有一天，一只小黑狗啃着骨头，小狗马上窜上去抢。小黑狗一闪，让小狗扑了个空。接着，小狗猛地站起来，前爪前伸，身子后倾，尾巴一挺，“呼”地向小黑狗扑过去。小黑狗一声怪叫和小狗厮打。它们“汪汪”乱叫，蹿上蹿下。小狗看准时机，狠狠地把小黑狗的腿咬了一口，小黑狗惨叫了一声，一瘸一拐地夹着尾巴放下骨头溜走了。小狗趴在地上舔着身子，又津津有味地吃着“战利品”。

这样可爱、勇猛的小狗叫我怎么会不喜欢它呢?

它要是高兴，能比谁都殷勤，能比谁都温柔。它会冲你汪汪叫几声，或是蹭着你的腿叫你把它抱进怀里，轻轻抚摸它，它偎在你的怀里，静静地躺着，享受着你的爱抚，仿佛是个温顺的孩子。它还很善解人意，在你写作业的时候，它也不吵不闹，只是静静地趴在你身边，摇头晃脑地看着你，或者自己玩，就是不会打扰你;但它若是不开心，情绪不高，你叫它，它也不会理你，更愿意躲在一个角落里，蜷成一团，呼呼大睡;你若这时训它，它的小脾气一上来，就会跟你赌气，然后“离家出走”，出去一天也不见个影儿，让你挂念它。

猫有一双明亮的眼睛，即使在伸手不见五指的黑夜里，也能看清东西，再狡猾的老鼠也逃不过猫的眼睛。它的耳朵很灵活，能够随意转向声音的来处，只要有声音，它都能及时辨出。猫的脚上有一块软厚的肉垫，因而走起路时。没有声响。猫的胡须很粗，感觉灵敏，能测量出各种洞口的大小。 猫的尾巴高高翘着，尾巴上的花纹一圈一圈好象一串珍珠似的。猫的皮毛有黑白相间的，有白色的，还有的是白底黑斑。

猫很有耐心。它看见老鼠钻进了洞，它就在洞口耐心的等待，它等啊，等啊，等了一整天。

猫非常贪睡。它一有时间就睡觉，椅子上，桌子上，床上，柜子里都是它睡觉的地方，可是它的耳朵却没有休息，只要一有动静，它就会马上站起来。

小猫十分贪玩。有时候它把绒线球当球踢，有时候它玩自己的尾巴，有时候它爬到树上，又跳了下来，还有时候它看见美丽的蝴蝶飞来飞去，它也跟着跑来跑去。

猫还非常贪吃。主人烧了鱼，它就趁主人不注意偷吃。小猫还有时爬到鱼缸里，用爪子抓起一条鱼就往嘴里塞。

小猫真贪吃，贪玩，贪睡，可是它捉老鼠的本领是那么高。让人敬佩。
