我记得一位香港著名导演在向后辈们谈起经验时曾不止一次地强调“用实力说话。”没有实力你就没有话语权。当他第一次主导一部影片时，作为导演的他只是想让摄影师将摄像机向右移1。5m，可是摄影师在拍摄时却直接忽略了他的要求，就是那不可移动的1。5m，彻底地让他认识到实力的重要。没有实力你就没有话语权，你连1。5m都移动不了。所以，之后的他将全部身心投入创作，以作品证明实力。如今，片场的他，所有演员及工作人员都尊敬他。关于1。5m他已不需多说，工作人员会自觉做到最好，只为了表示彼此的尊重。

中华民族自古以来都是一个讲究修养的民族。千百年来的文明礼仪流传至今。我国以“文明古国”和“礼仪之邦”著称于世。文明美德的事迹随处可见，虽然有时被我们忽略了，但让我们很欣慰的是文明美德早已融入了人们的生活中，让生活变得多姿多彩!

我儿时不懂得要保护环境，不知道地球已经千疮百孔。上学后，老师教育我们要保护环境，节约能源，创造低碳生活。地球上的资源逐渐减少，许多动物在人们的捕杀下濒临灭绝，多种植物也在人们的砍伐下消失了。因此我开始节约用水和用电，如：用淘米水浇花，擦桌子的水去拖地，尽量不用空调，用扇子扇风，不乱扔垃圾，买东西时自带环保袋，废物手工制作成一个新物品，节约纸张，正反面再使用。爱护花草树木，保护小动物，让他们和人类共享蓝天……有一次，我看到一位小朋友在草坪上跑来跑去，绿草地被踩倒一片。我立即上前告诉她，不能踩踏草坪，小草也有生命，也在绿化着家园，小朋友脸羞红了。我的家人也在我的影响下走向了节约、环保的新生活。我相信，不久的将来，会有更多的人加入到环保节能的行列中，世界文明美德蔚然成风。

尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学大家下午好！今天我演讲的题目是：把信心留给自己。

信心是什么呢？信心就是一种力量，是对学习与生活充满乐观与进取的信念，是克服学习上，生活上遇到的困难的决心与勇气，是任何情况下都不动摇，并努力为之奋斗的动力源泉，是一种永不服输的精神。在人生路途中，信心尤为重要，信心是成功的保证，有了自信，事情便成功了一大半。

信心是火，信心是灯，信心是路。记得在一次语文考试中，我只考了68分！拿到卷子的那一刹那，我傻了，我的心也碎了！我不知如何开口与爸爸妈妈说出这个成绩？我更不敢想像他们看到这张卷子时，会有什么样的反应？但我知道，他们一定会伤心、失望、唠叨、恨我不争气的种种表情油然而生……这个可恶的68分，会让我时常洋溢欢乐的空气顿时凝固，想到这些，我的心情越来越沉，步子也变得越来越重，刚到家，爸爸好像就看出了我的心事，抢先一句就问：印印今天有什么不开心的事儿吗？爸……我错了，才考了68分。眼泪像断了线的珠子似的……这时父亲语重心长地对我说，失败是成功之母，下次重新来过，相信你一定能行！宽容与激励尤如一股暖流充溢在我全身，我对自己说:“振作起来吧！在学习之路上，失败并不可怕，可怕的是失去信心。加油，把这68分抛弃，让它成为我前进的动力。”

一个人，要想成为一个成功者，那么他首先要具备的是信心，如果没有信心，那他就不会成功。同学，也许你现在的成绩不好，不过，别怕！只要你还有一份自信；也许你现在正面临着一些困难，不要退缩，相信吧！你总会挺过去的。只要我们鼓起勇气去面对，就算我们失败了，我努力过！我无怨无悔！

鄙人嗜好行文、书法、画画，闲暇之余还爱养花弄草，在养植花草的过程中，既总结出了花性也感悟出了不少做人的道理。

几十年的养花之道，培养过夜来香、米兰、昙花、君子兰、茶花、令箭、扶桑牡丹、龟背竹、一品红、洋绣球、马蹄莲、仙客来、蟹爪兰等花花草草。在培养摸索中发现它们有的喜水、有的喜旱、有的喜阳、有的喜阴、有的喜肥、有的喜瘠，虽然没有成为养花的行家里手，但也明白了一花一品性的道理。

米兰在塞外培养是不易成活的，培养过好几盆，娇生惯养着还是出现枯枝败叶，慢慢地离我而去。夜来香细细的枝条儿婀娜多姿，因为它晚上释放出来的香气太袭人了，让人难以入眠，半夜三更你得把它搬出室外，搬到楼道的话，邻居会误以为你不要这香喷喷的花了，马上会把它这个“情人花”请到他的家里的，说它是个情人的花种不为过之吧。

养花还能悟出来孝道来。看着令箭花开的过程你会想到培养自己的父母亲，当春天来临前，长扁的茎叶上刚刚努出个小白点，茎叶就从根部吸取着营养，叶子摸上去厚墩墩的，小不点的花骨朵像婴儿吸吮着母汁由小变大，逐渐长成了嫩绿色的小喇叭，这个时候它多么像你无忧无虑童年时代。

随着花蕾的营养需求加大，叶茎为花蕾输送营养的叶脉像母亲手背上粗粗崩起的青筋，拼命地为花蕾的绽放输送着营养。花蕾没有辜负母亲的培养，渐渐地由绿变成胭脂色，显示出含苞欲放的姿态，这时的花蕾多么像一个害羞的满脸通红的新娘子。这个时候它多么就像你的豆蔻年华。

花蕾再也憋不住了，这个无限花序慢慢地悄然无声地舒展着花托上的萼片，多么像出茧的蝴蝶梳理着翅膀。外花瓣相互打着招呼一片片伸展着，喇叭型的花苞终于大方地张开了嘴，吐出一根长长地嫩黄色的花芯子来，这个时候它多么像就像你的青年时期。

花儿是绽放了，再回头看看令箭的叶茎吧，为了花儿的开放耗尽了所有的营养和精力，无精打采恹恹的样子，但还是挺起了起皱薄薄的叶茎自豪地看着盛开的花儿，因为那是她的希望是她亲生的孩子。

起皱的叶茎它多么像劳作了一生的父母，他们低头看着自己肌肉松弛的双臂，她的儿女们像花儿一样开放了，再不需要牵她的手了，她无奈地站在村口，用青筋裸露变了型的手，遮住西落夕阳的直射，眺望着大路上有没有走来个熟悉的人影，企盼着儿女身影的出现。看客朋友你读到这样感觉鄙人说的是这个理吧？你有没有想起自己辛勤的父母亲呢？

最普通最容易成活的花就数洋绣球了，它就是刚开始学习养花的练手花。普通的人们都忘记了它的名字叫天竺葵了，它生性体格健壮而不易染病虫害，剪一个花枝不论插入什么土壤，有一点水就能健康成长。你就是半个月忘记给它浇水，它照样生机怏然给你奉献出或红、或白、或紫、或粉的大圆绣球花。

它怎么不会抱怨主人对自己的不公平呢？人怎么老是有抱怨呢？抱怨自己出生在农民家庭；抱怨自己没有个有钱有势的父母；抱怨父母亲没有给自己提供一个好的学习环境；抱怨自己怀才不遇；抱怨父母亲没有能力给自己购房买车；抱怨自己为什么没有……反正抱怨老天爷对自己是很不公平的，总是把机遇幸福送给了别人。

洋绣球为什么能开在千家万户呢？关键是能随遇而安。所以人类学习洋绣球花的平凡精神是很有必要的。你父母亲无权无势，为什么不可以从你开始有钱有势呢？你父母亲没有给自己提供一个好的学习环境，你可以给你孩子提供一个好的学习环境，从你这一辈成为书香门第。抱怨自己怀才不遇，仔细审视一下自己是不是太高看了自己？平凡的人就不一定平庸；平凡的人就不一定没有高尚的情操；平凡的人就不一定做不成闪光的事情，其实踏踏实实做人才是生存之道。

爱心是什么？爱心是鼓起你生命风帆的激动；爱心是什么？爱心是雪中送炭式的资助；爱心是什么？爱心是抚慰你受伤心灵的一抹微笑。因此，要学会做人就要先懂得什么是爱心。

有一件事让我至今难忘。记得那一天放学了，我和好伙伴走在放学的路上。忽然看见了一只小狗趴在地上，由于好奇，我们飞快地跑过去看。只见那只小狗的腿上有伤，我漫不经心地说：“我们走我们的，管它呢？”好朋友却焦躁不安地说：“拜托你有点爱心好不好，如果我们不帮助它，它会死去的。”

我回头看看那只小狗，它正可怜巴巴地望着我们。我最终还是拗不过她，只好依了她。她向四周望了望，只见这里附近没有人居住，应该是条流浪狗吧！她踌躇了一会儿，最终决定把小狗带回家。她每天都精心地照顾小狗，和小狗一起散步，一起上学，没过几天，小狗的伤就好了。她对待小狗就像对待自己的亲人一样，我看着她每天和小狗玩耍，深深地被她的爱心打动了。

从她的身上我学会了做人应该学会关心他人，不论是人还是动物。因为爱心，流浪的人们才能重返家园；因为爱心，疲惫的灵魂才能活力如初；渴望爱心，如同星光渴望彼此辉映；渴望爱心，如同世纪之歌永远被唱下去

梦，是人生路上的指南针;梦，是每个人为之努力的方向;梦，是每个人心中的摇篮。每个人都有自己的梦，如果把每个人的梦都凝聚在一起，就是一个硕大的中国梦!我心中一直有个梦，那就是——把微笑传给每一个人。

记得那次我家还住在乡下平房的时候，一场大雨过后，那条每周我上辅导班必经的小河上的水泥桥被河水和冲得早已不见踪影，却只有水泥桥对面的圆木桥，那个平时我空手走也要胆战心惊许久的桥。

面对那桥我犹豫不决，还有十分钟就要上课了。我猛地扛起车，做了一个“伟大”的决定：扛车从桥上走过去。前几十米，我在雄赳赳气昂昂的气氛中进行。渐渐地，脚下的木头在不停的抖着，桥下的水湍急的流着，我的腿开始打软，好像不能再支撑我身体重量。我不知自己是怎样走到桥中央的，我的脚步顿时寸步难挪。哗哗的流水声使我更加害怕，使我几次差点把我自己心爱的车扔进河里去。

就在这进退两难的时刻，突然，肩上的车子轻了起来，继而渐渐地离开了我肩膀。是一只大手从我手中取下自行车的。那一刻，心中有无法说出的感激。我扭过头：一张陌生的脸上充满了最朴实的微笑。时间不容我细看，那一瞬间，那个微笑那么真诚、那么可爱!

车子和我终于安全到达对岸，满心的感激使我仔细地看看那微笑的脸：不算黑的皮肤，眯细的双眼挡不住那真诚的目光，干裂的嘴唇微微张开——一位四十多岁朴实的农民。

这一笑，普通得再普通!那一笑我始终不能忘记，它是人世间最美好的东西。我曾试着以同样的微笑去扶跌倒的儿童，以同样的微笑去帮助行走困难的老人。每当我不求回报帮助别人并赋之最纯真的微笑时，那藏在心中的笑的价值与含义得到了体现。

所以，我一直有个梦：把微笑送给每个需要它的人。让每一个接受笑的人再送给需要它的人。那是一种称不上崇高却足以让自己自豪的滋味。如果每个人都做到了，那么一个伟大的中国梦——人与人之间和谐共处，就可以实现了。

因此我要用我的梦，去传递中国梦!

清晨，我们来到了“亦琴坊”。一踏入院子，眼前全是绿色的植物，感觉特别清新。房间的墙上挂着一张张造型各异古琴。

我们有幸请高老师弹奏古琴曲《流水》、《广陵散》。高老师通过深入浅出的讲解和精湛的琴艺，营造出悠远、宁静、深邃的意境，我们都深深地陶醉在那美妙的音乐中。

接着，高老师为我们介绍古琴的制作过程：“古琴的制作过程是很复杂的。”高老师边说边指着那张还没安上琴弦的古琴。那是一块已经削成古琴形状的木板，只是被擦上一层黑漆。高老师说：“古琴的油漆工艺很讲究，琴胚制成后要裹上麻布。然后上漆，要把鹿角霜和油漆调在一起。然后在古琴上磨擦，这样这样反复上漆、摩擦大概要五六次。加上鹿角霜是为了使它的音不太响。而接着推光使琴体细致光滑，但最后还要再上一层漆，主要是为了让它的色泽不要太明亮。”为什么呢？我不禁心生疑惑：不是音色响亮、光泽耀人才更能吸引人吗？老师看出了我的疑惑，解释道：“古琴音色低沉内敛、古朴暗淡，适合自修内心。古语‘古筝悦人，古琴悦己’说的就是这个道理。”哦，这不正是所谓的“低调”吗？

人也是要如此。我们班的一个同学学习成绩很好，但她从不骄傲。每次拿到好成绩后，她还总是说：“这次比上次退步了一点，有几处是不会的，要多请教老师。”这不正是“低调”的表现吗？而且每当有人夸赞她的成绩时，她都会说一句：“哪有。”我很佩服她的谦虚低调。虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。她不就是一个活生生的例子吗？因此，她便成了我的榜样。我也变得更低调了。即使偶尔得了出乎意料的好成绩，我也从不张扬，面对别人的赞扬也学着她说：“哪有？”

为琴要低调，为人也要低调。低调能使我们更理性地认识自我，使平日里的言行举止更有分寸，使自己慢慢成为一个更有内涵、更有品味的人。

同学们，老师们，大家早上好，我今天国旗下讲话的主题是《远离香烟，健康生活》。

同学们，你们知道5月31日是什么日子吗?是世界无烟日。同学们，你知道吸烟对人体的危害吗?大量的科学研究证明，吸烟对人体健康的危害十分广泛。所有烟草中都含有可导致人体发生多种致死性和致残性毒素;吸烟者还容易患癌症。

既然烟草有如此可怕的危害，为什么有众多的人吸烟呢?原因主要有两个:一是烟草中所含的尼古丁令人上瘾，使人对它产生依赖,不容易戒掉;另一个原因是大多数人还没有把吸烟看成是既害人又害己的行为，相反,认为这是一件很有派头，很潇洒的事情。

对青少年来说，吸烟的危害不仅会导致很多疾病，还会影响骨骼生长发育，甚至可以导致早衰，早亡，吸烟还可能使青少年养成不良的生活习惯,诱发不良行为,甚至引发犯罪。反吸烟已成为我国迫在眉睫的当务之急。为了下一代的健康成长，我们要大声呐喊：不要让烟雾笼罩我们!

Faculty, family, friends, and fellow graduates, good evening.

I am honored to address you tonight. On behalf of the graduating masters and doctoral students of Washington Universitys School of Engineering and Applied Science, I would like to thank all the parents, spouses, families, and friends who encouraged and supported us as we worked towards our graduate degrees. I would especially like to thank my own family, eight members of which are in the audience today. I would also like to thank all of the department secretaries and other engineering school staff members who always seemed to be there when confused graduate students needed help. And finally I would like to thank the Washington University faculty members who served as our instructors, mentors, and friends.

As I think back on the seven-and-a-half years I spent at Washington University, my mind is filled with memories, happy, sad, frustrating, and even humorous.

Tonight I would like to share with you some of the memories that I take with me as I leave Washington University.

I take with me the memory of my office on the fourth floor of Lopata Hall - the room at the end of the hallway that was too hot in summer, too cold in winter, and always too far away from the womens restroom. The window was my offices best feature. Were it not for the physics building across the way, it would have afforded me a clear view of the arch. But instead I got a view of the roof of the physics building. I also had a view of one corner of the roof of Urbauer Hall, which seemed to be a favorite perch for various species of birds who alternately won perching rights for several weeks at a time. And I had a nice view of the physics courtyard, noteworthy as a good place for watching people run their dogs. Its amazing how fascinating these views became the longer I worked on my dissertation. But my favorite view was of a nearby oak tree. From my fourth-floor vantage point I had a rather intimate view of the tree and the various birds and squirrels that inhabit it. Occasionally a bird would land on my window sill, which usually had the effect of startling both of us.

I take with me the memory of two young professors who passed away while I was a graduate student. Anne Johnstone, the only female professor from whom I took a course in the engineering school, and Bob Durr, a political science professor and a member of my dissertation committee, both lost brave battles with cancer. I remember them fondly.

I take with me the memory of failing the first exam in one of the first engineering courses I took as an undergraduate. I remember thinking the course was just too hard for me and that I would never be able to pass it. So I went to talk to the professor, ready to drop the class. And he told me not to give up, he told me I could succeed in his class. For reasons that seemed completely ludicrous at the time, he said he had faith in me. And after that my grades in the class slowly improved, and I ended the semester with an A on the final exam. I remember how motivational it was to know that someone believed in me.

I take with me memories of the midwestern friendliness that so surprised me when I arrived in St. Louis 8 years ago. Since moving to New Jersey, I am sad to say, nobody has asked me where I went to high school.

I take with me the memory of the short-lived computer science graduate student social committee lunches. The idea was that groups of CS grad students were supposed to take turns cooking a monthly lunch. But after one grad student prepared a pot of chicken that poisoned almost the entire CS grad student population and one unlucky faculty member in one fell swoop, there wasnt much enthusiasm for having more lunches.

I take with me the memory of a more successful graduate student effort, the establishment of the Association of Graduate Engineering Students, known as AGES. Started by a handful of engineering graduate students because we needed a way to elect representatives to a campus-wide graduate student government, AGES soon grew into an organization that now sponsors a wide variety of activities and has been instrumental in addressing a number of engineering graduate student concerns.

I take with me the memory of an Engineering and Policy department that once had flourishing programs for full-time undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students.

I take with me memories of the 1992 U.S. Presidential debate. Eager to get involved in all the excitement I volunteered to help wherever needed. I remember spending several days in the makeshift debate HQ giving out-of-town reporters directions to the athletic complex. I remember being thrilled to get assigned the job of collecting film from the photographers in the debate hall during the debate. And I remember the disappointment of drawing the shortest straw among the student volunteers and being the one who had to take the film out of the debate hall and down to the dark room five minutes into the debate - with no chance to re-enter the debate hall after I left.

I take with me memories of university holidays which never seemed to apply to graduate students. I remember spending many a fall break and Presidents Day holiday with my fellow grad students in all day meetings brought to us by the computer science department.

I take with me memories of exams that seemed designed more to test endurance and perseverance than mastery of the subject matter. I managed to escape taking any classes that featured infamous 24-hour-take-home exams, but remember the suffering of my less fortunate colleagues. And what doctoral student could forget the pain and suffering one must endure to survive the qualifying exams?

I take with me the memory of the seven-minute rule, which always seemed to be an acceptable excuse for being ten minutes late for anything on campus, but which doesnt seem to apply anywhere else I go.

I take with me the memory of Friday afternoon ACM happy hours, known not for kegs of beer, but rather bowls of rainbow sherbet punch. Over the several years that I attended these happy hours they enjoyed varying degrees of popularity, often proportional to the quality and quantity of the accompanying refreshments - but there was always the rainbow sherbert punch.

I take with me memories of purple parking permits, the West Campus shuttle, checking my pendaflex, over-due library books, trying to print from cec, lunches on Delmar, friends who slept in their offices, miniature golf in Lopata Hall, The Greenway Talk, division III basketball, and trying to convince Dean Russel that yet another engineering school rule should be changed.

Finally, I would like to conclude, not with a memory, but with some advice. What would a graduation speech be without a little advice, right? Anyway, this advice comes in the form of a verse delivered to the 1977 graduating class of Lake Forest College by Theodore Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss - Heres how it goes:

My uncle ordered popovers

from the restaurants bill of fare.

And when they were served,

he regarded them

with a penetrating stare . . .

Then he spoke great Words of Wisdom

as he sat there on that chair:

"To eat these things,"

said my uncle,

"you must excercise great care.

现实中，青少年吸毒已成为一个触目惊心的严重问题。来自国家禁毒委员会办公室的数字表明，我国最近几年青少年吸毒的比例始终在吸毒人口中占80%左右。据不完全统计，16岁以下的少年吸毒人数有所增加，青少年已成为最易受到毒品侵害的“高危人群”。

目前，学校毒品预防教育工作在认识上还存在着一些误区：一是怕学生知道毒品。认为禁毒教育会引发学生的好奇心，促使他们冒险尝试；二是认为禁毒教育是公安部门的事，与学校无关。这些认识误区的一个前提，就是目前在校学生吸毒者罕见。事实上，毒品蔓延的速度相当快，若等到毒品在校园时再来教育，则为时已晚。由此可见加强禁毒教育，做好超前预防工作，是解决青少年吸毒问题的根本途径和出路。

自1997年国家教委规定把禁毒教育作为国民素质教育的组成部分，并正式纳入中小学德育教育教学大纲以来，六年来我校通过“家长学校”、“心理健康教育课”、“青春期专题讲座”、“青年志愿者宣传队”、赴禁毒教育基地参观等多条渠道对家长、学生、社区居民广泛开展了“珍爱生命，远离毒品”、“不让毒品进我家”等宣传教育活动，还组织教师面向市、区专家开了一节“美丽的罂粟花”心理健康教育公开课。学校对学生毒品预防教育的有效性得到家长、社区及区有关部门的高度评价。

学校优良的校风带动着周边小区的精神文明建设，对所在社区的精神文明建设水平的提升具有明显推动作用。学校2001、2002年连续两次评为“石泉社区教育先进学校”、2002年被授予“创精神文明特殊贡献奖”。

至于如何搞好学校禁毒教育，还有待于大家在具体实践中进一步探索，但有一点必须肯定，目前毒品虽尚未在学校出现，但“防患于未然”总比“亡羊补牢”为好。加强毒品预防教育仍然是学校德育工作一个方面，今后学校将从以下几方面开展禁毒工作的实践探索。

老师、同学们，早上好：

2008年11月29日，在福州科技馆，我参加了第24届福州市青少年科技创新大赛，我以环境科学组第一名的成绩，夺得了此次大赛的一等奖。在此，我特别感谢我的指导老师——吴瑞平老师和薛莲老师，她们在这次创新大赛中给了我悉心的指导。我还要感谢其他老师和同学，没有他们的支持，我也无法取得成功。

下面，我简要介绍一下参加此次创新大赛的过程与感想。

我是班级的宣传干部，班级的黑板报总是由我来出。每当我用粉笔写完黑板报后，总感觉接触粉笔的手很干燥，如果不及时的清洗，过不了多久手就会脱皮，难受极了!为什么会有这样的感觉呢?经过查询，我了解到，人的手接触粉笔后，皮肤粘膜会受到刺激，使皮肤变得干燥、粗糙，并伴有搔痒感觉，甚至脱皮。我对粉笔产生了巨大的兴趣。观察粉笔成了我每天的必修课：我发现教室粉笔槽中常有大量废弃的粉笔头;我发现老师的身上、头发上沾满白色的粉笔末;我发现上课时粉笔末在空气中飞扬……原来废弃的粉笔头每年要浪费数以亿计的原材料;原来粉笔末对健康和环境的危害无法估计;原来我亲爱的老师每天都被粉笔末包围!于是，我下决心改造粉笔!

我把这个想法跟指导老师做了交流，她们对此也非常感兴趣，于是我们开始了各种各样的尝试：戴手套上课?不行，不方便、不灵活;在粉笔后加一个塑料套来书写?不行，还是会浪费;把粉笔和黑板换成白板?不行，现实条件不允许。我们陷入了困境，但是大脑从来没有停止过对改造粉笔的思考。在一次剪贴报制作中，我突然发现固体胶的胶体能随着外壳装置的转动而内外伸缩，人的手不用接触胶体，只要抓住外壳就能完成粘贴的工作。把胶体换成粉笔!我激动得大叫出来。于是，我把整个固体胶来了一个大解剖——全部拆开，经过细致的观察，我发现只要找到与粉笔规格大小相匹配的固体胶外壳装置，就可以将粉笔像固体胶的胶体那样固定住。这样一来我就改造出了旋转式的环保粉笔，彻底解决了曾经困扰我的各种问题。

这次旋转式环保粉笔的创造，使我懂得了科学创意来源于生活，只有通过多观察、多动脑、勤动手，才会有所创新。同学们，事事留心皆学问!只要你做一个有心人，你就可以取得成功!

有些时候，别人夸耀你伟大，不是因为你所站的高度，而是因为你可以在最高的位子做最平凡的.自己。

当我们的国家领导人走进田家地头与人民群众握着双手扯家常，当他们坐上了普通人家的热炕头盘着腿与民众一起包饺子，当他们走进贫困人家抱起衣服补了又补脸上脏兮兮的孩子而心酸落泪时，他们早已忘记了自己的身份地位，在他们心中自己与农民都是一样的都是属于这片土地的，他们没有摆臭架子，不需要人们敲锣打鼓的欢迎，他们是普通人，低调的做普通事。

记得康熙皇帝微服私访体察民情，他不要八抬大轿，没有随行护卫，不穿锦绸，不带珠宝，一身最普通的衣服，拿最普通的包袱，他身入群众，与民共患难，与民同享乐，这时的他早已忘记自己是天下的统领者，在他心中，他与庶民一样，他低调的做最普通的事，亲近民众。

当美国的前商务部长骆家辉抵达北京担任驻华大使时，他不要大量随从，不要警卫，一家五口人而矣，他们每个人都自己拿自己的行李，也不需要任何工作人员的帮助，做为驻华大使，他没有那种高高在上的架子，与普通人一样，不需任何随从、警卫，他低调抵华，低调做事，不张不扬，节制自觉。

当美国副总统拜登访问中国时，他们一行五个人而吃饭却仅用79元，深入基层，品味最具特色的地道小吃，没有山珍海味，结账时还不忘对店主说声给你们带来了许多不方便，他节俭节约，这是一个总统的低调，亲近民风，节制自觉。

这些人原本都应高高在上，但是他们身上那种盛气凌人，高人一等的势气都没有体现，有的只是亲民近民，节制自觉，不张扬，不要派，低调的做人做事。

当然，当今社会也有许多人一旦有所地位，有所成就就目中无人，高傲自大，要记得，不是你的位置高人人就会崇拜你，而是即便你在最高的位置，也同样做着最普通的事，永远记得，你只是一个平凡的人，无论位置多高。

低调，是一种心态;低调做事，是最好的处世之道;低调做人，才是最伟大的人。

明天就轮到我演讲了，我又紧张又开心。这可是我第一次演讲呀，一定要好好准备。

回到家，我马上准备演讲稿，接着对着镜子开始一遍又一遍地练习，直到满意为止。

第二天，我自信满满地来到学校，上课了，演讲马上就要开始了，我紧张的心脏都快要跳出来了，我不停地跟自己说：“别慌，别慌，已经把稿子读熟了。可麻烦事发生了，我一摸兜，发现演讲稿忘带了。天哪！急的我眼泪都快掉下来了，没稿子我可怎么演讲啊，放弃？太丢人了，再说也来不及了，那就硬着头皮上吧，我战战兢兢地站在讲台上，开始了演讲。凭着记忆，我磕磕绊绊地说着，因为紧张，我老是停顿，不知道该说什么，我不敢看同学，只能看着天花板，手攥得紧紧的，都攥出汗了。忽然我大脑一片空白，一点都想不起来了，这下怎么办？我慌了神，只听见讲台下同学们小声地嘀咕着什么，我努力的让自己镇定，忽然，演讲稿的内容又回到了我的脑子里，我赶紧讲了下去，终于演讲完了，长舒了一口气，走了下来，感觉自己一下子轻松了。

第一次演讲，让我现在想起来都觉得紧张，下次演讲再也不敢忘带演讲稿了。

今天，我们这一代青年人有幸生活在改革开放的大好时代，有幸站立在世纪和千年交汇点上。我们是幸运者。面对新世纪，我们责任重大。我们回顾发扬“五四”精神，认真思索着，自己应该拥有一个怎样的青春，怎样的人生。记得，最初开始认识“五四”是从小学的历史课开始的。那时，老师讲到“五四”运动，向我们讲述帝国主义列强对中国的种种欺凌，讲述青年们为祖国不惜献身的种种壮举。当时，我们虽然还不能完全理解其中的深刻道理，但有如一丝曙光照亮蒙昧的荒原，我们幼小的心田中已播下了爱国的种子。渐渐地，我们长大了，我们成为风华正茂的青年，我们更加深刻地懂得了五四的传统和精神。想想那些曾经与我们差不多大的五四青年吧!他们稚嫩的肩上早已承当起一份救亡图存的重任，而今天建设祖国的重任将别无选择地落在我们这一代人的肩上，我们是否应该为祖国的更加繁荣昌盛而奉献我们的一切?

人们每每谈到我们苏北老区总是感慨万分。苏北大地，是一片美丽而神奇的土地，我们盐阜地区也曾在中国革命史上留下过光辉的一页。戎马倥偬的年代，这一方热土，曾经为中国的革命付出了多么昂贵的代价。新中国成立后，这里的人们用自己的双手，凭着苏北人的勤劳和智慧，使自己的家乡发生了翻天覆地的变化。说起这一切，我们心中总是充满自豪。但是，我们也应该看到，这里与祖国的其他发达地区相比还有着很大的差距，这里个别地方的贫困还有待于进一步治理。这里的整体经济还有待进一步的腾飞。我们，作为苏北青年，首先应该感觉到的是什么?责任，感到的应该是责任。“生我是这片土地，养我是这片土地。”我们爱着脚下的这片热土。我们就要承担起建设家乡，繁荣家乡的责任。

在我的家乡，有一位与我的父亲同龄人。他就是全国闻名的身残志坚的农村科技铁人姜德明。他立足农田，孜孜不倦地研究着小麦、棉花如何在家乡的土地上能够有更高的总产量。当他的研究取得了初步成果时，癌症又一次地向他袭来。他没有倒下，拄着拐杖依然风里雨里地留在田头，走访在农户家中。不懈的努力，他培育出的优良品种得到了推广，种植技术得到了普及，粮食总产量大幅度提高，农民的双手欢迎这样的农技员。把他誉为“农技铁人”。他是我们老区青年的好榜样。去年，他在我市青年成人宣誓仪式上谆谆告诫我们，为老区经济的腾飞，要努力学习，掌握科学文化知识，立足本职，捧着一颗心来，不带半根草去!我们记住了这位铁人的话，我们意识到了自己的责任，我们盐阜老区的青年们都会努力的。

是的，责任放在我们每个青年的肩上，放眼新世纪，振兴中华，建设家乡，我们是不会退缩的。

其次，我们应该从小养成爱劳动的好习惯。在家里，自己的衣服自己穿，自己的床铺自己折，自己的书包自己理;在学校，积极打扫卫生，时刻保持环境的整洁;在社会上，积极参加力所能及的公益活动，培养自己的适应能力。

大家好！今天我要演讲的题目是《祖国在我心中》。祖国，是每个中国人伟大的母亲，她一步步走到今天，已饱经沧桑。中国，从一个被帝国主义欺凌的国家变成一个万众瞩目的国家。这一切，都归功于为新中国成立而抛头颅、洒热血的革命先烈，和为新中国成立做出贡献的人！

翻开历史的书页，我们看到了如今强大的中国那坎坷不平的曾经：八国联军火烧圆明园；令人疾心痛首的南京大屠杀；虎门上升起的硝烟展开了一段激烈的战争。……这些都是我们不能忘记的耻辱，铭记这些，以史为鉴。如今，东方雄狮已经从噩梦中苏醒，发出一声令世界颤抖的吼叫！

中国近代正在飞速发展：从2008年在北京举行的奥运会到2010年在广州举办的亚运会，见证了中国经济发展的速度；我国的科技发展更是值得一提，“嫦娥一号”、“神舟一号”、“天宫一号”等飞船已经陆续发射上太空，中国的科技已经名列前茅，中国正在不断强大、发扬起来！中国，这条东方的巨龙已经在黑暗中散发万丈光芒，一座座高楼拔地而起；凹凸不平的小路消失了，取之而代的是一条条沥青马路。。。。。。
