今年寒假我回老家过年，老家在农村。记得下过一场雪后，地上积了厚厚的一层雪，走在上面一步一个脚印，还有雪被挤压的吱吱声。等雪化了，雪水融到土壤里，使得那乡间的小道变得泥泞起来，踩在上面就好象踩在自己床上柔软的床垫上一样，真的有种“以天为庐地为盖”的感觉，而且因为土壤吸足了水分，所以你只要稍稍用力，就会留下泛着一层水印的脚印，你带走的是些许雪水和泥巴；小时侯我去过海边，和爸爸妈妈一起走在沙滩上，潮水送来阵阵咸咸凉凉湿湿的海风，我们的身后留下了一串男人的脚印，一串女人的脚印，一串小小的我的脚印；我们带走了大自然鬼斧神工的晶莹砂粒。

城市里，没有泥巴地，更没有沙滩，有的只是水泥的或铺上装饰性瓷砖的人行道，走在上面，任凭你再用力，也不会有脚印。雨天，只会踩出一个个稍纵即逝的水圈，带走灰尘与雨水的混合浊液；不下雨的时候更是什么也留不下，只能带走两鞋底尘埃，进门之前也被拒之门外。

在乡间留下的脚印，不知要多少时间才会平；在海边留下的脚印，海风会慢慢将它揉平，海浪会慢慢将它抚平。总之这两者都需要时间，有过程；不像在城市，人人脚步匆匆，忙于奔命，不会留下脚印，也就不需要时间来填补。

我猜，以上或许反映了人们与他们所处环境的关系。关系越亲密，脚印消失得就越慢。在老家，人们生活在那片土地上，他们在那土地上劳动，收获，他们爱土地，他们已经与土地融为一体，难分难舍，土地也舍不得把那些人们怀着诚挚的纯洁的情感留给她的脚印抹掉；在海边，人们虽不住在那里，却也是用一颗放松的自然的心灵去感受海风，享受沙滩，欣赏大海；而在钢筋水泥林立的城市，人们从不把这灰色的空间当作自己的家，每个人都只是这里的一个过客，每颗心都在流浪，都无所依靠，无所信赖，每颗心都蒙上了一层灰色的尘土，变得麻木，冷漠，或者说每个人都是那浮游在半空的尘埃，也许只有尘埃落定的那一天才会知道什么是塌实。

留下脚印时的感觉叫塌实，可有些人忙碌一生也没曾留下一个脚印。
