在我的眼中，妈妈就像一个上足发条的机械手表，一刻不停地劳动着。每天她是我家起得最早的，也是睡得最晚的。由于爸爸常年在外，所以妈妈每天除了忙家务，还要上班、接送我上学放学、辅导我做功课。妈妈岁数不大，才三十多岁，额上已有了与同龄人相比略深的皱纹，她的那双手一点也不像城市女人的手那样白嫩，手指又粗又短，手掌上还有许多老茧。要是评选社区家庭劳动模范，妈妈一定能拿第一名。

我是一个爱画画的人，画起画来可认真了。我的身边总是带着一个小本子，一有空就拿出笔涂鸦一番，什么天上飘着的朵朵白云啦、自由自在飞翔的小鸟啦;地上生长的小草啦、水里的鱼儿，我都爱画。我把这本子称为"绘画素材选"。由于我勤于画画，已多次在市级绘画比赛中获奖，在班上，我是大家心目中的小画家，在家里，大家也称我是个小画家，可我并不满足，长大了我还要当大画家呢﹗

电视里传来了我熟悉的歌声：我想有个家，一个不需要多大的地方是啊!人人都需要一个幸福的家。我为我有一个幸福的家而自豪。

However, my University life is totally different from the life in high school.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I also join some clubs,where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. My teachers in University are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach us knowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. In addition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.

I believe University life is an important stage in my life. In University, i can learn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to live independently.College provides me with a stage where i can show myself and be myself.

今天，我爸、我妈、姐姐和我一起来到美丽的人民公园。

我们从南门进去。两排银杏树的中间迎面一棵百年老树。我爸说：“来，吴越，你和姐姐一起在这棵树下面照一张相吧！”“好啊好啊！”我高兴地叫到。随着“咔嚓”一声，一张照片就出现在手机上了。这时，我叫起来：“我爸我妈，你们两个也照一张吧！”“哎呀，你说什么呀！”我爸小声的说，似乎有点不好意思。“哈哈哈”，我妈笑了起来，“你看你我爸！”我说：“你们两个就照一张吧！”“不行！”我妈说。我爸我妈都不答应。于是，我就动员了姐姐，联合起来向爸妈“攻击”，他们终于答应了。

吃晚餐了，我爸从厨房里端出最后一道菜——竹笋。我爸刚放桌子上，我就拿出筷子准备吃。可我爸说：“等一等。”我想：“我爸一定又要给我们出题了。”果然不出所料。我爸说：“竹子在哪里长出来呢？”我说：“在土地里长出来的！”“嗯，回答正确！”我爸又问：“竹子可以做成什么工艺品？”姐姐抢答道：“可以做成竹筷、竹篮……”姐姐说了六七样。我又补充了三四样。我爸高兴地说：“真棒！现在可以随便吃了。”“等等，还不行呢！”我妈大声说。“要求不要过高嘛”我说：“边说边吃吧！”就这样，我们度过了快乐的晚餐时光。

自从吸取了上次的教训，我再也不浪费纸张了。并且学到了低碳生活的“好本领”：淘米水可以用来浇花，这样做不仅使花草更茂盛，也可以很好地节约资源;洗菜水可以用来拖地或冲厕所……相信大家都听过一句话：如果人类不加节制地浪费水资源，那么世界上的最后一滴水，将是人类的眼泪。有人曾做过统计，只要我们中国人节约一滴水，那全国就能节约45吨水。多么惊人的数字啊!联想到祖国的万里长江和滔滔黄河，不也是由一滴滴的水汇聚而成的吗?

蓝蓝的天空，洁白的云朵，山间绿树红花，鸟儿尽情欢唱，鱼儿在水中自由遨游。多么和谐的人与自然的风景图。这不正是人们向往、憧憬的吗?从这一刻起，保护地球，过低碳生活。让我们的家园更美好、更绿色!

My teacher gave me an assignment "experience life" last week. I had been thinking how to finish it because I had never done any thing by myself before.

Mother was out today. It was a good chance to complete the assignment. Seeing the barrel was empty, I decided to fetch water from the well.

I took the empty barrel and went towards the well outside the yard. It snowed yesterday, so the alley was very slippery. A layer of thickice was frozen on the platform of the well. I was frightened by the sight, but I gathered my courage to walk towards it.

The alley was so slippery that I walked with difficultly. Suddenly, I slipped and fell down, water in the barrel totally poured down on the ground. I stepped on the platform carefully. After standing steadily and squatting down slowly, I hooked the barrel at the end of the rope and put the rope down slowly. I made an effort to drag the barrel up after it was filled with water. I was very careful because it was easy to slip and fall. Then, I carried the barrel of water and returned to my house. My figners were frozen stiff. I realized my effort was in vain. I hated myself.

I failed to finish the assignment but I did experience life through a trifle which seemed easy but difficult to do well. Such was my first experience of life.
