One day, we saw the tsuen wan son seems to be some sad, with his head down in their seats, we immediately ran past, asked her what happened? But she still dont talk with his head down. We all dont understand what is going on? So we have to forget it, but we knew that there must be some great things, tsuen wan son wont like that, because, in our eyes, everyone she is a cheerful girl.

In the third grade, I met a girl called zhang zheyu, but she was very cute when she didnt look at her name. She had large, watery eyes, as if they could talk, and she was full of reiki. People’s whole life is not too long or too short. They have experienced

many things in their life journey, such as, success, fail, happy, sad, and

excited and so on. What about dreams? Some people think that they have so many

things to deal with in the limit time. How can they spend time for dream? It is

a waste of time. However, some people regard dreams are as important as their

life. People can’t live without dream. In my opinion, I agree with the latter

idea.

First of all, dreams provide life motivation for human beings. If a person

has a dream, he will try his best to take every chance to reach it. Even though

he will meet many difficulties on the way, even has to give up, but he will

renerve in the end. It is because he has dreams, and he has the desire to see

the day his dream come true. So no matter what obstacle he meets, he has the

motivation to overcome. This is the power of dreams.

In addition, life without dreams is meaningless. We often see that when

someone talks about his dream, his face is full of smile. It is because dreams

give him hope and fun. No matter the dream is easy to make it or not, when the

people think of it, they will have the beautiful vision to fight for. But if a

person who don’t have a dream, he would not know what he should do and can do.

His life is confused and meaningless.

In a word, dreams look like the lighthouse in the ocean. It gives people

motivation and the meaning of their journey. It is so significant that everyone

needs dreams.

The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. "La" is the name given to the 12th lunar month and 8 is pronounced as "ba" in Chinese, which translated is "Laba." There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. It was also a time for the ancient Chinese to pray to heaven and earth that there would be a bountiful harvest. Many people hoped for good luck as well for the coming year.

农历十二月初八是中国的传统节日——腊八节，腊代表中国农历的十二月，而八是eight的发音，因此，这个节日被翻译成腊八。关于腊八起源的传说有很多，我们已经不能辨其真假。时至今日，我们确定的是这个节日起初是为了祭祀祖先，祈求丰收以及为即将来到的一年祈福。

Traditionally, the Laba rice porridge is the most important element of the festival. Generally, the porridge contains eight ingredients which can include glutinous rice, red beans, millet, Chinese sorghum, peas, dried lotus seeds and some other ingredients, such as dried dates, chestnut meat, walnut meat, almond, peanut, etc. The porridge must be boiled for many hours and then offered as a sacrifice to the ancestors. This must be done before noontime. Also, it is tradition that family members eat the porridge together. Then they leave some as a symbol of hope for a good harvest the coming year.

Another custom is the soaking of Laba garlic. Garlic is soaked in vinegar for more than twenty days starting from Laba festival. Then when the Chinese New Year comes, the garlic and vinegar is used alongside jiaozi on the table.

腊八节的另一传统式腌制腊八蒜。从腊八节那天起，就将蒜泡在醋中二十多天，这样，到春节的时候，就可以在餐桌上与饺子同食了。

“快跑，快跑，恩，高了高了！”这是我与几个伙伴放风筝时的声音。今天，天好蓝好蓝，只有几朵白得似棉花一样的云和闪着金光的太阳在它的怀抱里。我们几个伙伴约好后就开始放风筝了

起初，没有多少风，我的兴致一下减了好多，看着伙伴们一个个都把他们的风筝放到了属于它们的怀抱-天空，心里如吃了五瓶醋一样酸溜溜的，落寞了许多。后来，天空作美，终于起风了，我的妹妹高兴地跳起来，催我快跑，便出现了文章开头的那一幕，看着自己的风筝慢慢上升，心中的烦恼也随着风筝飞走了，快乐的我飞快的放线，让那属于我的风筝去追那些比它更高的风筝。渐渐，我感到手里轻了许多，低头一看，原来，满满的一团线被我放完了！我坐在田埂上抬头看着风筝，才发现我的风筝已经位居第二了，我的心里高兴极了。最后，天快下雨了，鸟儿也回巢了。我想我的风筝也该离开属于它的怀抱，该回到大地母亲上了，我，也恋恋不舍的离开里田野。

在烦恼的时候，何尝不放一下风筝呢？这样既锻炼身体，又可以让烦恼随风飘走！

My Family

My family includes three people and a pet. These three people are my father, my mother , and I. I also have a cat named cookie.

My father is hardworking and playful. He rus a small business at home. He is very busy, but he always s firnds the time to cook dinner and help me with homework. Although he is strict at times, he can also be playful and funny.

My mother is caring and hardworking, too. She’s a chemist and often works very late. Nevertheless, she is always there to take care of me. Though her expectations for me are very high. I know she only wants what’s best for me.

My cat, cookie, is a member of my family, too. She is a cute black and white cat. At times I find her eager to play. But usually she’s sleeping on the sofa. I never know what surprises she’ll bring next.

I consider myself very lucky to come from such a loving family. A family like mine should never be taken for granted. I love my family.
