一、遣词方面：用词要贴切而丰富，善用短语 ,词汇是语言的建筑材料，文章的好坏，选词很关键，如果用词精湛，就会使文章“亮”起来。

试比较下面句子：

2、要善于运用短语

3、要避免汉语思维

用词要符合英语习惯，避免汉语思维的影响，如某些名词和动词搭配已约定俗成，不能随意打乱其搭配习惯，否则会显得生硬和词不达意。如汉语中的“学到知识”，英语中就不能说“learn knowledge”，而要说acquire knowledge (获得知识) 。类似的动宾结构还有achieve success (获得成功)，gain reputation (获得声誉)，attain ones end (达到目的)等。

二、造句方面：句式要准确而多变，活用复合句

简单句用得太多，会造成文章读起来乏味。在评卷员看来，同样意思的内容，能够运用比较复杂的句式结构来表达，当然会认为其运用语言的能力要比只会用简单句来表达要强，评分自然就高。

1、巧用非谓语动词

运用非谓语动词，可使文句看起来更简洁，使语言更加丰富多彩，重点更加突出，增加文采。如：

3、巧用复合句

孝敬老人不仅仅要在重阳节这天，而且要时常提醒自己，平时对老人关心得够不够。又是一年重阳节，从现在开始就让我们更多地去关爱老人吧，那才是有意义的重阳节。

Since I went to college, I feel so excited about the new chapter of my

life. I have imagined the campus life for so many years. Now I finally come to

this stage. I have much time after class, so I need to learn to deal with it.

After two years’ struggling, I find the right way to spend my time.

The first thing for every college student is to learn major knowledge. In

China, so many students think college time is used to play instead of study, so

they skip class. This is a big mistake. College is the stage for students to

master practical skills, which decides what kind of job they will work on. So I

study very hard from Monday to Friday. I don’t want to miss the important

knowledge.

The second thing for college students is to join the after-class

activities. Joining the activities can not only learn more skills, such as dance

and sports, but also can make friends. Campus is like a small society. Students

need to learn to make connections with other students, so that they can win more

chances. I learn a lot from my new friends and know how to communicate.

My college life is wonderful, I learn both knowledge and social skills.

Life is each persons wealth, because the world with life and colorful, full of vigour, let us love and cherish own life, seize every minute of life. Life is short, be gone for ever, human life is fleeting, time can not be reversed, we can only in a limited life infinite brilliance.

That day, my good friend clay came to my house to play, my mother know, immediately do a lot of delicious to clay. When we have fun when, suddenly, clay fainted. Mom saw mud, immediately sent to hospital. After the doctors detailed inspection, the final judgment is had leukemia. Doctor for my mother said: oh! The child to live no longer than four months, if you come a little earlier treatment, it is no big deal. But now... Alas! Mother pale, said to the doctor: doctor, do not save? The doctor reluctantly shook his head. At that moment, I have tears in eyes is the best, but couldnt flow down. I think: why the event would fall in my good friend why, why! My mother said to me: my daughter, you dont cry. We dont know if that mud, mud know she will be very sad, you promised mom dont tell clay, okay? I cried and said: Mom and I promise you, I will not tell her.

We came to the clay ward, pretending to be happy. For I in the four months to make clay can happy every day, make clay in full every day, I spend a lot of time. But time always flies so fast, I am very sad, because I know the clay have not much time.

Since we go to school, the teachers educate us to be a better person, they

tell us that we must study hard, so that we can be the useful person. Many

students confuse about what is the useful person. In my opinion, the useful

person must have the good merit.

A person with the kind heart is favored by everyone and he has the sense to

serve others. The bad person will bring danger to others, even to the society.

The most important thing of the useful person is to make a contribution to the

society.

They will make full use of their knowledge and be proud of serving for the

society. Our premier Zhou stated his purpose of learning knowledge was to make

our country rise. He did it and he became the great person. Becoming the useful

person is not easy, we should fight for it.

As the Christmas Day is coming, our class decided to send some gifts to our

teachers, because we wanted to show our gratitude to them. At first, we had no

idea what to buy, because we wanted to do something special. So at last an idea

came to my mind. I advised to write a card, pasting some pictures of classmates

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

and everybody wrote down their names on the card. When we sent this gift to the

teachers, they loved it so much. They were so impressed by this precious

surprise and would keep it forever.
