Oceans becoming more acidicThe worlds oceans are slowly getting more acidic, say scientists.The researchers from California say the change is taking place in response to higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.The lowering of the waters pH value is not great at the moment but could pose a serious threat to current marine life if it continues, they warn.Ken Caldeira and Michael Wickett, from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, report their concerns in the journal Nature.Increasing use of fossil fuels means more carbon dioxide is going into the air, and most of it will eventually be absorbed by seawater.

Once in the water, it reacts to form carbonic acid.Scientists believe that the oceans have already become slightly more acidic over the last century.But these researchers have tried to predict what will happen in the future by combining what we know about the history of the oceans with computer models of climate change."This level of acidity will get much more extreme in the future if we continue releasing CO2 into the atmosphere," said Dr Caldeira."And we predicted amounts of future acidity that exceed anything we saw over the last several hundred million years, apart from perhaps after rare catastrophic events such as asteroid impacts."If carbon dioxide release continues unabated, ocean pH could be reduced by as much as 0.77 units, the authors warn.It is not absolutely clear what that means for marine life, however.

Deforestation removes old growth trees that cant be replaced. Too much fishing may harm fish populations to the point where they cant recover. 早春时节，“两个黄鹂鸣翠柳，一行白鹭上青天。”，“春眠不觉晓，处处闻啼鸟。”，一阵阵清脆的鸟鸣声在耳边缭绕，清新自然，韵味无穷。

夏天的田园，“稻花香里说丰年，听取蛙声一片。”，那是一种多么壮观多么恢弘的场面啊！此起彼伏的蛙声交织一片，成为一支气势磅礴的田园交响曲。那是丰收的礼赞！我们跟随着辛弃疾一起去聆听美妙动听的蛙声，去体验丰收的喜悦。

秋天的江面上，飒飒的秋风掠过，枯萎的梧桐树叶在空中飘动，“萧萧梧叶送寒声，江上秋风动客情。”，客游在外的诗人触景生情，抑制不住对家乡亲人的思念之情。耳边突然响起那阵阵萧瑟的秋风，眼前浮现出一幅令人心生凉意的画面。诗人借风——这种大自然的声音，抒发了一种思乡念亲、怀想故园的感情，写梧叶飘飞，寒声阵阵，秋风瑟瑟，江船漂泊，有力地烘托出诗人客居他乡、辗转漂泊的凄凉心境。来到杜甫的的草堂，听见“八月秋高风怒号，卷我屋上三重茅。”，我们感受到了秋风的猛烈，也体验到了杜甫当时那种处于穷困潦倒，极度窘迫的凄惨状况，更能体会他忧国忧民的心境。

寒冬的的山中，北风呼啸，大雪纷飞。“柴门闻犬吠，风雪夜归人。”，在寂静的山谷中传来狗叫声，在人面前呈现出一幅“风雪夜归图”。

我十分愿意去聆听脚踩在落叶上的声音，“沙——沙——”，因为它十分清脆。因为它听起来像树叶在跳舞，听起来来心情十分舒畅。

我十分愿意去倾听树叶随风摇曳的声音，“刷——刷——”，因为它格外清晰。因为它听起来像树叶在合唱，有高声部也有低声部，听起来十分和谐。

我十分愿意去倾听小溪流淌的声音，“哗啦——哗啦——”，也十分悦耳。小溪像是在向溪边人打招呼，好客的小溪总是想用它美妙悦耳的声音留住过往的客人。

当我听到呼呼的风声，我想随风飞舞，去游览祖国大好河山。

当我听到潺潺的流水声，我想变成一条活泼的金鱼，在大海中畅游。

当我听到蛙鸣，我就好想能在静静的夏夜躺在凉椅上去数星星。

在古代，人们把六称为阴数，九称为阳数。九月九这一天，两阳相聚称之为“重阳”，这一天又叫做“老人节”，是我国一个历史悠久的节日。

今天下午，值勤过后，我就和同学一起坐43路车回家。车上很挤，我好不容易才找到一个座位，就一屁股坐下了，可以好好的休息一会了。

可是，车刚过了一站地，有一位老爷爷上车了，他微微驼背，大概六十多岁的 样子。我马上就想到了要给老人让座，但又转念一想，自己好不容易才坐下，让了怪可惜的。

怎么办啊?到底是 让还是不让?我想，身为一个少先队员，如果我不让的话，那又怎么对得起我胸前的红领巾呢?不能再想了，我一定要让。于是，我站起来，说：“爷爷，您来坐吧!”只见爷爷笑了笑，然后慢慢地坐下，并对我说：“真是好孩子!”我听了以后，心里也乐了，因为我做到了。

虽然我失去了一个供我休息的座位，但是，我却得到了表扬的话语和愉快的心情，这是多么快乐呀!

As Chinese traditional virtue, helping others and taking care of each other

are the basic virtue of a person. We are lucky that we are born to be a healthy

person, while some persons are not that lucky, they may be born to be a disable

man or get hurt by accidents. Out of the basic virtue, it is not right to laugh

at them, we need to help each other, showing our love to them. December 3rd,

2013 is World Disabled Day, the day reminds people of the care about disable

men. The disable often ignored by us, since they are special group, we should

take care of them, give them our hands. We can do something for them, like

helping them when cross the road. We can help them from small things, helping

each other makes the world more beautiful.

Ienjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is joyful.When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I also singout to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.
