Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

many excellent students. Now I get used to the life, I learn many subjects from

Monday to Friday. Though I always meet the difficulties in learning the new

knowledge, I get help from my teachers and classmates. I am not afraid of the

middle school life again, I am so excited to learn new things every day. In the

future days, I will meet many challenges, I believe I can get over them. Life in

middle school has happiness and sorrow, they fulfill my life.

时间飞逝，转眼间我就要离开那遍布着我足迹的小学了，想着便有了许多的依恋与不舍，在那里充满着嬉笑声，有着老师的无私关怀和同学之间的友爱……

记得在我上三年级的时候，早晨我背着书包走进教室，老师还没来，我便坐在椅子上默默地读书。有几个比我早到的同学，他们从教室里跑出去，又从外面冲进教室，像是有什么秘密似的，玩得“热火朝天”，把老师的话语抛到九宵云外了，也许是被他们“感染”了，“贪玩”之心慢慢增长，坐立不安的我终于站起身来，手上拿着语文书，走到教室门口，似乎想玩，又很胆怯，怕“撞”到老师了，做“贼”似的在门口停留了一会，就赶紧返回教室。就在我脚踏进教室的一刹那，门向我“飞”了过来，随着“嘭”的一声，小驿从门后走出来了，他坏笑着看了我一会，表情马上变成了惊恐，同时我也被这突来的事情惊呆了，一阵钻心似的痛涌向我的额头，用手去触摸它，有凸起的感觉，顿时我吓得大哭起来。在一旁的萱萱和乐乐赶紧把我带到了学校医务室，老师说让我们回去冷敷，于是他们把我带到水池边，用手接水放在我撞的包上，姚老师也过来了，边了解情况，边拿出自己的毛巾，用水打湿，亲自放在我的额头上，还不停地给我更换冷的毛巾，同时跟我妈妈打电话，带我到医院……在姚老师的冷敷下，疼痛缓解了许多。后来我虽然没什么大障，但小驿看着我感觉挺不好意思的，当然我们仍然还是好朋友，从此以后像这样的事情班上再也没有发生过了……

虽然我们调皮，喜欢做恶作剧，但我们也挺好学的。记得在一次的班会课后，阳阳向我发出了挑战：比一比这次考试谁的英语成绩好。虽然我有不足，暂时不是他的对手，但我也不甘示弱，接受了他的挑战。于是我开始认真地复习英语，该记该写的我一个不落下，经过我的努力，我以一分之高的好成绩战胜了他，赢得了这次比赛，也同时让我明白了，付出总是会有收获的！

这就是我的小学生活，它让我慢慢地成长，令我难以忘怀！

暑假生活快要结束了，回想起快乐的假期，真是令人难忘!

暑假一开始，我们一家就跟团到贵阳去旅游。一到贵阳，我就被漫山遍野点缀在玉米地里的`向日葵迷住了。只见一朵朵金色的向日葵开在浓绿的玉米地里，美极了!在接下来的几天里，我们去了许多美丽的地方，如一座座山拔地而起的万峰林、世界自然遗产——大七孔、小七孔，雄伟壮观的黄果树瀑布等。我被这美丽的风景深深吸引住了。

贵阳不但山好水好，人也好。记得有一次，我和妈妈到贵阳市的花溪公园划船。一不小心，船往一块石头上撞了过去，我们一时无法控制方向了。这时，一个小伙子及时帮我们把船拉了回来，使我们摆脱了困境。我们很感激他。

旅游结束以后，我又报了一个游泳班。经过十几天的学习，我终于学会了游泳。此外，假期里我还会了活力板。这些活动让我们的暑假过得很充实。

总之，这个暑假里，我不但欣赏到了祖国大好的河山，还学会了两项技能。这真是一个快乐、充实、令人难忘的暑假。

When I was picking up my stuff after school， I saw a dog staring at me at the school gate .I was kind of scary. I thought the dog would bite me when I was going out. But it was not. The dog started to follow me. I was very afraid. I started to run away， but the dog did it， either. Suddenly， the dog ran pass away me. I realized the man in front of me was the owner of the dog. I was relieved.

From then on， as long as a dog stares at me， I will look back to have a look whether there is another person near or not.

每年到了暑假，我的生活就大不一样了，比在校园的学习生活更加搞笑、更加充实、更加有好处。

本搞笑的暑假生活。放暑假以后，我的生活开始变得搞笑。夏日天气炎热，和朋友去游泳馆游泳是我暑假中最快乐的事。

每到午后1点，约上几个要好的朋友，带好游泳装备，带点零花钱，去人民公园的游泳馆游泳。一头扎下水，被太阳晒萎蔫的我们，立刻恢复了勃勃生机，我们快乐得像鱼儿一样，在水里遨游。

我们能够在浅水区做一些游戏，能够在水里打水仗，四溅的白色水花似乎也被我们的快乐气氛感染了，顽皮地活蹦乱跳。

充实的暑假生活。平时上学的时候，学习压力很大，我没有时间去做一些自己喜欢做的事情。暑假以后，我有超多的时间去发展自己的兴趣爱好。我喜欢钢琴，早上起床，赶着早儿，天气还算清凉的时候，

我就坐在钢琴前面练琴。有时候，早期的小鸟也过来凑热闹，站在窗外哼起小曲，伴着我的琴声跳舞。除了练琴，我还喜欢读一些书，这在平时是很难有时间沉醉在书籍的海洋里的。

有好处的暑假生活。每个暑假，爸爸妈妈都会带我去旅游。书上说：“读万卷书、行万里路。”每次出去旅游，我都会增进对这个世界的了解，增进我的社会经验和独立生活的潜力。

今年，爸爸妈妈带我去了欧洲，我们游览了意大利、德国、法国、英格兰，我真是被欧洲的风光所折服。在欧洲旅游的十天里，我不仅仅仅领略到了欧洲的美景，还了解了很多欧洲的历史。

这就是我的暑假生活。
