic spots. Worse still, more pressure has been placed environment protection in that many tourists left their garbage in the scenic spots. In addition, over-developed tourism will occupy large numbers of farmland and lead to the shortage of the land.

In a word, tourism will be harmful to our environment if it is over development. Thus, I do not advocate that we development tourism without considering the environment. And we should keep the balance between tourism development and environment protection so that we can achieve the sustainable development between our nation’s economy and the environment.

20XX年8月20日7：30分我们怀着心潮澎湃的心情，踏上了去香港的旅途，生命中的一次飞跃，心灵的又一次洗礼。在陈女士的带领下我们一路顺风。享受着陈女士对我们无微不至的照顾和关怀。当地的人情味很浓人。在香港即使是陌生人他们也会热情的和你交谈，当你有困难的时候他们更会尽心尽力的帮助你们，我们8人在香港问路时他们都会热心的帮助。

其次来说说香港市民的素质，先拿香港司机来说吧。当我坐上大巴车时驶向目的地时，发现了一个秘密，香港的公共交通非常发达，城市行车井然有序。可是香港的马路很狭窄，所谓城市交通是考验一个城市的现代化文明程度，像香港这么拥挤的弹丸之地，我很好奇也很惊讶香港的司机为什么开车怎么那么井然有序。

在香港的第2天，我们乘坐了那里的地铁，那里的环境给人一种井井有条的舒适，虽然是有人打扫，但是没有行人的配合是不够的。走进地铁，展现在眼前的是一副温馨的场面：虽然车上人很多，但是大家都很好的相处。并且对于一些需要帮助的乘客，还有许多人会热情的让座，帮助，这是东莞这座同样是国际的大都市所缺乏的。

我最想说的是香港的风景，那儿真的很美很美，香港地处亚热带，水天相接，浑然一体，到处都是大叶子的绿色植物，显得生气盎然啊!被人们称为“东方之珠”的香港在我眼前就像是海市蜃楼。一座座高楼大厦，设计别致，非常独特。

香港的夜景最让人留恋，夜空下的香港有如无数繁星陨落，覆盖在一片富丽的土地上。星星的点缀，比世上最美的灯光要更灿烂，更辉煌。透彻的空气，就像香港透明的历史，预示了香港透明的明天，更加华丽的盛开。一朵紫荆花的帐绽放，吸引了世界的目光，它的香飘了每一位华人的身边，让人激动，感怀。它久久的盛开着，不思疲惫，正如它当初迫切的挣扎着回到伟大祖国怀抱一样的不思疲惫。我们爱香港，我们爱它的一切!

这次旅行真的让我收获很大，它让我学会了独立生活，增强了与别人交流的能力，认识了香港多姿多彩的多元文化。

I think Shanghai is a city full of times.It is an international metropolis, but also has the biuldings of the Republic of China.

On my first night in shanghai,I went to the Huangpu River.There is bright light on the tall buildings on the other side.It was comfortable to walk by the river and enjoy the wind.

The second day I visited the Oriental Pearl.It’s the symbol of Shanghai and it is located in the Huangpu River at the point of Lujiazui.And then I took the subway to cross Huangpu River tunnel for sightseeing.It connects the Bund, Shanghai and Pudong.There are all kinds of colors and patterns transforming constantly in the tunnel.I was very excited. The Bund, Shanghai is on the other side of the Huangpu River.There are 52 different styles of classical revival buildings.It is the symbol of the history of Shanghai.When I saw these buildings,I could felt the style in Shanghai at that time. Madame Tussauds and Old millfun 1933 are my favourite.I saw many Chinese superstars’ wax figures such as Wu Yifan,Huang Xiaoming in Madame Tussauds.And there are also internastional stars,sports stars,cultural celebrities and so on.These wax figures are like a real person.I was very interested in it.Old millfun 1933 is famous.Tiny Times and Running man have shoted here.It is not gorgeous ,but it reserved integrity.It shows us the culture about that time.

Shanghai gave me a perfect holiday.

Inrecent years, tourism has been popular and played an important role in ournation’s economic growth. However, I am afraid that if tourism develops over,it will bring harm to the environment and give rise to many problems.

近年来，旅游业已经变得很流行，在我国经济发展中发挥了重要作用。然而，我害怕如果旅游业过度发展，它会给环境带来危害，并引发很多问题。

Thereare a few reasons accounting for my views and I would like to list three ofthem. One of the examples is that a large number of woods and other plants werereplaced by all kinds of accommodation facilities or scenic spots. Thatdefinitely breaks the ecological balance of these areas and destroys thenatural beauty of the scenic spots. Worse still, more pressure has been placedenvironment protection in that many tourists left their garbage in the scenicspots. In addition, over-developed tourism will occupy large numbers offarmland and lead to the shortage of the land.

我想列出其中三个可以解释我观点的几个理由。其中一个例子是大量的森林以及一些其他的植物被各种住宿设施或风景名胜区替代了。那肯定会打破这些地区的生态平衡，破坏风景名胜区的自然美。更糟的是，环境保护已经面临更大的压力了，因为许多游客在离开景点的时候把他们的垃圾丢在景点里。此外，过度开发旅游业会占用大量的耕地，导致土地短缺。

Ina word, tourism will be harmful to our environment if it is over development.Thus, I do not advocate that we development tourism without considering theenvironment. And we should keep the balance between tourism development andenvironment protection so that we can achieve the sustainable developmentbetween our nation’s economy and the environment.

总之，如果过度开发旅游业会对我们的环境有害。因此，我不同意在没考虑环境问题下就开发旅游业。我们应该保持旅游开发与环境保护之间的平衡，使我们能够在我们国家的经济和环境之间实现可持续发展。

7月30日，我们坐飞机到达深圳。在飞机场出口，我们看到了爸爸的朋友，小林叔叔。叔叔用车，把比赛地点确认。再带我们去宾馆。

宾馆的房间很豪华，很软。休息了一会，就去吃饭。那里的饭可真好吃，我吃了一碗又一碗。到了宾馆，洗完澡，就去睡了。第二天，我们去比赛，我们到的时候她们还没来。比赛完了，是个第6名。

早上，我们去过海关。那里的人很多，我拽着妈妈紧紧的，以防走散。到了香港，我觉得又兴奋又激动，找到那个宾馆，把行李放一下，就去逛街了。

晚上，我们迷迷糊糊的走回宾馆，一不小心迷路了，幸好爸爸认路，不然就惨了。早上，我们又提前到达了比赛地点。

开始跳啦，我认真跳着每一个步伐，展现着完美的舞步。比完了，得去后台领奖。最后得了一个亚军，好开心啊!

回去的那一天来到了，我们到深圳，坐飞机回杭州。回到家后，我倒在床上，睡着了。真希望我能做个好梦。

There has been a long time since I came back from Hainan―wowhainan is such a wonderful place that I will never forget it .It‘s really a good place where gave me a rather good impression. I feel so wonderful during the journey as I have experienced a lot of things for the first time.

In January 7th ---the first day of my journey the fluttering snowflakes diffused over Changzhou. I first took the train to shanghai then took the plane to Hainan in Pudong airport. Although it’s my second time to take plane I felt even more excited than the first time. When flying I found that I was flying over the cloud of different types and colors. The sky is also brighter and clearer than that I had ever seen. Soon we arrived in Meilan airport in Haikou the climate is totally different from that in Changzhou It was warm there and we could see coconut trees everywhere.

After 3 days competition I went to BoAo where is famous for its forum. It was my first time to experience the sea and the beach in the sunshine. When sitting on the cruise I could clearly see the ocean waves pushing the windows of the cruise. It seemed that I was surrounded by the waves and the crystal water. I felt as if a fish which had been living in the sea happily. Then we land on the beach. The sand on the beach was so soft that it was cosy to lie on the beach. I tried searching for the shells on the beach but failed. The beach was totally different from what I heard before as there was nothing except footsteps on the beach. In the afternoon I played football on beach and scored a goal with my new friends from all around China. It was really interesting and challenging.

The next day I went to Haikou. I first visited the tomb of Hairui an officer in Qing dynasty who was famous for rectitude. I think he should be the role model of every person. In the afternoon I went to the geological park of volcano. A lot of stones of different shapes came into views. When arriving the top of the park it seemed that the while city was under my view. Also I had seen plenty of interesting and rare types of the plants. I also got into a small hole in the park it is said that the hold was exactly the original hole where maqma came from. But the volcano had stopped from erupting for thousands of years.

I can’t forget this trip not only does it give me a lot of joy knowledge and good memory but also it give me a chance to make friends with people from different fart in China. By enjoying the excellent scenery I think I have fallen in love with this beautiful city. I will cherish this experience.

on summer holiday my parents took me to beijing. we stayed at huabei hotel. on the first day, we went to the great wall. the great wall is very long and old. it has millions of bricks. each brick is very big and heavy. lots of people from different countries like climbing the great wall. we felt very tired when we climbed to the top of the great wall.

we also went to the palace museum. the palace museum has 9999 palaces. it has a very long history. i bought a lot of souvenirs of the palace museum. what nice palaces these are! i visited the palace museum and felt excited. if you want to know more about the palace museum, you can go to beijing and have a look.

the following days, we went to the summer palace, tian tan, north lake and xiang hill. i now know more about the history of china. i also like modern beijing. the 2008 olympic games will be held in beijing.

later, i went back with my parents by train. i really enjoyed the trip to beijing.

In last years eleven holiday, our family went to Lanzhou and Xining to travel. That afternoon, Dad suddenly told us to travel, we promised.

Our first goal is Lanzhou, and we dont know the road at high speed. It was dark. We went all the way in the mountain road. Finally, we arrived in Lanzhou. After dinner, we began to find hotels, went to many hotels, but they were all overcrowded. We searched and searched, and finally found a guest house. The second day, we went to Wuquanshan, many people drove up to the door of my difficult to calm the mood. Bought a ticket in the first eye to is Huo statue around the past is a temple, called Confucian Temple.

Where we took a photo and went out to the mountain, we go on a mountain is wuquanshan. Because of the rain, many roads were mud, a lot of mud was stained on the shoes, and then I saw the attic. It seems the Huo, we went down the steps down the road I inadvertently looked down is a small squirrel on the tree to jump for a while and then disappeared. Down the hill, we did not stop at Xining again. In the evening, we came to Xining in Qinghai province. We found the hotel, lived and slept for a night to relieve the fatigue of the day. In the morning, we were ready to go to Qinghai, and we started out after breakfast. On the way we came to a place and had a strong wind. I came out and shook and went to sleep in the car. When I woke up to the edge of the lake in Qinghai, I stretched out, and I knew that the ticket for Qinghai Lake was 50 yuan.

I see mom and dads eyes know is not to buy a ticket, we had to walk along the road and found no fence, there is one family living they took us to the lake, took a photo, listen to them before the Qinghai Lake is great, but now more and more small, this is not the results of the protection ring. We slept early in the evening, because we were going home tomorrow.

I dont want to go back! Ill come again if theres a chance!
