我们湘乡市最美丽的就是东台山，那里景色宜人，是人们锻炼的好地方，爸爸和妈妈经常带我去玩。

星期六晚上我们一家人早早的吃完晚饭就去了东台山。我们在山脚向上仰望，东台山就犹如一个巨人显得那样的高大。东台山脚有一座桥。桥下清澈见底。水里鱼儿活蹦乱跳的可有趣了！一路上，树木林立，有的树弯着腰，好像两个兄弟在说悄悄话，有的树高高的，直冲云霄。

我不仅看到了苍翠欲滴的树木，还看到了许多我不知名的花。有的红似火，有的白如玉，有的黄如金，有的粉红像晚霞。偶尔还会有蝴蝶在花上飞来飞去，让树林变得生机盎然，嫩绿的小草与花朵相衬，是多么美妙呀！

走着走着，我们终于爬到了山顶。东台山上有一个八角亭，八角亭的八个角上挂着一串串珠子。那就是霓虹灯，一到晚上，那些霓红灯就会亮起来，远看就像五颜六色的珠子。亭里有一些老人，有的左手拉二胡，有的在看书，有的在做运动。我站在亭子里望向远方，山下的人变得像蚂蚁一般小，有的甚至小的看不见。山下的路像腰带一样缠绕。一块块水田仿佛成了一个个方格子。

低碳”这个词已经成为21世纪的代名词，低碳也是因为现在的人们终于认识到保护环境的重要性，才创造出的这个词。所以我决定，在以后的生活中，我也要处处“低碳”，保护我们生存的家园。

一切从出行开始，我出门尽量少坐出租车，距离短的就步行，距离长的就坐公交车。我发现，一段时间后，我既节省了路费，又锻炼了身体，真可谓两全其美。

接着，就要从节水做起了。我尽量用洗衣水来清洁马桶、拖地……每次喝水，我会记着要喝多少就接多少水，绝不多接，节约饮用水资源。慢慢的，我发现，地拖得越来越干净，连我都能照的出来了。

最后，就是节电了。一到晚上，我们家就灯火通明，每个房间的灯都开着，有时，电视机前没有人，电视依旧开着，浪费了不少电。我告诉爸爸妈妈，离开房间后要随手关灯。不看电视时，记得将电视关闭，并且少用电脑。在白天，能不开灯，就不要开灯。我们一家人都那么做，我相信，我们家的电费一定会少不少的。两个月后，妈妈再去交电费时，发现少了好几度电呢!

我从网上了解到：在北京，人们为了让汽车少排出尾气，有了单双号汽车在不同日期行驶。制订了无车日，也是希望大家可以低碳生活，保护我们赖以生存的家园!
