贴门神这是几乎家家户户过年都要做的，关于贴门神还有一段有趣的神话传说：相传在古时候，有位龙王总想偷吃玉帝的贡品，玉帝发现后狠狠地惩罚了它，可龙王依然屡教不改，于是，玉帝让两位身强力壮的天神看守大门，不让龙王再来捣乱。可是两位天神和我们一样要睡觉休息。于是玉帝想了一个好办法，把两位天神的画像贴在门上，从此贴门神的习俗就这样代代流传。

在我国的北方有一种习俗，就是吃饺子，饺子的谐音即“交子”，表达了人们对更岁交子，对新的一年吉祥富裕的一种渴望。而南方人则喜欢在大年的早晨吃汤圆，意味着我们在新的一年里圆圆满满，团团圆圆。人们还喜欢把一种叫“荠菜”的蔬菜和汤圆一块吃，“荠菜”有被称作“聚财”意喻在新的一年招财进宝，心想事成。

春节里，我们更少不了要放鞭炮来活跃一下春节时欢欢喜喜的气氛了。放鞭炮在民间还有一个传说：相传在远古的时侯，有一只叫“年”的怪兽，每到春节的时候就出来吓唬人，于是人们就想了个办法，用竹筒点燃扔向它，竹筒爆炸后发出很大的声响，吓走了年兽，放鞭炮的习俗就这样流传下来了。

春节的习俗还有很多很多，它丰富了我们的知识，拉近了人们的距离。它是中华名族的优良传统，让我们一起去了解它们吧!

As a middle school student, I learn many subjects, I study so hard every day. When I get home, I will do my homework and then go over the book. But when holiday comes, I feel a little confused, because I don’t want to study and do something new. Then I don’t know what to do, my mind get blank. I decide to develop my interest. Some day, I happened to see a tennis match and I couldn’t stop watching, then I fell in love with tennis. So I started to learn playing tennis, I felt so happy. Now tennis is my favorite sport, I find a way to relax myself.

大年三十，我们全家换上新衣，贴上新春联，准备迎接新年的到来。晚上，我们全家吃着饺子，饺子有一层寓意:财源滚滚。因为饺子像一个元宝，在古时候元宝就是钱。守岁一定少不了>,没有>,守岁就没有意思。我们一家坐在沙发上，欢声笑语，看着>，其乐融融。

大年初一，我和爸爸坐着自家的车，走在新修的大路上，虽然寒风刺骨，但还是欢乐无比。到了奶奶家，我跟奶奶拜了一个年得到了一个大红包，心想：今年发财喽!然后和奶奶的街坊邻居拜了个年。接着来到了大伯家，来到大伯家，就如来到书的天堂，有故事类，科学类，艺术类……在大伯家吃完饭之后，我收到了红包和一些书,我要一点点把着些书消化掉。来到大伯家真高兴!

我今年真高兴，真是一个快乐的春节!

There are many festivals in China，During these holidays, my favorite holiday is Chinese New Year.Not only because it’s the biggest festival in the year, but also because it’s a new beginning that brings hope to people and it’s time for family gathering.Before the festival, people come home no matter where they are.Usually, we have a big dinner on the New Year’s Eve. And then families sit together and share their lives or planes.Some will play games or hang out to have some fun.

On the New Year’s Day, people get up early and say good words to anyone they meet.Children can get lucky money from relatives.In the following days, we will visit relative’s home and bring New Year’s wishes to them.In short, it’s a time for family gathering and all of us enjoy it.

The Power of Smile Besides music,smile perhaps is the most beautiful language without borders between different people.In our childhood when we are babies,the first thing that we learn is to smile which is before"Mum and Dad".Smile has no difference among people,no matter who you are and where you are from.When we have a problem,conflict or misunderstanding, only smile can help us conmmunicate and release;when we are facing with some difficulties, only smile can help us overcome.We will never forget the smile in the faces of the volunteers of the Olympic Games and Shanghai Expo which show our friendship, generosity and the warmness.And we will never forget the smile in the faces of the waiters in a restaurant,the door-boy at the hotel gate,the teacher in the class and the doctors in the hospital.All these smiles are so beautiful that we feel the world is so nice,and the relation between people is so amazing.You will certainly think that life is sunny and attractive every day with a smile.
