popular. Nowadays, almost every family has a computer. Because of computers, our

daily life is improving.

Computer has a great effect on our daily life. In the first place, computer

has so many functions. As we have computers, we neednt buy books, radios, TVs

and any other things, because computer can take place of them. Secondly, surfing

on the Internet must be very interesting. Through the Internet, we can do

everything we like. Thirdly, thanks to the Internet, we can get the further

education at any time, so we dont have to get up so early in winter days.

However, a coin has two sides, because its new doesnt mean its always

good. At present, most students spend too much time on computer games. I dont

think its a good phenomenon, because it will do great harm to our eyes as well

as our health if we play computer games all the time.

In my opinion, we should use the computers in the right way. For instance,

we can read the latest news on the internet to know the world better; read the

e-books to enrich our knowledge or download some useful information for our

work. We can also make different friends on the Internet, so that our life will

be colorful. I believe computers will be our best friends if we make good use of

them.

Remember last years summer vacation, my father and I went for a walk EHu edge, a way, Im kind of shouted thirsty, so my father on the side of the road store bought me a Popsicle. I ate and go, soon finished eating, carelessly threw the ice sticks into EHu. Dad saw, reminded me immediately; "Coco, cant litter oh! If everyone like you to throw garbage in the lake, the beautiful EHu lake becomes waste." Im ashamed of say: "know, next time I must not litter." I imagine a lot about lives in the future. I think two words can summarize

my imagination. The first word is fast. In the future, we will have more quickly

transportation means. Now matter how far we go, it takes only a short time. With

the development of science and technology, we can travel to the moon, Mars or

somewhere outer space. People may can live in other planets. The second word is

convenient. Because of the fast development of our society, many work can be

done by computers or even robots. Lots of things are fully automated. Humans

寒假春节，在一次午餐中，我不知道是怎么了嘴巴像个大漏勺，不停地往外面漏饭。

外婆一边把饭捡起来一边批评我说：“粮食是很珍贵的，农民能够种一点儿粮食，早出晚归，你们有饭吃，还浪费，真是生在福中不知福!”

外婆批评了我，我一气之下，冲进了房间。正当我想不明白外婆怎么这样做的时候。外婆走了进来，和蔼地对我说：“佳佳，你的做法是不对的，咱们不能浪费粮食呀!你现在不觉得粮食很珍贵，等到没粮食的时候，后悔也来不及了呀!”说着，外婆拉着我的手，讲起了她小时候的贫苦生活：外婆小时候父母要抚养四口人，生活十分拮据，外婆的妈妈也就你的祖母，每天早出晚归，尽量帮家里多挣一些钱，让四姊妹能够吃饱，出去帮别人洗点衣服，挣一点小钱，又去田里种地……做完这些事，已经是深夜了。回来后才给家人做饭，早已累得满头大汗，那汗珠布满额头，像是月季花上的露水。淘米了，总要把米一粒不剩的捡起来放在破锅里，煮熟了，一人吃一小团，一粒米都不敢浪费，总是饿着肚子，还要帮着种地，带比自己小的弟弟妹妹。一粒米浪费了，不怎样。如果每个人都浪费一粒米，再把米收集起来，那不知道又可以填饱多少人的肚子了!听了外婆语重心长的话，我感到十分羞愧。

从那以后，我再也不浪费粮食了。每顿饭都不会漏饭。我还要叫其他人不能浪费粮食，便给他们讲粮食的重要性。如果地球没了粮食，人们将会饿死，珍惜粮食就像珍惜自己的生命一样。如果家庭贫苦，就只能饿一顿，饱一顿。大家一起节约粮食吧!

Dear Tom,

Thanks for your letter which finally caught up with me in London. I suppose youre keen to hear how the trip has been so far. So heres a short description of whats happened.

Well, you remember we left Sydney on Monday and arrived in London 24 hours later. After such a long and exhausting flight the first thing we did was to have a good, long sleep. And after that?a good meal to make up for all that horrible airline stuff!

The first real day of our holiday was spent just walking around London to get a feel of the place. After that, however, we were more particular and planned each day carefully.

First, we looked at all the historical sights, such as the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, the British Museum and the National Gallery. Then we visited some other famous places, such as Kew Gardens and Hampstead Heath. Finally, we took a one-day trip to Oxford, which is really the most marvelous town. You should make sure to go there when you visit England.

After we had seen a lot of London, we flew to Paris. A t first, we didnt like the place-I suppose because it was so different from London. Later, though, we began to really love it and started to appreciate its differentness.

The final stage of our trip is a visit to Rome, after which we will be staying in Singapore for two days before returning to Australia.

蓦然回首，小学生活，却在我心里.

记得今年3月，学校评选优秀辩手，参加市教育局组织的辩论赛。学校很多同学报名，我是抱着“重在参与”的想法报名的。在老师的指导和同学的鼓励下，我积累了一些辩论经验，学会了如何更有力地反驳，如何讨论自己的观点，如何抓住对方的漏洞等等。

被各级学校选中后，我有幸代表李群小学与刘玉军、王珏等同学参加了城市辩论赛。我很开心，也很激动。

就在我沾沾自喜的时候，张老师走过来对我说：“市内竞争如云。你的每个对手都是对方学校的精英。不要小看敌人，需要练习。”在张老师的指导下，我们每天都努力练习。我们失声了，喉咙也断了，但是没有人抱怨，也没有人累。就这样，我们每天充实自己的思想。

比赛的日子终于来了。第一局我们轻松战胜了南芬小学。但是事情并不顺利。第二局我们输给了本溪实验小学。

Nowadays peoples life develops quite rapidly. Many things have changed

over the last century. Old buildings are relaced by skyscrapers. Telephone,

air-conditioner, TV, digital camera, computer and the Internet have taken their

place in our life. We have stepped into Information Age. We are always enjoying

the newest digital products. With all these hi-tech products, people are leading

a more and more colorful life. They are enjoying life more than ever in their

spare time. They can watch movies, surf the Internet, take a holiday and so on.

How different the present life is from the previous one when people couldnt

even feed themselves. Whats more, it differs a lot as well in transportation.

Various modern means of transpot have taken the place of human feet and horses.

People can take aeroplanes, subways, even maglevs and so on. They offer people

much convenience. That is to say, people neednt feel worried for wasting a

great deal of time travelling any more. However, while people are enjoying the

changes caused by hi-tech, something still remains the same. For example, those

traditional customs and festivals, especially the custom that people gather to

have dinner as well as ethical culture forms like Peking Opera, ancient

architecture and traditional food. Peking Opera is spreading throughout. As to

ancient architecture like Siheyuan and Hutong, people are still preserving them

well as the symbol of the whole nationalitys historical culture. As for

traditional food, people are still used to eating it. Even though the world has

been extremely highly developed and there are many foreign cultures are pouring

into China, traditional food is still the mainstream. So, I think, although

those hi-tech products bring along unprecedented creature comfort, traditional

cultures will stay unchanged and they will develop further. And on the original

basis, it must creat miracles one after another, because it belongs to the souls

of our Chinese nationality.

眼睛是人生的指路灯，没有它，人生是迷惘的。眼睛是心灵的窗户，没有它，人生是黑暗的。请用心呵护自己心灵之窗。

我是一个近视的女孩，我对此又深刻的体会。小时候，叔叔在下棋，爸爸在看，而我在爸爸的旁边。妈妈在船里做饭。由于爸爸的疏忽，我从2楼摔下来了，一个眼睛伤了。但是那是我没有哭，不喊疼，父母以为没事了，就没有在意。

渐渐地，我开始看书了，可是怎么我看不见呢?之后越看越近，一次妈妈看见了，说：”小乖，别那么近看书知道么?会影响眼睛的。“听了我就回了一声：”知道了，妈妈“。后来我看电视看多了，辐射也很大，眼睛开始变小了，偶尔眯成了线状。一次，老师调位了，我坐在后面，糟糕，不适应，看不见黑板，可是我又不敢和老师说，怕老师说不懂预防近视。

时间长了，我看书几乎是成了吃书，你能想象我看书是多么的近吧!妈妈见到此种情况，便带我到医院检查。一路上，妈妈的埋怨，唠叨，我是多么的恨自己，为什么不注意自己的眼睛呢?

到医院，医生说：”近视这么深，没有配眼镜吗?“妈妈说：”没有，之前我没发现她会那么近的看书、看电视，她又不敢说，近段时间我才发现的“医生看了看我。我不禁低下了头，埋怨自己。医生问妈妈：”小时候有弄伤或是家族的先天性近视吗?“妈妈说：”小时候弄上过左眼，可是当时小乖不疼，就没有检查“医生说道：”检查出来有弱视，反光而且很大。“就算配眼镜，也不能调到正常人的视力，只能是5。0的。那一刻，我恍然大悟了，戴眼镜那么累赘，而且一副要620，这对家庭的负担又重了。想到近视很深，甚至会瞎，心里一片慌乱。

我后悔道，自己没有注意用眼卫生，现在戴眼镜不方便，摘下眼镜，眼前一片黑暗，世界的多姿多彩，没有了明亮的眼睛，一切都会是灰暗的。

我只想以个人的经历告诉大家：眼睛是心灵的窗户，如果不细心去呵护，那么心灵之窗会封闭了。

呵护心灵之窗又以下的方法：

1、每天做5分钟的眼保健操，有利于眼睛不那么累。

2、每天远眺树木和山，看绿色的树木和山，有利于眼睛不那么疼，看阳光，对有反光的人来说，会损坏眼睛。

3、看书应远距离，最少要隔50厘米看书。写字姿势要正确。

4、定期检查视力，有利于知道眼睛近视的深浅程度。

5、买一支眼药水来滴滴眼睛，有利于去除疲劳。

心灵之窗，用心呵护、世界将更精彩!

时间过的真快，一晃眼，5年的光阴就要像云烟一样的过去了，我就要毕业了。小学的生活是多么令人迷恋而依依不舍，现在我们就要各奔前程了。

我就要毕业了，在这二千多个日子里，我们就像一珠幼苗，受老师的灌溉。

似乎在教室里还有我们琅琅的读书声，在操场上还有缭绕着我们的嬉戏声，在校圆里还有我们欢笑的身影。在每一个脚落，我们都曾留下难忘的回忆。

Last week, my parents told me the good news that my family would go camping

with my uncle’s family. I felt so excited about it, because I could spend the

whole night outside, which never happened before. When the day came, we brought

the equipment and bought some food. In the afternoon, the two families settled

down, then we started to walked around. My cousins and I rushed to the forest

and went to the highest point, where we can appreciate the whole sight. Standing

on the highest place, I felt so great. The world was in front of my eyes and I

thought of the old poets’ description. At night, we set the the fire and talked

happily. The parents were talking about the family chores and the kids were

playing games. It was such a happy moment for me.

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, which originates in western

country, but now it is celebrated by the world. When this big day comes, there

will be a lot of products that sold in very low prices, and the Santa Clauss

image will be seen all the street. Shops will play Christmas songs. I always

spend this festival with my friends, because my parents dont take this day

seriously. We hang out the street and join the big crowd in the square, singing

with people and then wait for the time to count down. It is such a great moment

for me. I can feel the lively atmosphere, like the New Year. On the way home, we

share our wishes and talk about the happy incidents. Christmas activity brings

me unforgettable memories.

Like every young girl, I pay attention to make myself look pretty, because

if I get more attention from others, I will be very happy. So I start to follow

the models and the movies stars dressing style, then I find that compare to

their skinny bodies, I look like a fat girl. So I have made up my mind to lose

weight. As my body is in the growth period, my parents always ask me to eat

more. When they find me start to eat less, they think I am sick. I tell them

that I want to look beautiful, then my mother says that I am beautiful in her

eyes. If I dont eat, I will look old. I search the Internet. The pictures of

skinny girls scare me, so I give up losing weight. My annoyance is gone, and I

am happy again.

我，一个爱看书的六年级学生。在课余时间中，相信你们一定有各自的爱好，而我最大的爱好就属看书莫属了！

书里面有无穷无尽的知识，使我能在学习一天的劳累时间里挣脱而出，在知识的海洋里快乐遨游！

那时，我正读三年级，记得有一会回，妈妈有事要外出，临行前对我千叮咛万嘱咐，看住锅里的菜，别焦了！

我连连点头，不一会儿，便又投入到我的“书海”里了。可是，正当我看得津津有味时，不幸的却发生了：一股股焦气扑鼻而来，开始，我还以为是邻居家的哪只菜烧焦哩呢，可随着时间的走动，焦气却越来越浓，这时，我才拍头想起了妈妈之前的嘱咐，急忙三步并两步，跑到厨房，赶忙关了煤气，打开锅，那气味，谁闻着都难受！

妈妈回来了，看到眼前的景象，并没有说我，而是对我说道：“你爱看书是好事，我不反对，可是做事不能三心二意，知道了吗？”我情不自禁地低下了头……

我也常常因为看书看得太入迷而忘了吃饭，忘了睡觉。一次，做完作业，刚好八点，我便又喜滋滋的拿起书看了起来（妈妈已经睡了），一个小时过去了……两个小时过去了……半小时又过去了，终于，妈妈醒来看见我依旧在看书，便提醒我十点半了，不早了，该休息了，我这才睡觉。

时间飞逝，一下子，三年过去了，而我却依旧爱在自己的课余生活中看课外书，我觉得看书已经是我无法割舍的爱好，三年后如许，五年后也依旧这样，永远也无法改变……

不同的玩具模型小汽车，都是我做的。史上可能认为，这些玩具汽车小模型，怎么是从一个小孩子手里创作出的呢?

由我来介绍一下我的玩具汽车小模型的其中一个吧。这是一个装饰物的盒子。首先准备两个大的和两个小的汽水瓶瓶盖，胶布，卡纸，黑色记号笔。先把卡纸剪出一个长条来，然后，再剪出五个小正方形，其中两个小正方形贴在长条上边，其余三个小正方形贴在后面。再剪一个圆圈，贴在前面最鼓的地方。然后，再用记号笔在前面画一个圆圈，这代表灯，后边也画两个灯。在侧面剪出两个车门，上边透一个顶。最下面就是贴车轮，先把两个小的贴在前面，再把两个大的贴在后面。

玩具模型小汽车是在每个孩子心中最美好的记忆。

我爱中国菜 I Love Chinese Food

Chinese food is famous all around the world. A lot of foreigners speak

highly of the delicious food when they come to this big country. For me， I like

spicy food， so hot pot is my favorite. I can eat what I like and put the food in

the spicy soup. The hotness makes me feel so cool. No matter where I go， Chinese

food is always my favorite.

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.

湖边，柳叶卷了起来，好像害羞的小姑娘。湖边的荷花开出了一朵一朵鲜艳的花来，有粉红的、淡黄的、白的，极了。湖旁的太阳花鲜花怒放。里的知了整天叫个不停，小也整天吐着短短的舌头，大象用长长的鼻子不断地往自己身上浇水，还有老虎、狮子、黑熊整天懒洋洋地泡在水里，享受着水的清凉。

小孩们和、们一起去馆游泳，甚至让爸爸、妈妈买棒冰吃。还有的跟、去防空洞避暑，更多的是呆在里开着空调看电视。那些忙碌的爸爸、妈妈们则戴着太阳帽和太阳镜，骑着，匆匆忙忙去上班。

playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the

books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was

very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends

during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in

the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival

party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the

thing most people of china doing at that time.that’s all, all my dull, coldly

and snowy winter vacation.
