Dragon Boat Festival is a very grand festival in China. It is to

commemorate Qu Yuan, a great patriotic poet in the Warring States period. Now

Chinese people still continue this custom, even a legal festival.

After eating zongzi, my father took me to watch the dragon boat race. There

are lots of people here, and the traffic is very busy! The race started, and

every team is ready to go. With a burst of gunfire, each dragon boat flies

across the water like an arrow. The audience cheered and shouted, cheering and

encouraging for the contestants. The contestants listened with confidence and

strove hard to paddle, and the water splashed everywhere. Each dragon boat

chased after each other. At last, the laggard No. 1 finally caught up with the

far ahead No. 2. The audience couldnt help cheering. There was a sea of joy

everywhere. Ah! This is the most unforgettable day for me.

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

In Tianjin,there are many buildings of bygone times.Some of them are

imposing and have great artistic and historic value.However,these buildings do

mot fit in well with each other,because most of them were built by foreigners in

different times.The traffic in the city is not very convenient.The street are

usually narrow and twisted.If the government wanted to have them widened,a large

number of buildings would have to be pulled down.Some buildings are too old and

are nothing more than cottages,and in place of them,some new high buildings have

been set up.However,the new ones are still few and in many places they seem

quite out of place.

Yet those Western-style buildings give Tianjin a different characteristic

from other cities and those new ones lend the city fresh vitality which will

spread rapidly with the reform going on.

在我的家乡鄱阳湖畔，有一所绿草如荫的美丽校园，那就是我们的学校——朱港小学。 On the shore of Poyang Lake, Poyang Lake in my hometown, there is a beautiful campus like a shade, which is our school -Zhugang Primary School.

地图的旁边是一排玻璃橱窗，里面的内容可丰富了。有《小学生守则》，每个班奖扣分情况、通知还有每个星期都会更新的墙报。每天上学、放学时大家经过这里，都会停下来看一看。

在校园的马路左边，是一片很大的草坪。春天，小草从泥土里钻出来，沐浴着早春的阳光，听着同学们的歌声成长，为校园带来一片绿色。草地上有一个花坛，花坛里种满了茶花。每当入冬的时候，它就像一个个羞答答的小姑娘，露出粉红的脸庞，还散发着淡淡的茶香呢!

在教学楼的前面，是一个小小的操场。那是我们每次升国旗和做广播体操的地方。操场上有一个水泥台，上面耸立着高高的旗杆。它像一把红缨枪，又好像高高的火炬。微风下，鲜艳的五星红旗迎风飘扬，它是那么的耀眼，那么的火红。我们常常喜欢围坐在高高的旗杆下读书。这时，红旗也静静的垂下来，似乎在倾听我们琅琅的读书声呢!

下课了，同学们三个一群、五个一伙地奔向小操场，尽情地玩耍，尽情的蹦蹦跳跳。整个操场人声鼎沸，欢乐的喧闹声汇成了一首非凡的交响曲。这声音是那样悦耳，那样动听!

岁月匆匆，光阴是箭，转眼间，六年的小学生活即将过去了了。在小学的生活中，留下了许多的回忆，也是在这难忘的岁月中，我们也在一步步的成长。

啊！石笋街小学！一所远近驰名的小学，很多家长都舍近求远不惜“几十里”让孩子来这里读书，但不是每个想要进入这所学校的人才能如愿以偿。而我却是幸运地进入了这个学校，虽然我的学习成绩在班上并不算好，但是这所学校的文化和思想却深深地根植在我心中。

我这个人从上幼儿园起就是“臭名昭著”的淘气鬼，上了小学后还是死性不改。上课时，别的同学都纹丝不动地认真听讲，而我却如坐针毡，抓耳挠腮；一到下课时间我就活蹦乱跳，如鱼得水，简直就是一只“人型猴”！全靠我的班主任蒙老师，经过不懈的努力，如今终于把我从“人型猴”变回了“人型人”。

学校校风严谨，对学生的日常行为举止都有明确的规定：要求学生听到上课铃后必须马上回到教室。可我这个人有个毛病，偏偏喜欢由着性子来。记得一个课间，我正和两个同学在操场上玩得高兴，耳边却响起了我最讨厌的上课铃声，管他的，晚点回教室又怎样？于是果断决定再玩一会儿，虽然我心知肚明这样做是不对的，但我还是舍不得结束这愉快的游戏时间。蒙老师焦急地跑到操场时，惊讶地发现我和另一个班的同学正悠闲自得地穿越主席台！当我看见她并看清她担忧的神色时，我羞愧难当地低下了头。我默默地走到老师面前，以为一顿痛骂是在所难免了，没想到她却和颜悦色地对我说：“你知道全班同学都在等你吗？你知道所有人的时间都让你浪费了吗？你知道浪费别人的时间就等于犯罪吗？”一连三个问题问得我哑口无言，面红耳赤，头也埋得更低了。我深深的意识到我已经不是一个幼儿园的小朋友了，作为一名小学生，理应自觉遵守学校的各项规定，以更高的要求约束自己，这样才能成为一个当之无愧的石笋人。

像这样的事情经常会发生在我的身上，而老师却总是不厌其烦地对我尊尊教诲，现在我已经上四年级了，虽然我的行为还不是十分规范，可我的内心也渐渐想要严格遵守纪律，相信随着时间的推移，我会更好地融入学校的文化，做一个骄傲的石笋人！

暑假已经开始了，天好热阿，尽管每一天还有作业要做，但是我还是很开心。

这天爸爸答应带我去公园玩了，情绪真高兴!一大早我们就出发了，爸爸妈妈和我，很快的我们就到了。到了公园，人可真多了，天气再热，也没有阻挡小朋友们的热情。一如既往的，大家都还在嬉戏，我也不例外，我一开始就奔往旋转木马，爸爸去买了2张票，我和妈妈就上去了，爸爸说自己不上去，要在下面看着我和妈妈，呵呵，还有点不好意思呢，我和妈妈赶紧就上去了，音乐开始了，木马随着音乐一上一下，就开始的转了起来，风轻轻吹的我的脸，好生舒服!每次来公园我都要坐旋转木马，坐在着木立刻，我有一种说不出的喜悦。

我们又坐了激流探险，我观察了一下周围，来的都是和我差不多大的小朋友，和他们的爸爸妈妈，看来这也是一个“家庭”探险!很快的就排队轮到我们上小船了，呵呵，看起来不太大的船，竟然也能装我们3个人，小船慢慢随着水漂了出去，水也沿着原先的水泥道漂了出来，我伸出头看了看，水中有固定的好的齿轮，也就是说这个小船底也是有齿轮，船才随着水的冲力漂出去，我吧这个想法告诉了爸爸妈妈，他们都说我真是会观察生活!之后船漂了一大圈，到了一个高处，突然“哗”，我们从一个最高点冲了下去，我和爸爸妈妈都叫了出来，几秒钟的时间，我们就到了出发的远点，真是刺激，呵呵，那个瞬间真是令人难忘~!!

下一站是动物园，又好多可爱的小动物，有猴子，老虎，大象，狮子，鸵鸟，好多好多······我还有幸和他们做了朋友，合了影呢，他们都像是我可爱的朋友!

时间如逝，很快就到了傍晚，我依依不舍的离开了公园，但是爸爸说，只要我好好计划我的暑假生活，还会带我来的。那我要回去好好规划一下我的暑假，期盼下次再次到来~!

I have a happy weekend!Take lessons on Saturday, Im going to cram school,

tutoring English and maths. In the afternoon, I watch TV at home. In the

evening, I want to go out for a walk with mom and dad and sister.On Sunday, Im

lunch, Im going to the sports, the body health is very important! In the
